Okay, so as far as McDonalds go, food is actually good. However, it takes FOREVER for ANYTHING, Ice Cream is never available because the "machine is down" 24/7, and if you try to do anything through DoorDash expect an hour wait at least for your order. I really hope that management sees this, because I don't know if the restaurant is just short handed, or if motivation and work ethic is in short-supply, but changes need to be made. I was waiting at the mcdonalds line for 30 minutes with a very long line behind me. The workers yelled at us outside while taking the trash out and enjoying a smoke break noting that they were closed. It was in fact, not closed, and it seemed to be that the workers just simply wanted an early night off. I found this unacceptable given the fact that every time I come to this mcDonalds I end up spending no less than 30 minutes in like even if I am the 3rd car in line. I will also note that the workers at the drive thru greet their customers with a foul attitude and almost always forget something that is ordered. This is a campus McDonalds with very hungry college students after long study sessions, and I expected more from the Auburn family and my favorite restaurant. I will avoid this restaurant for the remainder of my time in Auburn and would really appreciate seeing officials finally cease to overlook these workers inappropriate attitude and acknowledge the absurd work ethic of the people they poorly choose to hire. read more

Doesn't look like they care if you get the right order. took 15 minutes and I had already paid. They told me to wait by the rail, but 4-5 people from behind passed me by the time I finally got my order. If you're in a rush or hate dealing with lazy customer service, don't come here. read more

how is this location still open after the constant horrible reviews?? Went in to order some food yesterday at 7:30pm. Door was open so went in only to be greeted by a rude worker who states I can't order inside I can only go through the drive through. I am a college student at Auburn and I do not have a car. I live on campus and have everything I need without having a vehicle. I would give this location minus 100 stars if I could. I mean what Mickey Ds close their inside at 7:30pm on a Friday night?? I can't begin to tell you how horrible this location is. The few times I have gotten food from here it was always wrong. McDonalds how can you leave this location as one of your franchises??? Ah yes wonderful McDonald's, just the thing you need when hungry in the late hours of the night. Well don't go to the McDonald's on Magnolia. First off their closing hours are a total guessing games. I'm not talking about crazy times either I'm talking like they were closed at 10:00 on a Friday night. If you do happen to get there when the workers are still taking orders, they are most likely out of over 50% of everything on the menu. And to end it off you are guaranteed to have rude service, a long wait, and god knows you have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting warm fries. This is possibly the worst fast food place I've been to in my life. It takes longer than a sit-down restaurant to get McNuggets that are already cooked. You can't overstate how bad the service is-- it can take over 30 minutes to get food that you can see behind the counter. This McDonald's needs work. The lady taking my order didn't say a word to me when I walked up and looked annoyed when I ordered and paid cash. When I got over to the drink machines one was out ice, both were out of about half of their drinks. The sweet tea was 2 hours past it's use by time so I asked them behind the counter if they had any tea at the drive through again they looked annoyed. There were at least 8 employees there and only 2 visibility working. In the 30 minutes I was there no one attempted to make new tea even after I told them it was past it's use by time. My food was fine. Not cold but not fresh. I won't be back to this McDonald's any time soon. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED. I pull up to the mic, I say, can I get an Oreo McFlurry. Lady says, hold on. She then says, okay, Oreo McFlurry, 1st window. I'm like wait can I make that a regular. She then goes, uh huh 1st window. Then I say, okay I'm not done yet, can I get a medium fry. She goes, 1st window. So I creep up to the window wondering if she got the medium fry part. She did. So I pay at window 1 and proceed to window 2. The gentleman, who has balls of steel, hands me an Oreo McFlurry less than half full (roughly 40%). I hand it back to the guy and I'm like, dude there's barely any McFlurry. He goes, oh sorry about that, and proceeds to take it back to the McFlurry machine where he stays for 3 minutes. He returns with the McFlurry. This time around, it's still 40% full but it has some sad looking, watery whipped cream that looked like it was squirted in the inside of the cup only to run down into the frozen Oreo mixture. At this point I'm just blown away that he had the audacity to hand me the very same, crying shame of a McFlurry. I'm floored. I can't believe this. What has happened???? THE SAME AMOUNT OF MCFLURRY. What should I say? What could I say? I just fumbled and looked. Id been played the fool before but not like this. Not to this degree. An insult. He then hands me my medium fries in typical greasy and soggy fashion. He said thank you. I said thank you and made me hasty departure to write this review, not but 10 minutes after. Heed my warning: The McDonalds on Magnolia in downtown Auburn is the absolute scum of eatery establishments of the fast food regime with the most vile of staff. She kept looking back at me I guess in hopes I'd go away by the manger walks by and didn't offer to help me! Usually good service in the morning, but horrible after that. Employees are incredibly lazy. Today I ordered two iced lattes. I get to the window and I'm handed two cups that are meant for hot coffee. I open the lids and there's no ice, so I tell the girl at the window I ordered an ice coffee. She looks at me and says, "The ice melted," and she turns away. Do not recommend.
