Had lunch with a colleague while visiting today. Decided to come here since I've never been to one before. They have a fast casual concept, so it's got a nice menu too. Plenty of parking outside. I decided to go with a Reuben, with an extra side of 1000 Island Sauce. The side I chose was the potato salad, and all of the food was delivered to the table within 5-6 minutes. All of it was good, but I have to say that their potato salad is exceptional. Also exceptional was the service. Susan in the front taking our order was super friendly, patient, and helpful. Enjoyed our interaction with the team here and it's worth the time to come get a quick bite to eat! Another great visit. As always, greeted by friendly, helpful staff. My wife ordered a veggie spud. Huge. She took half of it home! I went with a New Yorker - pastrami, corned beef & Swiss on rye. Steamed meats, great flavor and the bread wasn't soggy. None of my sandwich made it home. McAlister's is consistent. I like the wide range of menu items, so there's something for everyone. It seems like they want to compete with Panera, and they used to be better but often the sandwiches are just a lot of bread and the ingredients are less than what I might make at home for less than 2 dollars. read more

A relative new location so everything is new and clean. All McA's are really clean including the restrooms. A really unique pleasant aroma in the restrooms as well. Plenty of parking is available. I ordered the Choose Two. I selected McA's signature sandwich but substituted their sharp cheese for provolone and held the honey mustard. Its a good sandwich and it tastes great. Added to that I went with a cup of the tomato bisque. Chunks of tomato makes this a real thick soup. Their fountain drinks are really big but they're in a cup that's a bit flimsy for that size so be careful. Carry out business seemed to be brisk for 11 am. Yes, it's a chain but I tend to gravitate to either MD or Panera for a decently healthy, quick meal when I'm out of town for work. This location in Jeffersonville proved to be a good choice. The service was attentive/friendly, location is super convenient to I-265, food was good and restaurant was clean. I ordered a spud with a scoop of veggie chili and unsweetened iced tea. After receiving my drink and order number, my food was served shortly after I sat down. The potato was perfectly baked, and the veggie chili was warm and flavorful. Their tea really needs no review as it's consistently tasty. It made for a simple, super late lunch on a winter's day! I'll come back again when in the area. read more

This particular McAlister's is hit or miss. When it's good you'll leave happy, when it's bad you'll feel like kicking me for stoping here. My last visit was bad, entered a almost empty restaurant with a line at the door? After standing there for about five minutes the family of five that was in front of me got to place their order. There was four people behind that counter and no one took the initiative to step up to the register and take orders? One young lady was just standing there arms crossed looking confused..the rest of the staff were arguing amongst themselves. There was no sign of a manager. The food was cold the soup was cold and I received no pickle. This place needs leadership. After three bites of my southwest turkey I left the building with my chips and drink. I'll go to Clarksville next time they are better! read more

So this time my father went to this location today and ordered two sandwiches and some soup. I'm not sure what it is about this location but once again they have failed. When asked for no mayo and no hot mustard this is what was given and by the time I got off work it was too late to get this fixed. Something needs to happen with the night management, this never happens during lunch. And to add to the the complete disregard for customer service and satisfaction when asked for a name to put the order under they put Pepper instead of Debra that they were given and before you say maybe they gave you the wrong order he asked if this was the right order after my mothers name was not called and others behind them got their food. I'm not sure who the GM is but your establishment's standards of competence is very low please take time to review procedures with your night staff. read more

I have reviewed McAlister's before at other locations. I've always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. This McAlister's is definitely a Jeffersonville McAlister's. I have yet to visit without seeing someone I know from Jeff. It's the local gathering place. So, good location, good people and good service. Exceptionally clean. It gets crowded after church, and there are more than a handful of churches nearby. They will not chase you out if you are there for a while, which is nice. They will continue to offer service, too, even if you haven't ordered in a while. Very polite, too. If I had to say anything negative I would have to make something up. So, why only four stars? It's a McAlister's, not Jeff Ruby's. The food is very good, but not exceptional. Now, the tea is exceptional. The vegetarian chili is exceptional. Everything else is very good -- way above average. Perhaps softer, tastier bread would help? Maybe? I don't know. The chain, as a whole, is missing something that would put them over the top and make people turn left into McAlister's instead of right into Chick-fil-A. read more

Easily the best Deli in town. Totally puts Panera Bread to shame. The portions are excellent and the price is on par with its competitors. The inside is well kept with plenty of seating. I've been twice and each time was excellent. The "New Yorker" and Ruben sandwich were both hardy and mouth watering. I can't even remember having a better Ruben sandwich anywhere else. With their friendly service, tasty food, and solid prices I know I'll be back again and again. read more

We always order online and pick up. I like their food and drinks but it's always missing something maybe I can say not complete every time. Last time we ordered 2 cups of broccoli cheddar soup. They were same size but one was only filled 2/3 full compare to the other one. The other time was missed a pickle. Small thing but I just wish they could double check especially they have good food!
