I have a lot of experience with MANY mechanic shops around town and I will say , Temple Hill has not disappointed me yet. I've taken a couple of my vehicles there and the job was done right . Labor costs are reasonably priced compared to MANY other locations and the turn around time has always been convenient for us. The first time I stopped by , I was also greeted with a stern welcome but as you will see they are inundated with work. I believe this is a family owned business. All the men are very similar in some aspects. There is one gentleman there that seems very grumpy most times yet another when he recognizes you will say hello with his big smile. There's a one that sits in the office making things happen behind the computer and probably a handful if not more in the back. The 2 women there are professional and as nice as one could expect them to be working with at least 10 men, I don't know how they manage. I have one at home and that's enough for me ‍. But what you will see is that they all work together productively. What you'll find here is honest hard work. We don't see this anymore and it can be hard to recognize for our younger generations. Strictly business is what you will receive here. There no time to sit and chew the fat folks! They will not mislead you to believe you need something additional to what the targeted issue is. It's always best to set an appointment and that's everywhere. I will continue to take my vehicles here no matter how far the distance, which for me now is 40 mins They are worth it! read more

Had a service engine light show up on my car. An old work associate use to have Temple Hill work on his vehicles so based on his recommendation I made appointment to have them check out the car. Took my truck for a simple oil change. Drove it all over town it smelled a little funny but I just blew it off. I went to go see a movie with my wife and noticed a wet spot under the truck. When I got home I crawled under to find oil everywhere!!!! I popped the hood and check zero oil is in the engine and a lot of black burnt stuff on the oil cap. No telling how much damage is done to my truck from this bullshit. I'm going back in the morning but only to fix what they broke. read more

I discovered that Temple Hill was just patching up my car and I kept going back for repairs that they should have repaired at time of original visit for power steering noise. They added a little fluid stopped the noise, then couple weeks back in for power steering they installed serpentine hose? $200 next day stopped running on short errand had it towed to Temple Hill said it needed tuneup ok $500. Literally two days towed back to Temple Hill , yes Mam, needs fuel pump, power steering pump. Well that is the end of our relationship Temple Hill. ( btw an individual fixed the fuel problem with a 75cent bolt under the gas pedal.) Be cautious folks! read more

Bad attitude and slow. They would forget about my car until I called and then miraculously the oil would be changed 20 minutes later. And the lady at the front desk acts like she hates life and takes it out on you. Unfortunately there's few other mechanics in the area. read more

I went in for a car inspection I was waiting to get helped for more then 10 minutes, they finally said well the person who does the inspection is in the restroom. So I still decided to wait since I was already there for a while, still nothing until a WHITE MAN walks in, the man in the restroom walks out & didn't want to still help me!!! THEY ARE SO RACIST HERE! The old man was so rude by the time he got In my car he told my wife that was sitting in the car "hello you need to get out!"Like she was grabbing her purse just PURE RUDENESS!!! My car was making a strange sound so I took it to Temple Hill to see what the issue was. Apparently, my driver side wheel bearing was the issue. James was very welcoming and friendly and he made sure to get my car taken care of very promptly. My car was only in the shop for a day and a half which is pretty awesome considering how long some of these repairs can take. I am very satisfied with the work and the customer service experience. Had a problem with my 08 kia sedona. Thought it was the alternator but ended up being an electrical problem. My normal mechanic buddy couldn't figure it out so with several reliable recommendations from other mechanics I took it to Temple Hill. James at TH took a look and called me with what the problem was. Only thing I had to wait on is the dealer only part. Other than that, labor cost was very reasonable and James was great to work with. We had Ford ranger 1994 towed to garage. We were having a front end problem. They had truck for almost a week with no call. We called them and were told nothing was found, that should have been our que to go pick it up. Whom ever my friend talked to was told it could be a problem with brakes. I gave her the call to go ahead because she's the one that wanted it repaired to begin with. They had it for a few more days and called to say it was ready. When we went to pick it up I stayed outside because I didn't want to know how much it cost. Remember it's a 25 year old truck. i drove it home when I got on freeway the steering was no different it pulls to the right which I told them steering wheel wasn't centered. They also had a.c. controls on and it's obvious a.c. doesn't work don't know if this could have caused damage. I think these people were grasping at straws to find something wrong and get some money out of us. We've used this garage before but never again. We still have we a truck that I feel is not safe to drive. read more

Ok, Don't take your car to this establishment. Bad Service. -First of all was not clear on Problems with car. -Each time i called to check on car was told i would get a call back, Not! -Was told it would cost $589 to fix the car and then told later it would be $894 to fix. -Was told the car was ready, So I took a cab down to pick-up the car, my bad! Out $60 bucks for the cab because i thought the car was fixed. -Walk to the counter, the women behind the desk were really cool. welcome me with open arms, so it seems. Paid the $894 dollars. -Walk out the door smiling cause the car is fixed, so i thought. Before i could get to the car the mechanic comes out and says, If your oil light comes on you might want to pull over. I'm like what! Is the car fixed and his response was jibber Jabber @ this point because i was led to blelieve it was fixed. You would think a mechanic would fix a car completely are let you know before you come to pick up the car what the real problems are. completely fix the car before you go to pick it up, not there. I drive off wondering ok what did he mean and just as I get half way home, guess what the oil light comes on and the car starts smoking and shuts down. A very sad day for me. Is this what it has come down to. Am i wrong r was i dooped. Please let me know. read more

I took my SUV there, a friend referred me there, they kept it sitting on it day after day. Everytime I called or went by there, there were very cold and unresponsive. After two weeks, they said they couldn't fined anything wrong with it, they just added a quart of Lucus and it was fixed. I drove it off and a few days later my SUV was shaking all over the place, it broke down worst. Bad bad shop. read more
