Absolutely the worst McDonald's in Ann Arbor they never have anything they don't even keep ketchup out for customers. The staff is very rude and treats you like your an inconvenience. Don't ever come here during night shift, this is not an isolated incident, this happens literally every night, it's like the workers are intentionally driving customers away. You can sit at the drive thru order station for 20 minutes and they don't even say please hold or sorry, you just endlessly sit til a worker feels like taking your order or give up. It's ridiculous how you have to wait to be 1 of the 3 orders they'll take an hour. Then you get the honor of waiting another 15-30 minutes to pay, and another 15-30 minutes for them to make the food. Making your fast food trip into a sit down restaurant that wastes 2 gallons of gas. All those employees should be fired on the spot. read more

Theres a counter girl, expo worker there named Chelsea who usually doesn't work the register but preps the food to go out on trays. She has this habit of reaching for the drink cups and instead of handling them by the outside, puts her fingers INSIDE the cup with only her thumb on the exterior of the cup. This is seriously the worst McDonald's. If I could give no stars, I would. Every time I go through the drive up, I have to wait minimum 3 minutes before ordering--for no apparent reason. I only get 3 things from Mickey D's: pop, oatmeal, and fries. None of which take longer than 1 minute, if that, to grab. They don't say hello, thank you, bye, have a good day-nothing. Rarely give me my receipt. Therefore, I stopped saying thank you back. I only go here when I don't have time to go out of my way to a completely different McDonald's. Well today was a fail!!! I put in an order through the mobile app in hopes of picking up my order without any issues through the drive through. Got there and told them the code through the speaker. The person verified my order and had asked me to pull forward. First window the lady said to go ahead to the second window since I had a mobile order. Everything was going well so far. Got to the second window and this lady was handing me a drink I did not order. I told her that's not what I had ordered. She said with an attitude "Well what did you order?" When I was explaining to her that I had a mobile order she had the guts to tell me "hurry up it's cold". At this point, I'm ready to smack her in the mouth but I had held it in. She finally figured it out and had ask me to park at the "reserve for drive-thru parking." I didn't wait long for my food to be delivered and sure enough it was her again. I asked if everything was there and replied "yes everything is there and gotta get back in." This is the thing I absolutely HATE when someone reassures you and then there's always something missing or not right with your order. I was missing an apple juice for my son's Happy Meal. So probably a couple minutes had passed by now and I'm getting out of the car to go inside and complain. Normally, this is not a big deal as first job was at McDonald's and I can understand that it get busy from time to time. BUT when I see that same person sneaking a smoke in the cold and was in hurry putting out the cigarette on the side of the building when she saw me coming, that just frustrating. I was going to talk to the manager but there's was a lot of people waiting for their food and I was not about to make them wait longer because I have an issue with one of their employee. I do however hope the managers will see this and think about how they can improve their service. How are you going to make sure your employee has the right attitude when it comes to service? Like I said before this is my first job and attitude has to do a lot with how you provide service. As an employee, it is your responsibility/patience to make your customers happy regardless how crappy you feel. In these type of job, you have to always assume customers is right and if something is off, it is the manager's job to handle that. When you tell your customer to "hurry up" because you are cold, then have time to sneak a smoke break IN THE COLD and can't get the order perfect, you are in the wrong. You either need more guidance or shouldn't be there because there are people probably more deserving of that job you currently hold. read more

My first review because this location is soooo bad Without a doubt; the worst McDonalds I have gone too. They are incredibly unorganized and unprofessional. The staff just giggles and cuts up with each other instead of taking your order. Worst McDonald's ever. I ordered a latte via the app. I've used the app many times and have had few issues. I pulled up to the McDonald's drive thru (a new location for me as I was going to my kids ball game). The guy at the speaker was nice but had no idea what to do when I said "I have mobile order no. SB25". So we had a little laugh and I said "maybe you will figure it out when I pull up." I pull up to window #1 she confirmed my order as a burger etc. Whoa gotta stop you there I have the mobile order. It's just a latte. She said she was going to check up front. She was gone for several minutes and returned and gave me my receipt. Now window no. 2. Nobody is there several minutes. I see a worker looking around for something and I see a car pulled ahead waiting for their order. She finally appears outside and gives them their stuff and another woman appears. I watch her work on a vanilla shake. She opens the window and attempts to hand it to me. "What is this?" She said "Your vanilla shake". Um no, and now I'm pissed. "Are you freaking kidding me? That is NOT what I ordered!" She said "Well I don't know what you ordered and no reason to be snippy!" and now I'm super pissed and said more words. She handed me my latte and said "Do NOT have a nice day." Whole flippin' ordeal took 10 minutes and they were not even busy. Latte was lukewarm so it had been ready for a while. This is not rocket science people. I complained to corporate. I asked to be contacted by the manager but I doubt that will happen. Never going back there again. In contrast the McDonald's by my home is awesome. Mobile order? No problem. Workers are nice and well trained. The Washtenaw location is a joke. Update: I received a reply from the customer service manager. He assured me he will work with the staff to correct the situation. My issue is his sentence "Sorry you feel that we let you down." Then waiting 25 minutes for my simple order i decide to go up there and check on it as i am becoming angered. Every time I go to this McDonald's after the morning crew leaves the service is terrible! The nighttime manager is horrendous, always asking customers to wait 15 minutes for their food, and for food that isn't even fresh! I've had far too many cold chicken nuggets and chewy cheeseburgers. I've always returned because its on my way to work but never again... terrible. When you call with a complaint, they are never helpful, and the majority of the staff is very rude. I stopped here on a Thursday around 1:30pm. I was kind of hesitant due to fast food places not being good around this time, since the food has usually been sitting and turns out to be cold. I went to the drive thru and the woman who took my order was very friendly and welcoming. Both women who were at the windows were nice. My McNuggets were VERY HOT & FRESH. My fries were decent, they were a little cold but nothing unbearable. & my McDouble was hot and fresh also. I have no complaints. read more

Should've check yelp before driving thru. To be fair, I did not wait long in the drive thru, but it was very poorly organized. I ordered my food and was told to pay at the first window, pulled up to the first window and no one was there. I waited a short time (until the car in front of my left the second window) and the proceeded to the second window. I was greeted with a check on what my order was followed by a "you already paid right?" I should've said yes, considering what was to follow, but I'm not that guy and I was honest, told him no, o had not paid. My bill was $15.44, I gave him $20.45. Then I got my food and was told my change would be right out. The bag seemed proportioned properly, so I did not look inside (shame on me..) Then the first guy came back with my change of $5 (rounded, and not in my favor..) whatever, it's a penny, but it should've been a red flag as to how things are done there, short changed if you will.. I got home and found that my chicken tenders were acceptable, but the fries I ordered were not only cold, they were also only half filled. I've just gotten off the phone with the complaint department at corporate and demanded a refund for at least the lackluster fries. I may adjust my review if I get said refund (I'm not going to hold my breath on that, however). This location should be avoided like the plague. Let my experience be a lesson to you. read more

This was back in August of 2016. It took us almost 25 minutes to get two orders of fries and a fruit smoothie one afternoon. My husband was second in line, there was no one seated and eating, and only one car in the drive thru when we pulled up (I was sitting in the car and could see that this was the case). Once the man in front of him was served, the person at the cash register walked away and did other tasks, and my husband was inexplicably ignored for at least five minutes. There were seven staff members in the store that day, randomly milling about (no one seemed to have a particular job). Someone might put the fries on, only to abandon that and start sweeping. The fry machine would beep when done for a good two minutes because everyone ignored it. One man came in after my husband put in his order and left after about ten minutes of waiting. We almost gave up ourselves. If it was busy, I could understand having to wait a bit. But there was just NO reason for it. It was a horrible experience. read more
