After a long day I decided to order dinner for my daughter and self. Open the container grabbed a pickle as I am chewing I notice black spots on the container lid. Lifted the food paper and see even more black spots. I called my daughter and she had the same. Called the store for the manager spoke with Samantha Estes who advised it was not mold, the health department just left today, and she could not refund me. I called the Ocean Springs store and was told to send an email with photos. No contact in 24 hours, no apology, no customer service, and no refund. Do not eat here. They don't care. I don't leave many reviews for chain restaurants, but my daughter and I had such a nice time here that I wanted to recognize this one. The staff were very cheerful. They were all trying hard to make sure that our experience was good. We were greeted right away. The service was fast, and they kept checking up on us in case we needed anything. I was quite surprised at this restaurant. This was the first time I have been to McAlister's, but I was looking forward to it since I am a sandwich connoisseur. I went during lunchtime and there was quite a wait. They seem to be a pretty popular place for lunch. I believe it only took around 10 minutes to get my food. The sandwich was great. It tasted very fresh with the turkey the bacon, the sauce and the bread. The potato salad was good as well. I was not a huge fan of the potato soup, but it still seemed to be hot and fresh. Overall, the restaurant seemed pretty clean, but it could use a professional clean, every once in a while. The service was good and both front desk clerks were really respectful and helpful. This McAllister's drops the ball every time I visit. Worked hard all day in the hot sun and decide to treat myself to a Reuben sandwich. While I'm eating and trying to relax I feel something is missing. Im halfway through my sandwich when I realize my Reuben has no sauerkraut or sauce. This location is terrible. My husband & I ate there & were given dirty utensils. Every worker I've seen there hasn't been helpful & their attitude is ugly. They act like they don't want to be there & there's no sense of urgency at all to get anything done. Exceptional Food and Service is what we experienced our first time at McAllister's Deli, in Biloxi on Pass Road. Smack Dab in the middle of EVERYTHING neighborhood, so very convenient, DELICIOUS, fast and affordable. I ordered the Angus Roast Beef Club sandwich, and it was to DIE FOR! I am STILL pissed at my S.O. for stealing my take home half-a- sandwich for HIS dinner at work, later that night! I am completely unsatisfied with the service and the sandwich which I had them remake once but I should have just passed all together. It was not cooked enough, and their was a strange green remnant of some other food on it. I sent it back and when its replacement was brought to me it had the taste of mustard, which I specifically asked to not have on my sandwich. One star is being generous. I ordered a small salad and a full size. I was given two small ones. Upon pointing this out, they took one of the small ones, dumped it into a large bowl, I could tell because the toppings were on the bottom and just added extra lettuce.
