Where do I start. My son and I have eating at this McDonald's many times. Never really had problems until today. As a vet I traveled 29 miles on a camping trip with my friends to clear things as they build up throughout the year. My wife drive me and my children to grab a bite to eat before we kick back to watch a movie. We order, they have us pull forward and wait for someone to bring out our food. In that time, my wife is throwing away paper cleaning out her cup holder. She made the mistake of throwing away the receipt. Not knowing we will need it, we take off toward home. We arrive and start to handout the food to each family member and it was then we realized they forgot something, my daughter 10 piece nugget. I tell my wife I will head back and grab my keys taking my car not my wife's car that we original drove. I pull into the drive through, stated that I was here because one of the items was missing from my order. The voice hesitated and told me to pull forward. (Now I have never.............. had an issue letting someone know at any McDonald's something was missing and not received it.) she ask if I had the receipt (remember my wife through it away by accident) I said no but I have the ticket number with the items on it. The manager then tell me if I could show her a Copy of my bank transactions to prove I purchased it. Now I'm feeling like me being an African American may have something to do with this be cause I have never been treated like this at any McDonald's, let that be known!!!! I pull forward to go check the trash for the receipt but realize the trash can was empty. I walk around the corner and there is a young woman cleaning a window and a gentleman in a blue shirt talking to another young woman. While on the phone with my wife, the manger, I later found out heard me on the phone with my wife never ask me if I needed something. I ask the young woman who was very!!!!!! Helpful if I could please speak to a manger. She point to the gentleman in the blue who is now upset that I messed up his conversation with the girl. He ask the same question the first manager ask if I have the receipt. I stated I gave her what I had. Now at this point I had to tell myself they just doing their jobs. The manger had me wait over 25 min and never came out. I walk over to my car to get a pen to write down the corporate number, waited by my car for another 15 min and HE NEVER CAME OUT!!!!!!!!!!! I had to ask the wonderful employee that already help me to go get the manger again! He approached the door and tell me they are still working on and if I want sauce. I felt a special kind of hurt. Serving my country and thinking of my lost brothers I didn't need this. I really need someone from your corporate office to contact me ASAP!!!! I do apologize for the long review. read more

McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Calimesa, California

Looking for a mcdonalds open at 5am to grab a quick breakfast. pull up to the drive through at 5:05 and all the lights are off and seems like no one is inside. i call the store to ask what time they will be opening. the lady on the phone said they had difficulties and couldnt take orders. we all know she was late to work. Its really sad to see how there are managers that are irresponsible leading such a huge corporation. I definietly understand being late to your job however when a customer asks for a wait time there should be an answer not just we are having diffuculties and cant take orders. read more

You can never leave with French fries from the window. You always have to pull forward. Somehow, the fries are old looking, it's crazy! I am not sure if I've ever been given the correct order in one stop. There is always something missing. They also never offer ketchup. If there was an option for zero stars, I would be clicking on it. The sad shame is that the employees usually get blamed. It's actually the franchise owner. They are basically like a slum lord. Last week I went through the drive-thru and ordered four Happy Meals. The lady hands me four drinks but three happy meals. So I told her you owe me one more Happy Meal. She started to argue and say no you only ordered 3. I showed her my receipt and tell her you just gave me four drinks I need another Happy Meal. She goes back and makes another Happy Meal. I opened it once I get home and realized it's not even what we had ordered. Then just this morning I go through the drive-thru and order a fruit and yogurt parfait. I open the parfait and noticed a foul odor. I flip over the cup and realized the parfait expired 2 days ago. They were playing Vivaldi; it stirred my heart, and made me recall my youthful days on the Lake of Geneva. The gentleman at the counter was beyond reproach, and quite well spoken. The McDonalds in Calimesa is filthy, you always have to wait to place your order & then it takes forever to get your food, short on staff. The only employee that enjoys her job is Marla. She always has a smile. The rest of the employees including the manager could care less. The Yucaipa McDonalds isn't much better. read more

The crew at this place are amazing. I am a regular customer at least go once a week. The employees at this restaurant work hard and are very respectful to the customers. This location is extremely busy and when the place is very busy it can get chaotic, mistakes can be made but that is human nature. I have noticed at night they are shortstaffed but they try to do their work as fast as they can and with a smile on their face. No need to be rude to them because they are just employees they are not the managers who do the schedule. Just be patient and respect them they are working as fast as they can. Our school bus broke down in their parking lot. Sixty three people, mostly children were invited in and welcomed by the manager and employees. They have water and ice cream to the children. I take my granddaughter to McDonalds once a week for a Happy Meal. It irritates me to no end when I'm asked, "is it for a girl or a boy". Is this 1950?!?! Girls can play with trucks and boys can play with My Little Pony. Toys don't have a gender. The employees are lazy all the way down to the management, except for a LITERAL few staff members. They have poor etiquette, poor customer service and are completely unprofessional. Time and time again they prepare your food including your drinks poorly, mean while this is what you're spending your hard earned money on so you would think that it's only fair that your $9 burger meal actually looks like a $9 burger meal, BUT when it doesn't and it isn't made properly to add insult to injury they down play the situation and rather than doing better they expect you to take your poor excuse of a meal and go on about your day AND! when you decide not to take what's given their entire demeanor changes especially when you ask for your order to be remade, new or fresh. Okay, I am so curious... What time does this restaurant close? It was closed about 11:15PM (Friday - 9/18/20), but your website says: 1:00AM? Could you let us know? Pigeon food. Always amazed how parents buy this crap just to shut their kids up. If you drive a large truck or SUV, better off parking and going inside. Drive thru was designed for golf carts. Geez this place with elderly mafia, There all these great work spaces provided here at this location but only two power outlets in the ENTIRE dinning area of which one of them is ALWAYS taken by the same group of old ladies that seem to be sitting by it nearly every one of the 5am to 11pm dining room hours. Not sure if they're homeless or something. And they protect the outlet and two adjoining booths like it's their own personal living area. They're almost as bad as MS13 but in support top pantyhose. I'm all about Brand loyalty, but Com'on folks! If McDonald's trying to foster a Starbucks type atmosphere here and get folks to come in and eat and work (spend time and order more food/drinks), there has to be more outlets for us to use to do work on our laptops and/or other devices. Also, on a side note... The McNuggets tasted a bit old and chewy. Normally they are crispy and flaky. And the WiFi is right about 1.5Mbps with nearly no upload bandwidth if any. read more

Rude, rude, rude. I work in emergency medicine so I drive to work very early in the morning. I came here yesterday at 610 am, they were open because I've been here before at 545 am and they were open; I sat at the speaker for 6 minutes without anyone coming on and saying, "hi, can I help you?" Nothing, so I drove out and as I drove past the drive they window to exit the 2 fatties working the drive they waved at me and were laughing. I rarely go here but I have officially stopped. I drove to Carl's Jr. just down the street and the very sweet woman at their drive thru was kind, said "good morning welcome to Carl's Jr." and even smiled at me when I got to the window. First when I got there, I wanted a McRib because every McDonald's is advertising the Mcrib meal and get another McRib for a dollar. But they said they are not doing that. So I got something else. Then the ketchup container was empty so had to get ketchup packets. Then after my food I wanted a milk shake so when I went to order one they said the ice cream machine was down, so I proceeded to instead order 2 apple pies because every McDonald's on the face of the earth has 2 pies for a dollar, but not this one, they were 96 cents each. I'm from Loa Angeles and was staying at the hotel next door decided I wanted a late night snack. All McDonald's I've come acrossed are pretty basic but there was something about this one that stuck out....THE SERVICE...FRIENDLY SERVICE ACTUALLY. I went through the drive through and the young woman who took my order was polite, outgoing, personable enough so that she made me ask her name when I got to the window...Suzanne was so unbelievably friendly and polite, very accomidating to my pup who insisted on yapping at her but she remained polite. Her co worker Casandra was extremely friendly as well. I'm so used to getting basic generic service at McDonald's I was blown away at the friendliness of these 2 employees. I'd return to this location just for the service alone. Thank you ladies for giving a burst of politness and bright smiling faces to McDonald's I wish they were all as friendly as you both.
