I believe their problem is upper management is lacking. Does not appear to be (every) employees fault for this store being so miserable. Lunch took about an hour to order and eat. Bathrooms weren't working. There was no soap in the bathroom. There wasn't a trash can in the bathroom. There one person taking orders. And I can imagine she's paid hourly, no rush whatsoever. Do NOT order a fruit cup. Fruit had to be no less than 10 days old. Blackberries were mushy, pineapple was rotten, and strawberries were WHITE. They had no water pressure so you couldn't get a water to drink but you could get a tea, somehow. They left my order on the window, when I went to retrieve they said they'd bring it to me. Just defeats the whole purpose of ever coming back here. Cannot believe what I witnessed at such an expensive sandwhich shop.

    This is the McAlister's Club

The food was nothing special, it was just kind of bland and it just didn't taste amazing. The lady at the front was nice, but got a asked to leave a tip for a cashier which doesn't make sense to me. The ambiance was decent it had some chill music playing and the interior was nice. Would probably not go back even if it was a decent price at 10 dollars.

I normally don't write bad reviews but thought this should be said. I ordered the French dip from a call. They told me to pick up in 15 minutes and so I was there in that time. When I got home and open package I noticed that my meat and cheese was primarily on only one side of the sandwich. alternatively the meat and cheese were cold. I called back and asked if they could help, they gladly said that they would remake the sandwich. I drove back up and picked up a new one and when I opened it it looked good hot and fresh. Unfortunately as I begin eating the sandwich there were two large chunks of fat in the new sandwich. I would assume that after remix and a sandwich they would have taken better care to make sure that this one would be a carefully put together sandwich that would not have any issues, none the less I still found myself picking it apart and pulling out thick chunks of roast beef. The customer service was good but the sandwich was not. I'll probably give them another try but I'm disappointed from this visit..

They have no name tags. Balding old lady in black shirt was a raging beotch. I attended the restaurant with an acquaintance, she has a few allergies, which isn't the end of the world. We asked what products didn't contain what she was allergic to and she just pointed to the menu and said they're marked. We explained how some of her allergies weren't on the menu, then she pulled out a book of nutrition facts. She told us we were wasting her time, but afterwards she just stood in front of the soda machine while no sodas were being ordered, doing nothing. The food here is great, but she really ruined the experience :(

Went to drive through but was told they DON'T take orders at Drive Through ! Wtf ?? Lol Apparently you have to go around & park & get off & go inside & order or go back around park & place order online then go back around to drive through AGAIN & pick up - Dumbest thing ever ! I will never go back !! I was only doing a friend a favor

I can excuse the slow service. I guess you take care of those in the dining room first before preparing take out orders? But let me remind you it was takeout orders that kept you afloat during the pandemic. But the place is filthy too..

Not what I ordered and missing mustard and the ham.

I like this place just fine. The sandwiches are Ok - nothing to write home about, but one cannot beat the $0.99 kid's meals!!

This place is yummy. It can get a little pricier for a sandwich, but it's worth it. Try the French dip! Yummm.

The parking lot was packed. I had to park kind of near the smelly dumpster and an unsightly view of a trashy lake or pond. So when my daughters and I walked in, we were not greeted. We snaked around the long horizontal pole meant to form a line. The chick at the register did not to be in that position. She was not nice. Did not listen. Was not courteous. It took about 25 minutes for our food to be ready. Your receipt will show the same number that should pop up on the number readers either above the meal counter or in the dining room near a TV. Here's what we ordered: Green chile cheeseburger ($11.49) Cheeseburger mayo only ($10.99) Bacon cheeseburger with ketchup added ($12.99) Large fries ($4.99) Small fried jalapenos ($5.79) 2 regular fountain drinks (2 @ $2.89) The patties were fairly thick. My daughter received several pieces of bacon on her burger. She was happy about that. The green chile was definitely on the very mild side. I loved it, but the juices saturated my burger when I dumped the cup on there. Soggy burgers are not fun. My bad. I didn't count that against them. The fries were really good. The jalapenos had a kick! The Coca Cola was super flat. My daughter let me try it when I was shocked by her admission about it. Lol. The dining rooms can get a bit loud. I could not hear my kids half of the time. Felt like an old timer. But it could have been that we sat between the food counter where you pick up your food tray and the soda fountains. Congested! It was the only table available at the time! Still, the entire staff seemed a bit moody. I did not appreciate that. The restrooms were decently cleaned. Overall, though, I don't think I'll be back.

The space itself is adorable--think industrial loft vibes with exposed brick, warm wood accents, and that cozy, slightly artsy feel you get from an old brick building repurposed just right. It's the kind of place that feels calm and intimate, especially tucked into a quieter downtown pocket that gives off small-city charm in the best way. I ordered a loose-leaf green tea (I won't even attempt to pronounce the name), brewed French-press style, and it was so good--earthy, smooth, and surprisingly reminiscent of crispy rice mixed with green tea. Warm, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. My husband went with an Americano, which was solid and well-balanced. They do offer food and small bites, but what really stood out was how community-forward the space feels. There's local artwork displayed throughout the café, all available for purchase, along with curated retail items like tallow products, cool tees, and other thoughtful little finds you don't usually see in a coffee shop. Between the cozy industrial atmosphere, quality drinks, and strong support of local artists and makers, Nashville Cafe feels less like a quick coffee stop and more like a place you actually want to linger. And flies are buzzing around everywhere. I order and while ordering I say, "Hey what can be done about these flies to keep them away from me and off my food when it arrives". The answer, "that's because it's summer and we leave our door open, we have a salt gun but we can't use it when customers are here." "So... what is done to keep flies under control and away from my food?" I look around and see no deterrents hanging or placed, nothing. I just received a phone emoji worthy white man shrugging face. This place doesn't even have a fly swatter or flip flop from an angry Mom. The Sweet and Spicy burger arrives. It was good enough. Just so that you know FIFA WC soccer was on. Ivory Coast was up on Curaçao 2-0 and Germany was tied up with Ecuador 1-1 in a close and better elimination game. The audio for the bar was for the CIV v CUW. I was interested in the Germany v Ecuador game so I asked, "can we get the audio to the GvE game?" "No, those two ladies (only two other patrons in the bar) are watching the game being played/heard.". "No problem", I say. Meanwhile the women are talking super fast and weren't even taking breathes enough to hear the broadcast nor looking at the TVs. In my head I thought, man I don't write reviews often but this would be an epic one star. But decided chill out, and not. I finish my burger and beer and about with :15 mins left in the match the bartender changes the audio (to GvE) which is met with applause by the women, and an inner smile by me. Ecuador scores almost instantly as they pound on the table and stand on their stools, as if they were on Bourbon Street and things could get very interesting. Hmmm, I think to myself. These damn women are Ecuadorian. So what's with thinking they were Curaçaoian? Or am I to believe they didn't give two about looking at the Curaçao game and suddenly became super fans when the Ecuador game was turned on audio. Honestly. Did he miss the mark that much? Sure did. Anywho, the check arrives at the burger menu priced at $13 comes up as $13.83 and the pints are also like $9.odd amount like $9.81 or something. The total is $33.blah blah. I hand over my card but ask, "what's with the strange pricing? The menu says $8 for each item." "Oh let me check...oh yeah it because the menu lists cash prices and so if you pay cash, you get that price, if not you pay this price." WTH!!! Maybe that's listed on the menu. But a 10% service charge on beer to cover a what 3-4% Visa fee. Man, please be overcharging to buy some fly swatters or hanging stank away bags. So yeah, 1-star.
