The review is for the location and the employees more than anything. I will start by saying that I'm not a McDonalds fan, except for the occasional egg McMuffin. I did however want to try the new Big Arch for lunch this past week. There are four McDonalds near where I work. This location which I've been to twice before in my 6 years working nearby, absolutely is the cleanest and has the best staff. In fact I would be willing to say it's one of the best I've been to in general. I used the app to order and do counter pick up. I walked into a very clean restaurant. The folks there that I interacted with for my order were extremely friendly. Staff was constantly out cleaning the dining area and I watched the interactions that other diners had and they seemed positive as well. Now on to the Big Arch. It was indeed big, bigger than any other burger I've had from McDonalds. But it also carries the highest price tag of their food. The sandwiches interesting. The crispy onions were a nice touch. The sauce was mild. I did add a little ketchup to my last few bites. The fries were bland and forgettable, making me feel ish I just ordered the sandwich and a drink instead of the combo. If I have to have McDonald's again while in that area, I would definitely choose this location over the others. read more

I see the bad reviews; I've never had a bad experience here. I go after school like every other day, usually just get a coffee. I have not seen 1 positive review on here about the South Park McDonald's. Apparently is not possible for the management to care less about reviews. Everyone knows what to expect from McDonald's, but to serve a Triple Cheeseburger that is put together in haste while the parking lot is empty....calls for disciplinary actions. Came in this morning for breakfast, close to opening and the dining room is dirty. Only one clean table in the restaurant, which means the closing crew didn't clean. And the opening crew didn't clean either. So if they don't clean when they close and they don't clean when they open, when do they clean? And if they don't clean the dining room, do they clean the kitchen It's a holiday weekend, but this is the second morning this has happened. read more

I don't ever review fast food places but felt that this place has an iconic person that works here and needs my review. I'm not one to eat all of the dinner foods because at my age it destroys my system. Enough said; As for breakfast I will visit here from time to time and can enjoy a sausage egg and cheese either as a wrap or on a muffin and feel good afterwards. I've been at this location maybe 5-10 times over the course of the last six months. They have a nice older lady named Eileen that works here. At first I didn't know how to take her but over time she grew on me. She's exact and right on worth taking your order and reviewing your order and today I see that she has a humor side to her. While we were patiently waiting to pay, someone ordered $35 worth of sweet tea and he response was "oh my god" you've got a problem with our tea. It was the way she said it and when she told them pull around, make a funny comment about the sweet tea. This woman is great and I hope this is an retirement gig for her. This place has a lot of bad reviews. Maybe she be head trainer and teach the younger staff in the front what customer service is all about. "Come on Eileen" is what makes a difference at this McDonald's. read more

I don't know why I keep going there Burger King across the street is faster and it tastes good and fresh. I asked for a quarter pounder with no pickle as normally it would be made fresh... they just removed the pickle this burger is overdone and the bun is stale. Let me start by saying I have not had a steak, egg and cheese bagel in a few years. I remember them being ok, not the best, yet edible. I ordered one and it was awful. The "steak" tasted like it was sawdust molded into a pattie shape and slapped on the bun. The fake egg and processed cheese was just as bad. As for the bagel, it just passed. There was also some type of sauce on it that was terrible. Never again McDonalds. I can't understand how these places stay in business. Ooof.... just all around terrible. The food. The service. The wait... waited a half hour for my mobile order which I could see sitting behind the counter the whole time. The lady kept asking me over and over and over again what I order. She kept asking to see my receipt. I gave her my order number multiple times. I was finally served 2 very unhappy meals. Cold stiff fries. Sour pickles. Stale hard bread. I ordered the adult happy meal which was supposed to fill me up with joy and nostalgia. Instead I was served up a headache with a side of impending regret. By the time I got to the toy I could not even care less, because quite frankly, I wanted to forget this whole experience that very much reminded me of what being an adult is like. Went to McDonald's in Bethel Park around 1pm the drive thru line was long . I ordered a quarter hamburger/French Fries. The French Fries were ice cold and the burger was slightly warm. This was disappointing as I was starving haven't eaten all day. I really don't understand how the food would be cold in the middle of their lunch rush. I'm so tired of paying for food that you can't eat. I think the next time I'm starving I'll choose a mom and pop place instead of the fast food over priced drive thru that doesn't respect their customers enough to give us what we paid for hot food. Just went through the drive thru at 7pm today (28 October 2018) Sat at the drive through order area for 5 mins before my order was taken. There are a lot of bad mcdonald's around here but this one might be the worst. Unless you have an hour to wait for "fast" food then don't think about stopping by here. I was at McDonald's today at south park shops bethel park pa. I never wrote something like this before but enough is enough. I was the only one at the drive through at 9:30 am and I had to wait for sometime to have someone recognize me there. No big deal they could have been away from the station for a number of reasons. I finally gave my order to pull around to find the young girl sitting at the window on her cell phone. When I waited to give her my money I again had to wait until she finished her message. I paid. She picked up her phone before I could put my change away and continued to message while another customer was giving her his order. That she needed repeated while she was distracted.
