Went to the location in Pleasant Hills last Sunday afternoon. I always order a #7 turkey , provolone, Mikes way. The sub had lettuce( which was yellow and should not have been served) tomatoes (mostly white) and onions. I usually have a great sub but not this time! So disappointed ! read more

Usually we go to the one out in pleasant hills but we were going to listen to music in the park... so decided to get from this location instead. I have been a Jersey Mike's Customer since they opened this store a few years ago. At first there was enthusiasm and customer concerns were a priority. Lately things have gone downhill, very fast. The last 3 times I have ordered online, the pickup times have grown exponentially. Yesterday I ordered a Giant Tuna and pickup times were over 30 minutes. The store was virtually empty at 8PM with 4 visible employees. 2 guys working the counter and 2 girls were in the back just talking, in fact one of the boys said to the girls " we need some help here". When I arrived to pickup the order, they hadn't even started to make. Again the store had only 2 customers. I asked for the order under the name Daryl Renzi, and they replied " we will make it now". This is when the boys had to ask the girls just standing around and talking. They hastily made the sandwich and asked how I wanted it dressed? I replied " just as the order was placed". They set the sandwich on the back counter, I had to ask again for the sandwich, as I was standing there and waiting for it. The order was paid for online, with a small tip. When arriving home and opening the sandwich, it was a sloppy mess. There was no way it could've been any more sloppy. I realize it was tuna salad, but tuna and mayo were coating the paper wrap and entire bun, making it impossible to eat as a sandwich, I had to use a knife and fork to keep it from sliding out of my hands. Jersey Mike's to me has the best sandwich. My sandwich was just short of $20, not inexpensive by any means. But for $20 I expect more from your franchise than I do from a Subway or Jimmy John's. I'm a delivery driver that picked up an order here recently. Often, items are missing from our orders from other restaurants. Uber tells us to verify that all items are present. When I received the bag, it felt almost empty so I wanted to check that the chips were in the bag. I peaked in the corner, making sure not to break the seal created by stickers. While doing so, the OWNER, Mike, began to say "mam." I looked behind me to see who he was talking to and he proceeded to raise his voice and yell "mam" louder. He then, with a raised voice, stated that I was allowed to open the bag. I said that I wasn't. That I was making sure it was all there. He said "Well it's all in there. You can't open the bag." I reiterated that I wasn't opening it but that I wanted to double check. He again snapped that everything was in the bag. I've delivered for over 4 years and I've never received this kind of service. I've also never had a manager, let alone an owner, speak to me the way that Mike did. It was excessively inappropriate considering we are told to verify that items are present and even upon asking employees and being told everything is there, often times they are completely wrong. I will not be returning to this location for myself or my customers. The "owner" needs more training on how to appropriately handle customers and how to speak to them. This was ridiculous. read more

We do not have these in Rochester, NY.. I miss them Yes I know they don't toast them but who cares. I really enjoy the RoastBeef and get it"Mikes Way" lettuce, tomato and etc. I add mayo, hot red pepper spread.. yum. The staff here is really nice and helpful. The inside is clean and everyone inside seems satisfied with there sub. My husband gets the turkey one and loves it too. Even though Jersey Mile's is a chain, it deserves a review for how good their hoagies are. The bread, the meats, the toppings, everything is always super fresh and high quality. Some of my favorites are the turkey, Italian, cheese yak, and buffalo chicken. The seasoning and dressing they use for the cold subs makes for an incredible flavor. read more

Upon arrival it was not ready, talked with the cashier and she said couple of minutes. 20 minutes passed and 5 customers came in and were served. First time at the new location. This place has so many different sub options. It was nice because they had a lot of chicken and steak options. All that we had was very good. This isn't like subway. The sandwich had obviously been sitting the entire time..they couldn't remake the sandwich after seeing how long it had been there??? I first tried Jersey Mikes a few months ago and to say I am obsessed is an understatement. I went four times in the past week because it's just SO GOOD! All of the meat is sliced to order, the bread is so fresh, and the veggie toppings nice and crisp. Make sure you get your sub "mikes way" which includes tomatoes, lettuce, onions, seasoning and oil. The onions, seasoning and oil really make the sub! The nice thing is they have a lot of options. I do not eat steak but they have a chicken cheesesteak which was outstanding! You can also make any sub into a wrap. I usually get the turkey sub but got it in a wrap this week and it was so yummy! You can also cut the carbs all together and get everything in a bowl. Make sure you sign up for their email club and app. You get "shore points" which add up to free subs and you also get a free sub, drink and chip on your birthday! This is actually what got me to try Jersey Mikes! Can I also mention how nice everyone is here! They always greet you and say goodbye. Each time we are here they strike up conversation and they just really make you feel welcome :) read more

My friend and I stopped into this sub shop for an early dinner. The restaurant was clean. It has a lot to choose from on the menu. I ordered a Meatball sub. They made it fresh which was nice. The meatballs were a nice size. They could have been warmed up a bit more. There was a nice portion of melted cheese on top. I would have liked a little more though. I'm a true believer in "no such thing as too much cheese". The meatballs were ok, not a lot of flavor. The bun was the proper density to hold up to the meatballs and not get soggy. Nobody can get it right or even wrong ALL the time. But this place gets it wrong often enough that I cringe at the thought of going there. I don't go there very often for the reasons I will be mentioning. I have never had a short wait, so don't go when you have time constraints. People in my office like the food, the food is good when it is right. I refuse to go unless it is ordered online so it "should" be ready. Don't go when you have time constraints. 50/50 chance your food is in the takeout rack or you have to look like a line cutter and go to the register. Today it was in both places. I gave the attendant my name, then waited and waited....don't go when you have a time constraint. I decided to go to the back of the room to check the rack, low and behold, rather than bring it to the register, they dumped it on the shelf. Okay, now I can go, except it was missing a whole sandwich, back to the register, they picked up a sandwich behind them and stuck in my bag. I left because now I am really out of time, almost a half hour past the time I was told on the internet.....don't go when you have a time constraint. I rushed to the bank and the other business I had to take care of, head home, read the receipt and a drink is missing. I am going to find time to go back and get my $3.00, I don't need the money, but this point needs to be made. Don't when you have a time constraint, you will be disappointed. The food is actually pretty good. Good enough to make me a frequent customer. The service, timing, accuracy, and, yes, even the pricing is enough to keep me away unless I am forced to go by someone else in the office. I walked into this location with my son and husband (both of which have asthma). We had on our masks and were standing 6 feet from the others. Inside waiting for food were not one, but TWO people without masks on. The sign on the door clearly stated that a mask was required, however not one employee said a thing to either person. They got our order entirely right, even with lots of special instructions (sauce of the side, cut in 4ths, etc) and pick up was so quick - skip the line. We kept them overnight before we went on the boat and they were still fantastic, even day old.
