Ordered my food here and I was not disappointed. I ordered club sandwich and Denver omelette for take out, and they are delicious. If you like old fashioned diner and great breakfast and sandwiches nearby Buena Park, this is a good place.

    Chili cheese fries. Meh
    Lisa E.

We tried a few things. The steak sandwich was too greasy and fatty and flavorless. The chili cheese fries were just average. I got the Avocado burger and wanted to send it back because I couldn't find the avocado. After the employee helped me search for it we found a tiny piece buried inside. Very unimpressed by this. If its an avocado burger you should see plenty of avocado. They should of gave me more to make up for it. Not planning on going back.

130 pm, Sunday, December 14, 2025 I told myself only the Colossal Burger, that's it! The cashier was so friendly, she asked if I wanted to upgrade it to the combo. Ugh... It was so hard to choose but I stuck to my choice. Burger only. Burger delivered to the table in four minutes! Since I didn't order a combo, there was no plastic basket. Instead it came on a disposable plate. The burger was great as always. It was hot off the grill, juicy, soft bun, fresh shredded lettuce, thousand Island dressing, topped with pastrami. In five minutes, it was gone... So, this is a great time to come to the drive thru (after the lunch rush dies down). There wasn't a line when I walked to the door or when going back to the car after I ate. Plenty of parking spaces.

Love coming here on Sundays for breakfast. Good quick service and casual. Eggs, sandwiches and french toast are good! They also have a drive -thru as well.

I was craving a grilled cheese & some twister fries. Yes I can make a grilled cheese at home but something about a grilled cheese from here just hits the spot. It's simple, it's delicious and the staff is friendly. They have a very large menu. There is something for everyone. This is a place where you order at the counter and they bring you your meal to the table. There is plenty of seating. They also have a soda fountain with Pepsi products. The twisty fries from here are a must!!! one order is enough to share with two people.

Lots of parking and lots of seating inside. Service is extremely fast and location is very convenient for those off the freeway. The food itself were OK, breakfast burrito and fried zucchinis were good, but that's a lot of flavor. Just "bland" and nothing too memorable.

Steak made medium and eggs not burnt or overly oily hash browns crispy shout out to Sergio awesome cook !!

I need to give Sergio five star cook he did such an amazing job on my breakfast today. He definitely made my day. It might not mean much to someone to say hey you did a great job on my eggs or my steak but nowadays when things are so expensive and you purchase a meal you hope and cross your fingers they added that TLC so that you're not throwing your money away! Honestly, one of my pet peeves is cooks that cannot make eggs like if you don't know how to cook an egg. Good luck on your meal. I came in this morning. Everybody greeted me with a smile, cooks looked like they were in a great mood. I'm very understanding when people have their days you can't always be on, but it was nice and pleasant today. Again, shout out to the cook Sergio you're the best!!!

Side of fries, side of onion rings. Onion rings- super crispy.

Vegetarian review: - veggie burger was good, but not really because of the patty. They're using the rice and veggie one as opposed to Beyond or Impossible, but some people enjoy it, maybe? - fries: the only thing I might ask for is crispy, but they were good. - onion rings: great and plentiful. Super crunchy. - ranch dressing: thick and probably one of the best around.

Very friendly staff, food comes quickly, is always fresh and got. Wife had chicken sandwich & fries, good sized meal, very tasty. Also had the chicken strips with fried mushrooms. Mushrooms are very tasty. Price was very reasonable, portion sizes are very generous. Restaurant is very clean and comfortable, large menu selection. Highly recommend.

You can't go wrong at Paul's Place. Customer service is always kind and quickly moving and their extensive menu offers something for everyone!! We love the burgers, sandwiches, and salads!!! For lunch we may dine in at their cozy little patio or dining room but for dinner we usually grab it to go. Thank you Paul's Place.

I love Paul's place! Zucchini fries are amazing so is the Gyro! However you get placed on hold for way too long. 12 min and no one ever picked up. I got there and they weren't even busy. Cypress on Cerritos is much more efficient

This place was suggested by one of those Instagram food influencers.... Yikes... I know not to take their suggestions anymore. The food was freshly cooked but saturated in oil. It soaked through the box and bag. The zucchini fried were full length and evenly battered. They melted some type of cheese on top of them, seemed weird and gave them an odd flavor. Maybe they thought they were taquitos or something. While I didn't go inside, the exterior and menu certainly needed a refresh. I ate in my car and was approached by someone begging for money. The ranch with the fries was the saving grace. Unlike most places they gave you plenty with no extra cost/cost built in. Pretty sure I won't be back here unless they make some improvements. Since I only tried the zucchini fries based on the food influencers suggestion I can't give it a full one not having tried other menu items.

    Chicken, not fish.

How much is ham and cheese omelette?

I stopped looking at prices. If I decide to go out to eat, then I know the price has increased! It should be on their web site?? I'll see if I can find it... I went back and tried to find the cost but the inside menu pic was from 2020, so we know…

How much is the broasted chicken plate?

    11.99

How much are the chili cheese fries?

I think they're around 5 bucks but it's a huge portion!!! More than enough for 2 people

I had seen Dalton Cafe on Yelp and noticed they're known for their homemade muffins and omelettes, and they absolutely did not disappoint. I tried the pumpkin and cream cheese muffins, and wow--warm, moist, and incredibly comforting, easily some of the best muffins I've had in a long time. For my main, I ordered the Dalton omelette, which was everything and more--perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and super filling. The hash browns were a standout, tasting like mashed potatoes but crisped up into hash brown form (in the best way possible). It's been a while since a breakfast truly wowed me, and this one definitely did. The ambiance really added to the experience--cozy and comforting, especially being seated by the window facing outside. The Christmas decorations and holiday music were the perfect finishing touch and set the vibe perfectly. Definitely looking forward to coming back. This spot is a gem for a proper breakfast.

Upon arrival, we were informed that the prime rib was only available during Father's Day weekend. It would have been nice if that little detail had been mentioned in the post that inspired the trip. Since we were already there and starving, we decided to stay. Mistake #1. The medium rare top sirloin arrived looking like it had lost a fight with a blowtorch. It was so overcooked and rubbery that we couldn't finish it. We brought the leftovers home thinking at least our dog would enjoy it. She sniffed it and walked away. For anyone who has ever owned a dog, you understand how impressive that is. The meatloaf somehow managed to transport me back to my hospital room after my appendectomy. If you've ever wondered what institutional cafeteria food tastes like with a side of disappointment, order the meatloaf. The coleslaw appeared to be made from aging cabbage with visible brown and pink bruising throughout. To save myself a trip to urgent care, I passed on trying it. The mashed potatoes were the only thing that showed signs of life, but the gravy was so salty it could probably preserve a mummy and contained the dried skin that forms when gravy sits out too long. Even the lemon slices in our water glasses were slimy. The atmosphere felt less like a destination restaurant and more like the dining room of an assisted living facility. The average age of the patrons appeared to be somewhere around 78, which honestly started making sense once the food arrived. The hostess was very nice and our waitress was pleasant, but she seemed just as confused as we were about what was actually available on the menu. We left hungry, annoyed, and wondering how many other people had made the same pilgrimage after seeing that Instagram post. At this point, I have to question whether @laoc.eats actually eats at the places being promoted or just photographs them. This was our second disappointing restaurant recommendation from that account, and it may be the last time we use it as a dining guide. Forty minutes there. Forty minutes back. One edible side dish. I should have just stayed home and made a sandwich.

When we left there were quite a few people that have come in after us. There's not a whole lot to the place. It looks like it used to be an old Taco Bell or something. There's also covered patio seating out front. There our menu screens that span above the entire counter with everything from Mexican food to breakfasts to burgers. They have a soda machine and also a machine with some aguas frescas. There is something here for everybody! We ordered a Fat Boy Burger, a quarter pound burger meal with fries, and a ground beef taco. I love ground beef tacos so I'll always order one if there's one on the menu just to try it. The burgers were good - - topped with cheese, lettuce, onion, and thousand Island dressing. The ground beef taco tasted very much like a Del Taco taco. The fries are those chunkier fries. All in all, the food was good. Someone came in after us and ordered the fried chicken meal and it looked so good, and another person ordered a breakfast that also looked pretty good. Something about a cold delicious beverage in a bottle makes the experience so much better. You don't need to wait long! If you don't have much time, you can order ahead. They have that option too. Even if you don't have that much time and you order there, it won't be long until the delicious meal is in your hands. I still prefer to eat there just because of the vibe and atmosphere. Keep in mind it is casual and leisurely. When they first opened, they only had a few tables, but since they've expanded their spot, they have a good amount of space for families and friends to gather.
