I ordered the delicious Cuban sandwich and my daughter had the Club Sandwich to go. We loved our sandwiches and we will be back again.

I haven't been here in quite a while. My wife wanted to get a spud so we stopped in here. The food quality is still good. I had a sandwich and soup. Both were excellent. However, the pricing is out of control. I could have gone to a nicer restaurant with full table service and wider selection for the same price or slightly more. My 12" sandwich with a cup of soup was nearly $17! The sandwich was very large though. They have priced themselves out of my patronage. They also ask for tips now?! That was a nice thing they had going o for them and it's gone too. It's a shame, because the deli shop model can be strong, but it can't have prices on par with nicer restaurants. read more

Nice late lunch yesterday at this McAlisters Deli. Short line even at 1:45p but it went quickly. Very pleasant lady took my order. Was very professional and informative. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and potato salad. You serve your own iced tea and beverages now. I like this! My meal arrived with a smile. Presented well and delicious from the first bite. Horrible online order experience from McAlester's last night. First off, we frequent this location and I always order online through McAlister's website and pick up in store. First time I've ever had them combine my pick two into one container, usually I get separate containers for both items - this ended up being a mess of potato and salad (literally salad spilling over into my potato). No dressing included with my salad. No sour cream or butter with my potato (though requested). No chicken on my salad (included). My daughters order was fine, but I ended up a $14 meal that wasn't edible. I understand rising prices due to inflation, but you have to continue to offer quality food as well. We recently stopped into the McAlister's for lunch. We'd never been to this location and it was near our destination and we thought "Hey, we haven't been to this location, let's give it a shot". Having been to a number of McAlister's we figured we'd be in for a good lunch. It was a Saturday afternoon so the restaurant wasn't busy. A couple of tables were occupied, but they weren't tremendously busy. We went to the counter to order our food and I saw something that piqued my interest. While I normally get a sandwich the sign on the menu board for the Southwest Steak Spud caught my eye. I hadn't had a McAlister's baked potato in a few years, so I was immediately All In with the promise of steak and jalapeños. Except for the fact that, when I ordered it, I was told they no longer have it. *blink* But it's on the menu board. "Yes, but we haven't taken the time to take that down". OOOOkay. It's still on our menu board, but we're not selling it. I kind of take issue with that. In it's place, and since my mind was on having a baked potato, I opted for the Chicken Bacon Ranch spud. Jim was not impressed. My normal order involves the Jalapeño Turkey Crunch, either by itself or with a salad. I should have stuck with that. The restaurant itself was kept pretty clean and staff were relatively busy during our visit. Their Christmas tree was cleverly decorated with soup cups/lids hung as ornaments. It was cute and very fitting. There's a door that needs to be adjusted in the worst way. When anyone opens this door there's a very loud, annoying SCRAPE sound that accompanies it. If I was a hibernating bear it would have woken me up, it was so loud. There are other McAlister's locations around, so I find myself not compelled to visit this one again. read more

Great spot for salads and spuds! My favorite pick 2 is the savannah chopped salad with balsamic and the bacon spud with cheese and sour cream. Both the salad and spud are a good size, making it a good choice for lunch or dinner. If you love sweet tea McAlister's is known for theirs. They also make the best chocolate chip cookies in town - high is calories and worth it. Check out their menu for more salads, spuds and sandwiches. Great spot for families and kids eat free offers. I had some time to kill and noticed this McAlidter's. Thought I'd go in for a snack. Got a cookie and a strawberry lemonade, the lemonade was sweet and refreshing for a hot day. The drink size is HUGE! The sugar cookie was ok, nothing to write home about but it got the job done. Staff was nice and restaurant was clean. They had tables outside so I was able to sit out in the sun and enjoy my treats. Spent a total of $5.30, not bad considering the size of the drink. read more

McAlister's is a go to sandwich place for me, I only get the Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey and yes I would 10/10 recommended everyone! I even tried to go home and make it myself and it was just not the same. This time around I got soup instead and I would say if it was a hot or a miss it was a miss. A little salty and not enough broccoli chunks for my liking but still appetizing. This location was very clean and friendly. On the whole I like McAlister's better than Panera and eat here pretty often. This location (Middletown) is renovating, and my worst fear has come true: the drinks are now self-serve. I got a cup for tea. Two of the spigots said "sweetened", one "unsweetened". You know what's coming ... I filled up from the unsweetened spigot, but it was sweet! Yuck. (Should have tested it first, oops.) The chips that came with the chicken tortilla soup were stale; that's never happened before. I'll be back, but I hope this experience is not a harbinger of imminent decline. read more

I rarely eat at McAlister's but ended up eating here on a Saturday night because lack of planning with a bigger group with children. Their kids meals are decently priced for what you get. The staff was very friendly and accommodating- we started in one booth and ended up having to move right as our food came out because one of the kids spilled their drink. They waited patiently with our food as we got all 5 kids moved to a new booth and weren't upset about the spilled drink all over the floor. I'm sure they have spilled drinks often, but it was refreshing to not have employees rolling their eyes, etc. when the kid were being louder, and spilling food/drinks. The food got out fairly quickly considering it was dinner time and there were white a few people inside. There's outdoor seating which is always fun, especially now that the fall weather is here! read more

Mcallisters Deli is pretty reliable. They are accurate and friendly. The food is even really good for takeout. My biggest gripes are the cost and the online ordering. The price are a little inflated for what you get. $6 for a plain potato. Nearly $8 for a sandwich. Add a few bucks for drink and a tip and you're on your way to a thr bill from a casual dine in restaurant without the beer. Second, online ordering. It's a great concept. I love doing it. It should be convenient. However, they do not have a separate line for online orders. When I arrived, i could see my food was boxed and bagged and ready to take out, but I had to wait in line like everyone else. Luckily, it wasn't busy so the wait want long, but it's the principal of the thing. If it seems like 2 stars is a harsh rating for some picked nits, you're right. The issue here is that they. literally serve nothing that I can't make better at home. At Mcallisters, I'm paying for convenience and that makes the restaurant a general no go except for emergencies like tonight. read more

We came here because in the Covid times they have outdoor seating and it was a beautiful day today. I must say that the took a minute or two to get to our order but the gal that took our order was very friendly and very efficient and got everything right and the food was delicious. I had a club sandwich was very good and I really like the chicken tortilla soup! My wife had a ham melt in the potato salad which were both very good. I got a unsweet Arnold Palmer which I believe they have fresh lemonade and fresh tea for which I like! Definitely recommend it. read more

I love the comforting food at McAlister's, and this location in particular has always been stellar. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food is always fresh and delicious. They have outdoor seating for COVID times, and when restaurants were open the did a good job of spacing out tables. McAlister's does take out very well- they do curbside pickup, and have a table for takeout orders by the door. Let me start out by saying "Service/Packaging" of food could be just a important as quality, taste and price of the items your selling: in this case it's food. Overall: meal was great, service was friendly and within a few minutes I had my meal. The good: food was excellent to taste, the same as if I went to any number of other chains, as should be expected. I had the chicken chipotle melt and the fire roasted vegetables. Both tasted great~ no soft drink, I asked for a water and also received a pickle slice. Both to be as expected. I was also asked the same " can I get you anything else" line as they provided my food to me. Also nice to know they give the same curtesy was present to me as other diners ( I listen to my surroundings~). The bad: nothing was bad actually! The ugly: I added this line (from "The Movie") because of plating of food/preparation. The cup of soup was spilled on the plate, either when placing it in the cup bk in the kitchen or in transit to my table. The food construction of the melt also was miss matched. I say that because when I bite into it, chicken was on one side and cheese/sauce to another. Even distribution (or as close as you can get it) is key for any sandwich. If not, it can throw the whole meal experience off even if it is "great food". Presentation is very important, be you a chain store or five star restaurant because it paints a picture of your staff, your product placement and how you carry your business. Yes...this all came from food, but you would present this in a commercial for your business, now would you? I think not. Bottom line: great experience and I recommend management coach on those two items if they read these things. Otherwise, I am only making folks aware and what is to be expected. My tennis team stopped here on our way to a match. We ordered ahead, and our team is pretty small so we didn't disrupt the space very much. They got all of our orders right, but they were disrespectful to us the whole time we were there. Out of towner eating here for the first time. Nice interior. A little nicer than your typical fast food chain type of place and thankfully cleaner. Quick and friendly service. I had a Cobb salad and it was so good when I was done I threw the bowl across the joint and then jumped on the tables screaming. Well, maybe not, but I was close. Excellent salad, huge portion. I'm a fan. This is a solid place to go for lunch if you're craving a soup, salad or sandwich. We stopped by today and I ordered the turkey Cobb sandwich with potato salad. Both were good. I don't normally get potato salad, but the cashier recommended it and it was great. My SO got the club sandwich, which he rates a B, and mashed potatoes that he gave a C+. I think the only drawback was the portion size of the sides. The sandwiches were plenty filling though, so we didn't leave hungry. As chain restaurant food goes, this is one of the better options! I particularly enjoy their spud max, it is loaded with cheese, ham, green onions, black olives and is huge!! I always have to save half for another meal or share with a friend because it is that big! This particular location is always clean and the employees are friendly and efficient. We were not offered a drink refill one single time the entire time we were there. Two female employees stationed at the registers did not move out to help cater the tables when they had no lines. People are still friendly, but understaffed. Sign on the door: "Hiring now." One of two Memphian sandwiches had very little roast beef. Only 1 of 3 sandwiches were worth the price. Went there for a late lunch. The staff was nice and it was pretty clean for the most part. The broccoli cheddar soup was really good. The French dip was okay and I probably wouldn't order it again. Always enjoyed coming here after church on Sunday's. Even though the menu rarely changes, I always find something different to eat with eat visit. Last visit I had the Savannah salad-so good! Very disappointed in the customer service. We arrived around 8pm on Father's Day after driving across country and wanting something to eat other than burgers and fries. Just wanted to make a to go order but with only 1 customer in front if us we still hadnt placed an order after being there for 15 minutes. The staff seemed to be clueless as the people in front of us were trying to place an order but the employee kept having to go in the back to check to see if they had it. Other employees were walking in the front behind the counter but no one offered any assistance. Very disappointed as this is normally one of my favorite restaurants to eat at, however this location was not a good one. We did call the manager and explained the situation of what happened. After waiting in line for 15 minutes because of lady purchasing gift cards....4 registers open and 4 people standing behind the counter..:only two other people in line.
