I truly don't understand this McDonald's do you think being as big as it is it's right next to Knott's Berry farm deals with a high volume of people that the employees would have a little bit better attitudes but they don't they have the same attitude that this place used to have when it was a rundown McDonald's like I just went in there right now the guy taking the order in the drive to literally gave me a migraine headache you can't repeat enough so I had ordered one thing and he kept repeating the wrong thing and then I'm like repeating myself and I don't even know if he's hearing me and then when he finally gets it right I go to the window and I go you're not hear me or is the speaker messed up and of course he's Mr attitude says oh I was talking to someone else I can't talk to two people at once that's pretty much what he said man after dealing with that guy I pull up to the next window to pick up my food this time it's a young lady and she's dripping with attitude she didn't say hi nothing whatever just like literally throws the bag at me and I had like yell at her before she closed the window completely just so I can get some damn ketchup and again no buy no thank you just repeating me of a fast food worker who makes $20 that absolutely doesn't deserve $10 an hour so I think you McDonald's for ruining my Friday morning read more

This has quickly become one of my favorite locations! It is very clean, and the parking lot is extremely spacious, which I really appreciate. Sophia was incredibly helpful! Headed to knotts and stopped by before going to the park. we decided to park and check out the inside since it's remodel. It is insanely huge inside lots of seating and 5 ordering kiosks. i expected it to be busy due to location which it was. Food took a little while to come out and they did apologize and admit they're currently understaffed. overall really happy with the new layout , food was good and service was slow but can't knock them on it they had lots of people to serve. read more

I had a terrible experience at this McDonald's on July 24 around 9:50 PM. The girl working the second drive-thru window was incredibly rude. She slammed the window in my face multiple times, and on the last one, she said "K bye" in a nasty, sarcastic tone -- and didn't even give me the ice cream cone I paid for. When I obviously didn't drive away and waited at the window, she eventually came back and looked at me like I was the crazy one. No apology, no explanation -- just more attitude. The whole interaction was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. I really hope management reviews the security footage and holds her accountable -- preferably by letting her go. I wish I could give this place negative stars. My boyfriend and I went to McDonald's late at night and had a really disappointing experience. While we were in line, a very kind homeless man asked if we could order him some food. He was respectful and even said he would pay for whatever he got. We agreed because we wanted to help someone get a meal for the night. When we got to the window, the employee was extremely rude and clearly annoyed that we were helping him. He was rolling his eyes, had an attitude, and was very unhelpful throughout the interaction. It honestly felt like we were being judged just for trying to do something kind. On top of that, when we finally got our food, the fries were completely cold. Between the poor service and the lack of basic food quality, the whole experience was frustrating. I understand working late nights isn't easy, but there is no excuse for treating people this way, especially someone who is already struggling. Trash. $30 for a Big Mac meal and McFlurry. They didn't flurry my McFlurry. It was just soft serve with some Oreo crumbs sitting on top. They didn't put any of the extra patty cheese sauce I paid for the Big Mac. And my large fries was less than half full and undercooked. Unfortunately DoorDash doesn't refund for this sh*t. The new remodel is quite boring. They removed a lot of what made this place good. The prices have also increased most likely to pay for their lazy construction. There are barely any employees to help with the self service machines which I don't think anyone asked for. It takes double the time to order now. Another disappoint, but seems to be a nationwide policy, is that they happen to be very stingy with condiments. 4 ketchups for a family of 4! Overall they probably won't lose business because it's next to Knotts but if you can avoid this location, please do! read more

It makes me so sad to leave an awful review of this place, but it really is awful. There are several McDonalds locations around the world that are labeled as "unique". Technically this could count as one of them. Super cool looking exterior and a model train set running through the whole dining room. Very cool! Especially for train enthusiasts. However then you realize the train isn't running because it's broken. The ceiling panels over the door is falling so they permanently locked that door so it won't fall on someone. Tables are barely hanging on. I enjoy McDonalds and visiting the unique ones. This one is by far the most disgusting McDonalds you'll ever see. So many broken areas, so many unsafe areas, and honestly I'm surprised the health inspectors have not shut this place down yet. Do not visit this place, even if you're going to Knott's. I know this review will fall on deaf ears but our experience was terrible. From the drive thru employee questioning if I received 2 big macs to my daughter getting food poisoning from the controversial big mac. McDonald's is just sub and folks just deal with it. I mean you almost expect for something to go wrong. We try to limit our visit to about once a month and it would zero if it wasn't for my kids. Almost half the time they mess up my daughter's double cheeseburger that we order plain with nothing but meat and bun. Yup you guessed it there's cheese half the time. I've spoken to several employees on how to order it so there's no issues and I've been told conflicting options. But this visit definitely takes the cake. When we arrive to our hotel my daughter said her big mac didn't taste right. After a couple bites she decided she couldn't eat it which was a 1st. As my wife bites into her chicken sandwich, parts of it was rare and I'll post a picture to confirm. The sad part is nobody checks online reviews or really cares when it comes to fast food. So with that being said I'm sure this is more of me getting this off my chest than anything. But yall gotta start doing better Mickey D's read more

After leaving Knott's Berry Farm today, we needed to get some ice cold water. The water in our water bottles did not cut it and it could be used to make hot tea... it was that hot LOL. Yes, weather was so hot. Anyway, this McDonald's is right on Beach Blvd. It is very easy to access. Guess what? It's exterior is pink. How lovely! We didn't go inside... just went through drive-thru. I asked the gentleman what is their normal water cup size. He replied it depends on what size we wanted. He offered 32 oz and I said may I get 3 of them free of charge. He said yes. Wow... what above and beyond customer service! So grateful. I also bought 20 pieces chicken nuggets with sweet and sour plus buttermilk ranch sauces. Staff was fantastic from taking our order to handing us our order with a smile. Btw, the water was deliciously ice cold and thirst-quenching! Chicken nuggets are always good... nothing compares to them. Thank you so much McDonald's for your wonderful staff and great service provided plus great tasting foods! P.S. Unfortunately, my phone was drenched in water earlier today, hence, I was not able to check-in here or take any future pictures at this time. Kind of bummed about it. Worst McDonald's I've ever been too, I don't even like McDonald's but today I decided to try it out. My brother and cousin that came visiting from Oregon and wanted to try it out. They not only didn't give me Buffalo sauce which I made clear I wanted 3 of them I didn't get a Big Mac. Had a quick bite to eat here before going to Knott's scary farm which was even better than I expected. This location is very cute with the displays and train going throughout the building. My friends and I all ordered a variation of the McChicken which as I said, was a lot better than I expected. I got the deluxe sandwich sub the mayo for the spicy sauce. That was a 10/10 with that modification. My one friend ordered a regular mcchicken and my other friend got the spicy version which was all great! The one thing that was most shocking to me was the prices! This is the Skid Row of McDonald's. Like many other reviewers here; this USED to be my favorite McDonald's because of its arcade and toy train that circles the entire restaurant. To my horror the train is completely broken, the arcade is 80% broken, every trash can is spilling onto the floor, every table is filthy, the lighting is sparse and creepy, there are hardly ANY employees working, the floor is littered with trash, it took 30+ minutes to get our food, the drink station is drenched in soda and trash, and so much more. While the food was good, the slow service was disappointing and not ideal for a morning stop. Why have 2 drive thru lanes open when there is only 1 worker ‍and can only take 1 order at a time for both lanes.

I don't think this is management's fault. The neighborhood is very "pro crime" or at the very least pretty low on teaching personal responsibility. To put it another way, what good does it do to clean a place when so many customers are vandalizing the place every few minutes? I remember this place being an attraction in the AAA book back in the 90's-00's and being fairly impressed by what was inside. The train layouts and arcade were really a draw, otherwise why would I even eat at a McDonald's? Today things are really run down but I disagree with all the comments blaming this location's management or McDonald's corporate handling of the place. How many times can you replace the glass after it's been etched on, anyhow? When I was there last Saturday ( 06/04/2022 ) myself and a friend were the only ones in there above 25. Everyone else dressed the part of a banger and even if they weren't in a gang, the attitude was there. McDonald's crew members did their best to clean up as soon as there were messes made but it's a losing battle against a clientele that's basically taking the place apart as soon as it gets put back together. One door leading to the outside was blocked by a stack of chairs for what looked like security reasons. I think there was a security guard outside but I have no idea what he was doing. It looked like he was looking around at everything in the area except what was going on inside. Some of the reviews here called the staff unfriendly but from what I saw, everyone was nice. If anything those people at the counter had to weather a crazy amount of attitude and entitlement by the teen/twenty group of 30+ people. Buena Park sure has gone downhill since the 70's-00's. There's no point renovating this place when it's in a demilitarized zone. read more

My favorite McDonald's when I was a growing up in the 90s now imagine a store maintained bare minimum since then. The store has an iconic train set inside and I feel like the same train set from my childhood is still in use today. I scanned my McDonald's app for a discount on a soft serve and they somehow canceled the discount and screwed that up. Service was terrible too! Manager took my order for a soft serve and a 2 cheeseburger combo but didn't get my drink with the order so I had to ask another employee for my drink cup. 2 other orders after mine were served first before I got mine. The drink station is no better. It has its own ecology going on with all the flies and mold in the area. Come here only as a last resort! read more

Got here around 1:40 AM. Ordered from the kiosk for for here instead of to go and the order was successful and went through. Waited 30 minutes, no one came to deliver our order. Went up and asked and turns out there's no in house service past midnight. I had to manually give them my order since I didn't get an order number for ordering in house. Why even have the option in the first place then at 1:40 AM?! Pissed me off and wasted my time. To top things off, security then kicked us out since it was too late by the time I got my order so I couldn't even enjoy my meal inside. Terrible terrible service read more
