Not sure why this McDonald's got rated so low. The reason I rated 4 outta 5 stars was that I didn't dine in. Their drive thru was very thorough, concise, professional and friendly. She would make sure that my order was correct via big screen, and again, at the pay-window. No confusion. Question were answered clearly and professionally. Whoever manages this franchise had done a very good job. They both deserved a raise. It was in the desert; so, not much to see in terms of scenery. Furthermore, I was on my way to the sin city; so, a brief stop over in this McDonald's & was treated by a low paid professional gave me a rather humble experience. read more

Finally approached counter and was told that they didn't know I was there and had order behind counter. I had been standing there for 5 mins and never asked if I needed help. They don't have digital display like other McDonald's have.. So BUG them because they won't take customer service approach to ask you. ALSO NO REFILLS HERE if you eating In. During some cross-country travel, I opted to stop at this McDonald's as opposed to the more busier one up the road in Barstow. Was that a huge mistake. Driving a U-Haul, I had to go inside to order. I ordered a quarter pound hamburger/no cheese and a small fry total $9.44!! I ordered on the kiosk and I received my number. Standing around with the other 10 people or so, I watched each of them get their orders. Including those who had come after me. I asked the sole front counter employee, who was delivering trays of food to the patrons who were seated inside. Just wondering ....Why couldn't they come up and get their own orders since this guy was a one-man show. If he wasn't delivering food, he was fiddling around in the back. Anyway, he asked his manager about my order and only then did things started moving along because I got my order within about two or three minutes. However, 15 minutes had already elapsed! I walked out to the U-Haul truck to eat it on the run only to find out they'd given me cheese on it instead. I went back in and excused my way through the line to the front to advise them about an incorrect order. The manager was alerted again and placed a burger box into my bag. Great! Walking out the door, I decided to check to make sure I didn't get another quarter pounder with cheese, and I had not. The quarter pounder hamburger was correct. However, they decided to keep my fries when I returned that previous quarter pounder with cheese. Again, I had to go back to the front of the line to ask for my fries back. Did I get new fries after waiting over 20 minutes now? absolutely not! Because nobody was out in front again, I decided to say screw it. This whole episode lasted close to 25 minutes. For a simple quarter pounder, hamburger and small fries. It is no wonder McDonald's is losing profits big time. Not to mention, some elderly couples came into order at the front desk and were told by the sole Front counter employee that he would not take their order. They had to use the kiosk. Two different couples walked out after having their request to order refused. Kiosk only! There goes another 50 bucks McDonald's lost in those few minutes. He couldn't take anybody's order, but he gave the bathroom combination number to at least eight separate people while I stood there. Evidently, plenty of time to do that! Just post the door code and free this guy up to do some actual work. This place was the pits! Don't bother! Hit the busier McDonald's in Barstow. It'll probably take less time. I called McDonald's customer service on their 800 line and was told the franchise owner or their representative would contact me. That didn't happen either. read more

We always stop here on our way home from Vegas. What a mess! No more customer service here! Cutting costs has cut good service for sure. It was slow and crowded. The "do it yourself" kiosk wasn't working correctly so it didn't print receipts. The young male that had to find the order had an attitude like it was the customers fault. It just made for an unpleasant experience. There was a homeless man and his dog sleeping in the men's restroom stall. And the ladies restroom was closed for cleaning with a line to the entry door. Don't go here if you want actual service. We ordered 3 large fries and got 3 but were charged for 4. We also ordered 20 nuggets which we didn't get and when we brought it up to someone we didn't get them until 20 minutes later and they recharged us for them. Tried to ask for ketchup but nobody was at the registers for 10 minutes; when we asked for onions, it took them another 10 minutes before we got them when we had to bring it up to someone. It's Saturday October 12, 2024 at about 1;00pm. This restaurant is very nice. It's just off I-15 south next to a Pilot travel center. It has been some time since my last visit. Last time I was not happy that they not participate in McDonald's app. So no deals from the app and no points for a purchase. This time I was happy to be able to use the app along with the perks that go with it. The first two tables we came to were dirty. My wife asked someone to clean a table for us and was given a damp towel for her to clean it. When I tried to get a refill for my soft drink, I was told that they do not have free refills. I guess being a freeway restaurant, they don't care about repeat customers. So sad. You pay people $20.00 an hour and can't keep a clean restaurant and need to cut out refills to save money. On a trip back from Las Vegas we needed a quick bite to eat and randomly selected this McDonald's for its proximity to the freeway. What impressed us was the courteous and capable employees who greeted us in the drive-thru every step of the way and even wished us happy New Year! This is the kind of customer service which seems to be lacking more and more these days. In addition, our food was served hot and cooked as expected. We've been coming to this McDonald's for years and tonight by fat was the best experience. Only rhe drive thru was open because of the time 9:50pm. I ordered via the mobile app but they couldn't recall the order so the manager (Amy) just redid my orders. She was very kind, patient and helpful with my orders. We waited 25 minutes (at 10:35 AM) in the drive thru behind a total of 4 cars for my $4.55 (after tax) Large Diet Coke. Never again.

This is not the McDonald's in the train station on Main St. This is for the one off Lenwood Rd exit by the outlets. This is probably the worst location I have ever been to. My kids wanted Happy Meals for dinner. So we came here and decided to just eat it at the hotel, which is only located about 3 minutes away. The drive-thru line was LONG. They don't have that double ordering system that has two lanes that merge into one. It's all one big long line. The employees looked and sounded like they hated their job. We finally got our food and headed back to the hotel. Like I said before, it's less than a 5 minute drive. When we opened their happy meal boxes, our food was luke warm and the fries were stale, like it had all just been sitting out already. How is this possible?!!! We waited in a long line, thinking they were busy so our food would be fresh and hot. Nope. All of it was old. And what was even worse, was that the milk and apple juice box we got as drinks, were also warm. Were these not in a fridge beforehand?! Was everything just sitting out?! Needless to say, my kids were not happy with their food. And that says a lot for a 4 and 2 year old to say that the french fries tasted yucky. read more

You have to order from a self service station. The food took 40 minutes to come out and when we got it there was a black long hair in our food. In the meantime people were walking out taking a loss on the money because of the wait time. Also, a child vomited in 3 places in the dining area and no employees came out to clean it up for 20 minutes. We saw a guy almost fall in it. When we asked for a bag we were told no. When we asked for a refill on soda we were told to buy another one. This place needs some serious help. We will never stop here again! Stay clear. read more

This is a super high traffic McDonald's. Hundreds of people are coming in and out and there was only one cashier. The employees, however, do a wonderful job of keeping up the pace but expect to wait. Bathrooms are locked with a code and likely to keep the homeless people in the area out. Nonetheless, they find their way in as people are coming in and out of the bathrooms. Bathrooms smell, one of the sinks don't work, and another one was being used by a homeless man washing themselves. Prices are higher than other McDonald's and no refills on drinks. read more

Driving to SoCal from Las Vegas, this is our stop for a quick bathroom break and breakfast. Bathrooms usually need attention when we get there. It may be not the restaurant's fault but this should be a priority since they are on a traveling route. Breakfast is always quick and McDonald's standard. Today it seemed to us that we need to always ask for everything from the country- napkins, sugar, creamer, ketchup, stirrer....it's tiring. This is not good service but they are probably trying to stop people from stealing their supplies. The biggest thing in McDonald's for me is COFFEE their coffee for a medium is $1.79? It is $1 - any size anywhere in Vegas but maybe since they are on the roadside it's kinda like highway robbery. Needs improvement guys. read more
