I told the drive thru employee bad she got quickly flustered , said it was wrong and she can't change it. I pressed it again and she said a manager was there and would deal with it. Paid $11.88 for two quarter pounders with cheese, using BOGO coupon. ??? That's like $10 per quarter pounder?!? Hell, for that price for one, I can have a very satisfying bowl of large steak pho. For the price of two, w/o coupon, I could do all you can eat sushi buffet!!! Perhaps that is a correct price? However, McDonalds seems to keep its prices (at least for the individual items) very secretive -- could not find it online. So, I'm going to blame this location. Also, the dang "quarter pounder" looked no bigger than a regular burger. I think they overcharged me! Do correct me, if I'm wrong. The cashier had such an accent I couldn't understand. When I picked up my food the fella told me I couldn't have my dog in the restaurant. When I told him it was a service dog he said "sure" as he walked away. He said service dogs always walked on the ground. My dog is 8 lbs and I always Cary her in restaurants so she won't get walked on. My animal IS a service animal and I have no reason to explain what she does for me. I go here regularly. The service is so-so. I routinely get diet coke when I ask for regular. I get half-full boxes of fries. Half the time the food I order isn't fresh or has been sitting in a warmer of too long. But... it's fast food. So I can't really complain about all that. Today, my wife went in for one of the $1 Frappes they've been promoting all weekend. The ads in the paper and online all say "through Sunday". When we went in to treat ourselves to a cheap treat, the workers said the promotion ended on Saturday. A protest brought out the manager, who said the same thing. Saturday was the last day. We drove off disappointed. As we drove by the McD's restaurant a mile down the road, the ad in the window said "$1 Frappes". We drove in and they happily sold us 2 saying, "No... the promotion is through Sunday." We stopped in at 3-4 more just to check on our way home. All had $1 Frappes for sale and all said that Sunday was the last day. I called the first McDonald's and got a manager on the phone. I told her that the other stores were honoring the promotion, and that the print and online ads all said "through Sunday". The manager said it was out of her hands, that "The system downloads the prices and she can't change them." 1) If that were true, why is her's the only store without the promo. 2) I used to work at McDonald's as a manager in college. I KNOW that a manager can choose to honor any coupon or promotion at any time. This woman flatly refused to admit she was in error. For this, I rate 2 stars. No, I'm not insane. This is 5 stars for a very specific reason. Bear with me. So last night was one of those rare nights in the PNW where it is actually warm after dark. For some reason my primordial brain sets upon me with a serious CRAVING (all caps intentional) for some sort of ice cream. The Honey and I are in Bellevue having dinner with my folks when I broach the subject of getting some sort of soft ice creamy treat (I wanted soft ice cream specifically and I hate Cold Stone and Baskins). It went something like this: Moi: Can we go to Red Mango? Honey: Where is it? Moi: Belle Square Honey: I would rather light myself on fire than set one foot in that place. No! By the time we're done with dinner at my folks and a shopping stop at B&N I have now whined for 2 hours and adjusted my craving to one for vanilla soft serve. It is 10pm and we're in Bellevue. Moi: Can we get soft serve? PLEEEEAAASSSSEEEE (insert sad eyes and pout here) Honey (pulling in to McD's): Fine! I hope you know that you set women's rights back 50 years by whining to get your way. Moi (triumphantly): I don't care! I don't see any of those betchs here getting soft serve, now do I? So this McD's gets 4 stars for being the only place in Bellevue on a balmy night where I can get a damn soft serve vanilla cone. + 1 star for the fact that we got the cone and a sundae for 1.59. **My Honey also gets 5 stars for not killing me and dumping my whiny butt on the side of the road. read more

I have been coming to this McDonalds for years like others mentioned not because of the food but because of their service. They are super nice, really clean and know how to get your order done swiftly with precision. This place was also renovated, they added new seating and some TVs! Let me share one of my fond memories of this McDonalds with you. I remember one time my friend had his 22nd birthday here, it was odd but whatever floats his boat. On a rush so took my daughter to get a quick dinner before her class. Order a happy meal for her and #2 meal for myself. Waited almost half an hour and my food never came!!! About 10 minutes after I ordered, I checked with one of the employees at the register and she said my food is coming right up. Well... it did not!!! I ended up asking for a refund ( which took another 5 minutes to complete) as my daughter's class is about to begin. My daughter had to starve through her one hour long class now. The manager even lied to me that he did called my number. Lie!!!!!!! I can't help it. I need a plain McDonald's double cheeseburger every so often. And those crispy french fries! Mouth... watering...now... Okay... now that I have wrangled my drool... I particularly like this McD's for the simple fact that they have their s*** together. There are those two lanes. It states: "Any lane, any time." I love going by all those dumbies filing through the one line and do the alternate one. They haven't screwed up any of my orders yet. (I say yet, because every McDonald's I have been to has screwed up my plain double cheeseburger at least once.) And they are faster than any McD's I have ever been to. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes, even when I was wiating at the entrance of the parking lot when I pulled up. They are experts at getting food out fast. Also, they seem to hire a different breed of fast food workers here. They are always friendly and tell me to have a nice day, which really makes all the difference. There are other McD's that I would rate at 1 or 2 because of their sub-par service and the average ten-fifteen minute waits. Good job for running such a tight ship! read more

I think everyone knows what McDonalds food is like, so I wont write much about it. The reason why this is my favorite McDonalds is because the service is really nice. I have grown up with McDonalds. My family had McDonalds literally ever Saturday. Happy Meals really do make me happy, even today! :) In high school, after I got my car, I would eat McDonalds for breakfast, and lunch. The thing that made my day everyday was sitting through the drive through and having the old asian man greet me every morning. I think he really remembered me. He always had a smile on his face. In the afternoon, there was a young asian girl there with blonde hair who would make small conversations with me. And they never get my order wrong. They give me exactly what I ask for. Thank you for being the best McDonalds ever. Other McDonalds are just not up to par. Breakfast: Sausage Biscuit meal with Orange Juice or 2 Sausage Biscuits with Orange Juice Any sandwich with sausage is good. Then be prepared to be treated like crap if they mess up your order because it's your fault they can figure out between a large and medium fry or sweet tea and unsweetened. There's always an issue here and I have given them so many chances and it never improves. The only reason I come back to this location is because it's the closes one to my house. So basically this fast food restaurant deserves a one star. I ordered a double quarter meal large with a sprite and 20pc nuggets. Paid about 19 bucks. My sprite was good and nuggets ok, fries soo salty I couldn't eat them! Bit into my burger and to my surprise had a thick layer of some separation paper melted into the meat and cheese. After already arriving home I called the restaurant to see my options of what they could do first they say after collecting my information they say we will be able to refund me a portion of my order once they found it Basically I just wanted to be refunded for the burger only! After getting transferred to another person they end up telling me that sorry we cant do any refunds over the phone that I would have to bring the food back in and they can exchange it for me also I even offer to send them a pic as proof but still no luck so even though they close at 930 and I live over 30 mins away I wouldn't make it back in time nor did I even want to waste my time and gas just to collect 6 to 7 bucks back. We were in town for a doctors appointment and went through the Drive thru during lunch and ordered our 2 year old a 4pc Happy Meal.Chicken nuggets were so old and hard they seemed like they had been reheated.Because the lobby is closed we had to wait in line until we got to the second window to speak with someone.Older lady at first window was friendly but the young guy at the second window was a jerk that said they are supposed to be hard because they are chicken nuggets.Told us to move to the first spot and they would fix them for us.Teach your employees manners and better customer service skills. read more

The manager on duty, whose name I was not able to catch, did me a huge act today when he returned my wallet to me that he found during what I believe he said was his routine walk-thru inspection of the restaurant's parking lot. That is so swell and I felt a great sense of community after that I went back and thanked him again and knew I get to do what many regular consumers like myself do not always remember to do (write a positive/5-star review). Thank you so much- this location has been used by me for 10 years whenever I get my random craving for that delicious egg McMuffin and that ever so infamous, McDonald's coffee. This is one of the better McD's around and I can't believe I've never Yelped it. My son turned five today and he was BUILT from sausage biscuits from this location! LOL Traffic in and out can be a pain and the double-lane drive-through ordering station does not seem to speed things up, it just annoys me because somehow I always end up in the slower lane. The drive-through order takers are awesome and friendly, especially the older Asian folks that work weekday mornings. They will get to know you and their daily greeting is warm and sincere. That cheers me up more than the food, which is purely by the franchise notebook. read more

I remember when this place use to have a play area where the picnick tables are now. That was 13+ years ago. Now the newly remodeled mcdonalds is even better then ever! With a beautiful inside, it makes you feel like your not in a fast food restrant anymore. With actual cousions, white top tables & a beautiful asain style to it, this is one mcdonads you must eat at. The food is quality. Unlike other close mcdonalds to the area, they actually take the time to prepare your food. Not over cook it, not under cook it, not squish it, not make a mess of your burger, they are just right. A few times i had to say "you messed up my order, may i have another burger" But with the new workers to the restrant, they deserve a break. They are new, not their fault if they missed a "no pickles" on your order. The drivethrou has two speaker boxes, making it alot faster but sometimes thats not always the case. I've had trouble understanding what a person is saying sometimes on the other end. Again if they are new, i don't blame them but it makes both the people working there & the customer very stressed out. I recommend going inside & taking it to go. Waiting time for your order shouldn't take long, its pretty quick unless staff is low that day, which it always isn't so the place is pretty lively. I hope you find my review to be helpful. It's the best McDonald's in a 10 mile radius. It's bright and clean on the inside (unlike the greasy fluorescent lighted one by Crossroads on 156). The sandwiches are more or less neatly constructed. The remodeling gave the inside a nice modern lift, but turned the outside into a red bricked cube. The foam red bench seating are deceptively uncomfortable because they're flat and don't mold to the butt as well as the old plastic seats. The flat back panel gives no arch support at all (Damn, I miss the Arch Deluxe). The wooden chairs are too slippery -- when I slouch, I slide off. The remodeling also made the till area too small -- patrons don't have a clear place to stand giving rise to confusion as to who is ordering, and who is waiting. The hole to the trash can is too small -- the design prevents people from chucking their tray away, but it also means that people's waste end up everywhere. They should have what the Dairy Queen in Redmond has -- the opening to the trash is shaped like a funnel so trash is guided down, but prevents trays from being tossed. Service seemed to have slowed down since Angela was ousted as manager. At peak hours, the till processes more orders than food can be produced. They once lost my order for a Chocolate shake because the receipts were being tossed about in a huge gigantic pile. Still, I love McDonald's and this is the one I prefer. read more

So I am aware this is a McDonalds, but my rating reflects how I feel this specific location is doing at providing the expected experience of the national chain. I will say that this is definitely one of the better McDonalds on the east side. The drive thru is often pretty busy so I know I am not alone in my opinion. The prices are what you expect and the service is on better than what you would expect with a basic fast food chain. If I want McDonalds I often drive to this one rather than the two that are slightly closer to me because of the price and better service. The only reason I am not giving a 5 is because of the speed of service. It isn't consistently as quick as you would expect so sometimes it takes a little longer than expected. I would still say it is worth it because there are rarely mistakes and any mistake on their part is fixed quickly with an apology and sometimes a free item as a token of appreciation. read more

I love that this is open 24 hours! We have made a lot of late night trips here. Having 2 drive through lanes is great. The reason for the 3 stars is I have never came here when the dang ice cream machine was working! I seriously think they just pretend its always broken but actually don't have one. Went thru the drive thru to get happy meals for our kids. The male employee taking the order was very rude and we ordered the 6 piece chicken nugget happy meal. When we saw the menu board we noticed he didn't capture the sauce so we mentioned the sauce we needed. And the screen said 4 piece chicken nugget so my husband said " oh- also it was the 6 piece nuggets" he replied rudely " yea- 4 plus 2 = 6 look at the screen". At the time the screen did not show anything but the total and we said "the screen is blank" then he put the screen back up and said "YOU SEE 4 plus 2 EQUALS 6." Like we were stupid. My husband drove up to the window and was upset and asked him why he had to word things that way like we are stupid? He said "how else do I say that nicely it was on the screen!" Really poor service, this is our third time coming here in the last couple weeks being treated like this. When you come into the restaurant the smell is like a mildew around the whole restaurant. The service sucks, the manager on duty saw us come in and didn't pay attention to us at all and after 20min of standing in front of the register we left because of how rude and mistreated we were. Their sweet tea was rotten on many occasions. Their screens for their menu are out of order. Their fries are soggy and burnt. Absolutely ridiculous restaurant that needs to be monitored on a daily and needs help from higher management. We're gonna stop coming here from now on! read more

uber eats and your store just royally screwed up my co-workers meal and I was on this side of the phone call as he called in to see if there were ways to remedy the situation. They suggested he came down to the Mcdonalds to have them fix it... to which he responded the reason he used UberEats for this was because he couldn't get out of work. He paid an extra $3.49 for the convenience and got about as much wrong on his order as he could get. the ticket on the outside of the bag was correct, but what was inside was all wrong. the person on the other end then said she could take care of it on her break??? REALLY??? This place we work at has a lot of people that use UberEats for just this reason, and we frequent this McDonalds a lot... Not anymore. it's one thing getting things wrong... it's wholly different not offering a fair resolution. Poor decision guys. read more
