We ordered and had our food within fifteen minutes, probably less time than it would've taken us to get through the drive-thru line. (I have found this to be true at almost every location.) Service was great, as always. In fact, my three-year-old dropped his cheeseburger on the floor after a few bites, and we got it replaced on the house, just like that. The kids also got little In-N-Out sticker activity books to play with, which kept them entertained for minutes at a time. I got my usual order, a double double with grilled onions and a heaping side of whole yellow peppers from the condiment stand. Pure deliciousness. My boys got a grilled cheese and a plain cheeseburger, and they both ate well. We got some fries, too, and while I'm not a particular fan of In-N-Out fries, I ate my fair share of them. We hit the bathrooms on our way out, as we had a long drive ahead of us, and I noticed the bathroom situation was less ample than the typical In-N-Out, maybe because this one wasn't right off the freeway (I do think the restaurant was smaller overall, but this was the only way that mattered for us). Just a couple of single bathrooms instead of the usual stalls, and we did have to wait to use them. In any case, this was an excellent, easy dinner, the perfect way to end a long day in Buena Park. I look forward to my next In-N-Out meal, wherever it might be.

I've been to this particular McDonalds many times over the years without any issues. The employees are generally pleasant and the food is usually served right out of the fryer. I hadn't been since I moved from that area two months ago and I have to say, a lot has changed in that two months. Particularly the boom of younger employees that have no sense of customer service. And I can't quite recall the management team being much less than leadership material. I had a basic order: Happy Meal, #7 Large, and a Mini Meal. The moment I walked up to the counter, the younger girl behind the counter must have decided she did not like my face because I received a "what do you want" in the most unpleasant tone. Undeterred, I mean every one has a bad day every once in a while, I simply ignored the bad attitude and ordered with a smile. The transaction was processed and I waited for my order to be ready. Once my order was called I picked it up and headed for my car when I noticed the burger from my Mini Meal was missing. Went back up to the counter with my receipt, waited until the employee behind the counter had a free moment and let her know that my burger was not in the bag. The young girl behind the counter (a different one than the first) looked at my ticket, looked at me, looked around, then looked back at me and with a hefty roll of her eyes informed me that Mini Meals do not come with burgers. My first response was a brief glance at the menu above her head where displayed in all its contradictory glory was the Mini Meal menu with the word "burger" written right in between "nuggets" and "McChicken". I was a bit stumped so I verbally responded with "Um... ok." Then an unsure smile and "I did order the burger Mini Meal though..." After another roll of her eyes she finally turned to one of the TWO managers (one male one female) in her general vicinity to shove my receipt at her and whisper something in another language. The female manager looked at the receipt, looked at the younger girl behind the counter, looked at me with mild irritation, took the receipt, and rushed off without another word. Where did she rush off to? Well, the drive thru window of course. To take a drive thru order... because that is what a manager does when present with a customer service issue. The male manager only watched on with a hint of panic and a very clear "please, god, do not get me involved" queasy look on his face. When it was clear the female manager was going to "resolve" the "issue", he went over to the fry machine to fill up fry cartons. The younger girl behind the counter also wandered off, a younger boy taking her place and sparing me a dismal glance before calling out orders. After about 5-6 minutes of standing in front of the counter without being addressed and wondering what the hell was going on (dudes, they were fully staffed and it wasn't that busy), I looked to the younger boy behind the counter one last time to find him quickly looking away and busying himself with some mundane task before I simply walked away. On my way out I noticed a single employee cleaning up and asked if there was a manager on duty. This employee, another younger girl, informed me that they had TWO managers currently available. The female manager who completely ignored me and the queasy looking male manager (apparently he was the store manager, le gasp!) that watched her do so before scurrying off to busy himself with a task more suited to his skills (he must enjoy filling those french fry cartons). The employee then asked me if I would like her to grab one of the managers for me. I informed her that I had been ignored by both managers and she APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR. Um... What? Yep, the teenage girl cleaning the tables and taking out the trash APOLOGIZED FOR HER MANAGERS' BEHAVIOR. Not only that, but in the quick minute I spoke with her she presented me with way better customer service than her own managers. Yo, McDs, make this kid a manager ASAP or at least have her school the rest of the staff. Went back to my car and my cousin (who was ten times more upset than me about the missing burger) went in and used a**hole customer tactics to get the burger I didn't even want anymore. Hey, I tried nice and my cousin doesn't know the meaning of that word so *shrug*. Whole point of this review: -Most of the staff do not possess even general customer service skills (apparent "managers" included) and should be properly trained -Staff members need to actually KNOW what items are on their menu (it's really sad cause its right above their heads) -Kid who gets stuck with cleaning duty probably shouldn't treat customers better than management Oh man, I have never written a bad review in my life but I actually feel better now. Never going back to that McDonalds again and will tell anyone within hearing distance to only go there if they're prepared to go full out horror story customer if their order is wrong but yeah. Grossest mcdonalds I've ever been too. It's only because all the nasty ass dirty swag fags teens come over from knotts berry farm and dirty the place up. The service is alright, but just the cleanliness gross's me out. The train that's so cool to everyone is surrounded by napkins, straws and other trash bc the rude ass kids throw stuff in it and engrave there stupid names into the glass surrounding it. I waited half an hour in line at the drive thru and when my turn came, the team member told me to go to spot #1 and she would come out and bring me the food since I had placed a mobile order. I went to the spot and waited A WHOLE HOUR and she never came. Cancelling the order was not an option on the app. I had no choice but to leave. I was charged for food that I never received. Got some dude drugged out in the bathroom conducting a science experiment in the men's bathroom and they don't even try to serve you or help you. They just say order at the kiosk. Drive thru always jips you food items. second time in a week they short you a patty in a burger or missed an item. Double Quarterpounder refers to 2 patties. If you cant count to 2, you don't need a 2 digit paycheck. Typical management zero response to surveys or calls. read more

On nights when traffic hits and I am hungry, I hop off to get dinner. It can get confusing on which exit to get off from and this particular time, it felt like a maze getting there. The line is not too long and I managed to get to my order in about 10 mins. Food was good. Customer service was as expected- top-notch! It seems more of a location to go drive thru or for pick up than a place to hang out.
