I always thought McDonalds was consistent at every location, until I stumbled across this one. Damn, McDonalds has never been more disgusting. Let's see how it went down.. I came at 11pm, there was one car before me. It took 5 minutes for someone to speak through the intercom, and another 5 for someone to come to the payment window. When I got there, they didn't know what order I placed. How is that possible since the car in front of me was gone and there was no one else? I ordered a filet o fish and mcnuggets, and they asked if my order was a cheeseburger and fries. Wtf? I did also repeat the order twice at the intercom. Then, after another long wait I finally get my food.. And it was the grossest McDonalds I've ever had. The fish in filet o fish was hard and undercooked. The nuggets were alright, but not the usual tasty stuff. I don't think I'll be going to McDonalds for a while after this crappy experience. It's probably a good thing for my body, god knows what they make their food with. Try to avoid this location. It's just gross. read more

Someone needs to fire the managers at this location. Why would an employee of any business ever do this? I went to order with my friend at McDonald's. We got two separate orders he got an order for him and his friend and I got my own separate order. When we got to the window he asked for two ranch and got them. Then I asked for two sweet-and-sour and got nothing. neither one of us got chicken nuggets but the person at the window said that she already gave me two sauces. I explained that there was two separate orders made and I wanted sauces for my order and that he had already gotten sauces for his order. That didn't change anything though she still wouldn't give me a sauce and said she was a manager so I asked to speak with the other manager and the other manager gave me a hard time as well and told me that she won't give me any sauces and less I ordered chicken nuggets. so I finally convinced her to give me one size but I wanted to just like my friend got for his order and she would not treat us the same because we had two separate orders and because we were not two different cars. I told her about the two separate orders thing and explained it and explain that it was bad business and that I was going to cancel my order and she just walked away. Then everybody ignored me for a good minute and a half to two minutes while the people behind me started honking. Then the first girl came back to the window and said, "what are you still doing here?". Then I canceled my order and she told me to drive around the corner and I told her know to give me my money and waited while she got me my money and took my order back. So these McDonald's employees would rather lose business, piss off not only me as a customer but my friend who's going to tell his friends, and piss off the customers behind me and all of us are going to tell, on average, at least 5 people about our bad experience and I left this review, all over a .30 sauce. BAD BUSINESS!!!!!! They should be fired and that company policy should be changed. Bad business bad business bad business!!! Every business knows never to piss off a customer that you make a profit off of, especially if it's over 30 cents!!! So stupid! Some people like more sauce and some don't like any sauce. I don't even know if this is a real company policy or just some dumb employees. Either way it needs to be addressed. I'm sure I'm not the first person to have this happen. I have heard many complaints from friends about sauce issues. No reason to piss off or lose customers. I barely go to McDonald's anymore already because I have had this problem before with sauce. If this happens on my next visit I'm banning myself from going here anymore and never taking my friends here. I'm the friend with a car so I control where we go eat. Normally I don't rate chains because they are pretty standard. For the price the food is alright, facilities are average, you know what you are getting and you can rely on that. Well... skip this location. It's horrible. For a McDonald's that is (since we all know it's horrible to begin with). I wanted a coffee so my girlfriend and I stopped by the drive through. They were out of the mccafe I wanted so I settled for a black coffee. My girlfriend, being vegetarian, ordered an egg white breakfast sandwich. When we rolled up we asked if they could throw away a small bit of trash for us and they refused. Not a big deal but I've never been told no before. We then were almost given a different order, and the girl at the window almost forgot to give us our change. We got into the food once we reached the freeway and guess what? The decor is unusually modern and fresh. The store appears to be cleaned regularly. The fries are good but always oversalted (this is a corporate recipe issue). With everything going on in this world I have been trying to lighten the mood for my 5yr old son and have been getting him an ice cream cone when he has been good and done his chores from this location for weeks now. The last time we were there was 3-4 days ago at most. When I went there tonight, J0el the manager lied to me and told me they have not sold cones in over 3 weeks which was a blatant lie. After I convinced my upset son to just get a cup of plain vanilla, they charged me for a sundae and when I asked why I didn't get charged for the plain vanilla I was told by him to take it or never come back and he stormed away from the window and called me a racist white slur and called me an a$$hole. EVERYONE BAN THIS GARBAGE LOCATION until they fire this ignorant human being. The best part is this location constantly makes mistakes and screws up orders but I continue to support them, really disheartening. Why can't we just all be nice to one another and be truthful?? Go a few miles to the Kanan location trust me. This is absolutely the worst McDonald's with the worst customer service. I ordered in drive-thru and they had me pull over to the side. It feels like this place cannot get it right. One week after this store was rude to me and after speaking with another manager, I still refuse to purchase anything from here. Today, my daughter went through the drive thru and purchased a chicken sandwich for my son's lunch. When she picked him up from school she asked him how was his sandwich. He said, "It was okay, but they forgot to put the bottom of the bun with my sandwich." We have had it with this place! I am sure if I asked to speak with a manager or call corporate nothing would be done. I spoke with a manager yesterday and I can see why this place is getting such poor reviews. Some of these problems come from upper management. It is pointless to call the store and inform them of their mistake. I am sure they have every excuse to not reimburse or they will not replace the sandwich. The person I spoke with made a statement that people just like to rip on Mc Donald's. I beg to differ. What kind of fast food restaurant doesn't have people to take your order and forces you to use the very inconvenient kiosk to order food? Oh I know, a McDonald's in Calabasas. The kiosk is a VERY inconvenient convenience . The majority of the people who eat at McDonald's are low-income and usually fairly uneducated and now I have to stand behind these people and watch them attempt to read and operate a kiosk. The kiosk is the WORST idea possible. How can you possibly tell me it takes less time for a customer to have to search for their simple cheesburger then it would be to just tell the minimim wage worker and have them push a button that they probably have memorized. I had to stand and watch incompetent after incompetent try and order a simple happy meal for so long I couldn't stand it anymore and went across the street to Jack-n-the-box. I go to this McDonalds a couple times a week for breakfast. The drive-thru cashier I see all of the time is very nice, and the staff in general is very polite. My food has always been good without any issues. Yesterday I ordered my usual egg mc muffin but found out after I got to work that they had given me a sausage mc muffin instead --- of which I am not a fan at all. I was annoyed and disappointed since I was seriously hungry and didn't have time to get anything else all day. I didn't think I would get much help, but I went back in the afternoon with the muffin and talked to the manager. He offered to give me a free one if I came back today.. I was kind of skeptical. The manager this morning was extremely nice about it and really went above and beyond to make up for it. I really appreciated the customer service I received, as I thought I might just get laughed at for bringing a breakfast back! I have had a continuing problem at this location with them shorting product. I order a large coffee drink and get one that is considerably less than full. I complain to the server and am told, that is the measure. I complain to the management of the store and they send me a gift card for a free hamburger, big deal! The food quality at this McDonald's was always a cut above other McDonald's on past visits. The decor is very much better than most I've seen. I think the management and staff put a lot of emphasis on cleanliness, since when I last went the staff was washing seats, polishing windows, cleaning grilles and fryers, to the exclusion of customer service. After standing at the cash register for over 5 minutes watching this scurrying and scrubbing, someone finally deigned to offer service -- by looking around me and taking the order of the person behind me. After taking that order, the staff returned to cleaning, and ignoring me. I finally left without buying anything. Face it, folks, there are a lot of McDonald's restaurants, and fancy shiny stuff is nice, but McDonald's sells food to the public, not shiny cookers and windows and stool legs. Will I go back? This is the WORST McDonalds I have ever been too! I have given it many chances since I live up the street from it. (about 2 minutes away) Its 24/7 now which is good but the food is horrible, every time I go the employees are rude, mean and not helpful. All the night shift employees are dont look clean...I dont really want them to even make my food. Last night was the LAST time I will ever go to this location because the food wasn't even cooked fully, the fries are always soggy and I found a long curly HAIR in my cheeseburger! The employees are so rude...This location needs to hire more "normal" people to work there who actually take pride on looking decent like showering and cleaning their hands, they need to make the food better because every other location has the same good food. This location is TERRIBLE! I almost want to speak with the general manager...stay far far away.
