    Southwest Chicken & Avocado Salad

Decent food at reasonable prices. Lots of healthy or hearty options, depending upon what you're in the mood for. Restaurant is clean and service is friendly. Basically all you can ask for in a simple deli chain. If you need a ton of calories, enjoy their spuds. If not, they gave great salads. For in between, plenty of soup and/or sandwich options.

The amount of chips included in my "loaded" nachos to-go order was infuriating after waiting as long as I did for my order. For the amount of money I paid I would hope to receive a much larger portion size than this. Not coming back to this location.

My food is always fresh and the service is always great. The baxter village location is favorite. The outdoor seating is a plus on a nice day

McAlisters deli has went down over the years. They used to serve really really fresh shammiches but I don't know what happened. My hubby had the Reuben and he said it was very bland and lacking flavor. My hubby is from NYC and he knows a good Reuben when he sees one! I had a Roast Beef, sharp cheddar and horseradish sandwich which was alright but nothing spectacular. I don't believe I will be entering another McAlisters ever again lol.

    Harvest Chicken Salad with fruit

McAlister's is a chain deli serving up sandwiches, salads, spuds, soups and more. It's a fast casual type of place. I feel like the menu changed since I was last here. My old go to was a muffaletta, but I didn't see it on the menu. I settled for a harvest chicken salad sandwich with fruit. They also have pick two combos where you can get half a sandwich and a soup or half a salad. There is an upcharge for premium items though. There are some healthy side options as well My sandwich was just okay. The croissant was flaky. For me the chicken salad was overpowering sweet that I couldn't taste anything else. The fruit was a mix of melon, berries and grapes. The environment was noisy. A lot of kids were there so it's great for families. We sat at a high top away from the kids. We do like the healthy options and hubby likes the bread bowls.

Service was much better. Got a to go order from here and was overall pleased. Everything was securely wrapped and we had to go silverware and plenty of napkins. I love their chili. You can't go wrong with either. They have the regular chili with just meat and the vegetarian chili with just beans. The veggie chili has more of a spice to it which I love. I tried their southwest chicken salad for the first time. Had fresh mixed greens with cheese, grilled chicken, corn and tomatoes. Comes with a side of chipotle ranch and guacamole which made it delicious. You can't go wrong with their sweet tea! Their strawberry lemonade is also very refreshing!

So glad I moved to Fort Mill and my new northern friends suggested this place. Not only do you need warm and friendly help, the food is so fresh and amazingly tasty. No frozen or fridge yesterday leftovers either. The salads pecan is a special return favorite and she gets Savannah Chopped Salad. I also had to try the carrot cake which is so out of this world fresh and yes, I don't say this very often, is better than Mine! Would love to know were they get it but so good, fresh and not overly filled with unnecessary ingredients. Definitely needed another slice for later tonight mmmmm Try this place once you too will get hooked!

I was a bit early for lunch arriving around 11:30 am. There was only two people in this very cute restaurant. Lots of table and chairs inside and outside for seating. I was a bit overwhelmed trying to take everything in. They have a counter top where you can see them cutting actual chicken and potatoes for the fries and placing them into what appears to be high pressure deep fryers. This place has been set up to make you the best pieces of chicken you can get. I ordered The Beaut (minus the mayo) a large chicken breast covered in a crispy batter and perfectly deep fried! There was a good amount of pickles with the sandwich, like 4 or 5 which really covered the entire sandwich so you always got a bit of them. The bun was not my favorite. I'm not sure how to describe it. A little smushed is the best way I guess. I also ordered a 6 piece bites package. These things were full on huge chunks of chicken they seasoned and deep fried. I don't normally like to take pictures of food partially eaten but I had to show what one of the bites looked like after taking a bite. They were large, hot and cooked to perfection. I did try some of their BBQ sauce. Not a big fan but it wasn't bad. I also got an order of the skin on hand cut fries! OMG they were so good! They gave me a large bag of hot fries that just totally completed this meal! And I'm talking they should have come with a warning they were so hot! Loved it! As I was waiting for my order to be bagged I notice the large cookies and the glazed hand pies they had on the counter. This isn't like other major food chains so the price is a little higher but you are getting quality food. If you are looking for some good fried chicken and hot fries then I highly recommend this place!

I also am drawn to the color scheme of the shop, but I'm biased because my favorite color is purple. On my first visit, I chose the Bananas Foster - vanilla, brown sugar, banana, and cinnamon - this did not have a strong banana taste, but it still tasted soo good, I gave 'em a pass. I also got the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich ($5), which was good and had the traditional taste of most breakfast sandwiches. On my second visit, I ordered through the app, which allowed me to fully customize my order. I got the Iced White Chocolate Cappuccino - ($6.35) - espresso, almond milk, sweet cold foam (+0.70), vanilla syrup (+$0.75). It was superb because it was made the way I requested. Service was great, no issues there.

I went yesterday (Tuesday), and they have a promotion where if you order a medium or large coffee, you get free beignets. I also ordered three extra on the side. Unfortunately, every single beignet was hard as a rock, as if they were old and reheated. By the time I got home, they were completely inedible. I really don't appreciate the inconsistency. Customers shouldn't be served anything that the staff themselves wouldn't eat. Because of this, I'll unfortunately have to find somewhere else to go for my treats.
