Check your orders! Twice in a row the person at the cash register has correctly entered my order and twice I was given an incorrect order. A couple weeks ago I built my own sandwich and requested the tomato,lettuce and cheese on it. Got charged extra for the cheese and when I got back to my office I had meat and bread. Today I ordered a southwest Cobb salad and tomato soup- came back with a taco salad and chili! I ordered for a friend and they'd run out of tea tumblers and couldn't take her gift card do to system problems. Have to say I'm a bit leery that anything positive will happen because my name is on a list for a free meal. To me that's an easy cop out - take 2 minutes and send a coupon. We did a benefit for "Wrestling for a Cure!", for St Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The staff and management were great. The food was excellent. I'll be going back soon. I had the New Yorker which has both pastrami and corned beef on rye. It was tasty but I would have preferred all corned beef which is my favorite. read more

This is a great deli restaurant! I had the Savannah Chopped Salad with a cup of Roasted Vegetable Soup. My husband got the New Yorker sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes. All of it was great! I decided to get dessert, and my husband went to the counter for a Chocolate Lovin' Spoonful cake for himself and Colossal Carrot Cake for me. I'm not sure what happened to him but he ordered me the New York Cheesecake. It showed up looking amazing, but it wasn't what I wanted! It was not a problem, though. They exchanged it without a fuss. Then, Troy the manager, sent us home with it anyway and chatted with us a while. We felt like family! We are excited to go back for more! read more

We love this place! Food is delicious, fresh and decently priced. I like the selection of sandwiches and soups. My toddler really liked sharing my soup/sandwich. We consistently have great drive-thru service and food from this McAlisters. We have never been disappointed. The sandwiches are delicious, the Mac and Cheese is pretty good, and the salads are wonderful. I don't love the potatoes. The tea is yummy! The workers are always friendly! read more

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE! Let's talk about today's experience, I am 1000% empathetic to the workforce and the staff shortage, however. The way they treat other people's time is ridiculous. The line was entered at 12:22. Finally arriving at the window to pay, AUTUMN was rude!!!! After waiting 45 minutes! NO FOOD. I ask AUTUMN how much longer she told me 15 minutes. After realizing it would be pointless to get a refund, I continued to wait for my food, only for the manager to come out and ask about a refund! I asked the manager to please get my food. The manager was nice. But this continues to be an ongoing issue. What is macalister's doing? Nothing, absolutely NOTHING to rectify this terrible service. An apology is great the first time, but after the 5th time, this is the level of service they offer. McDonald's service at Macalister's, you guys. Good luck getting good service here. I have had TERRIBLE SERVICE too many times. I should stop going back, and you guys should too! read more

Had lunch there today. They were not overly busy. I ordered the 1/2 BLT&A and a cup of the Country Potatoe soup. It took 25 minutes to get my food. The soup was luke warm with none of the toppings and the bacon on the sandwich was room temp. You could feel the grease on it. This is my second bad experience in the past several months. I didn't realize that McAlister's Deli was a national chain until I walked in. They receive two stars for the quaint ambiance and wonderful customer service. However their food is mediocre at best. I ordered the Reuben without sauerkraut. Since they advertise it as a "hot" sandwich I was expecting to receive it as a hot grilled sandwich made with authentic corned beef. Instead I received a Reuben sandwich that was made with pressed or "fake" corned beef that had been heated up in a microwave. Half of my sandwich was ice cold and the other half was scalding hot. A complete disappointment. My sister had ordered their tomato bisque soup which was once again heated in their microwave because half her soup was ice cold and the other half was scalding hot. It was the same story with the macaroni and cheese that she ordered. I refuse to frequent restaurants or delis that cook their food in a microwave. It always has inedible results. So my sister and I will never return to McAlister's Deli. read more

This was my first trip to this deli. The food was amazing. Very reasonably priced, and very high-quality. Presentation of the food was outstanding. My only complaint, if any, would be that he was a little crowded. That is of course due to being busy, which is good. But with the way it's set up, you order at the counter, then go find a seat. They could, and probably will, potentially sell guests that aren't able to be seated. Had that been our case, this review would've gone much differently. If you like deli food, but I would definitely recommend this place. If you're not into sandwiches and salads, not much else offered here. read more

Good stuff, I tried probably the most problematic item on their menu... The large baked potato. I was excellent, baked right and TASTY. Got a bite of my wife's sandwich - very good. My first visit here was decent. Food quality and presentation were good. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. I decided to return yesterday craving the horseradish beef and cheddar from my first visit. The employee taking my sandwich order had an uncaring attitude as he informed me that they were out of the ciabatta bread that the roast beef usually comes on and recommended the croissant. Fine. Went to order the Mac and cheese for my side but they were out of that also. Cole slaw it is. Got my food and headed home only to find a laughably tiny portion of cole slaw and a sloppy, sad looking sandwich. No cheddar or horseradish on it! I guess they were "out" of those items as well. The service is awesome they have so much too choose from. The seating and placement will accommodate to your needs. The food was great and tasted like it just got done cooking. They go around and ask you for complimentary drink refills which I prefer is exquisite. Overall I would give it ten stars. read more

Great Deli, I have eaten in several across the midwest and none have disappointed! I love their Cranberry Orange Club and their sweet tea, and the chocolate cake is awesome. This one even has a drive through which I have not seen before. Try it out! read more

Most of the McAlister's Deli's I have been to in the Midwest and down south have been awesome. Love the variety on the menu and they by far, hands down have the best tea in the country! I usually get half and half. They also offer flavorings to add such as peach, etc....I have a tumbler cup which by the way they will be offering again on March 17th and you can get .99 cent refills on future visits with your cup. Just wish I could serve myself with the tea. My favorite sandwich is the McAlister's club. Like the chef salad with honey mustard dressing too. So many options and for the price, not having to bus your own table or tip it's a great healthy value. read more
