The fries where piping hot and crispy. The fries were actually really good.. They had a nice coating and crisp to them.. I also had an ice tea (brewed ice tea) and it was refreshing for a hot day.. I was in there early for lunch so there wasn't very many people inside.. My server was very friendly and attentive.. The restaurant was clean and the restrooms were as well.. Would I come back? Yes.. The prices were reasonable especially when food in the same parking lot is somewhat close in price, go to fire rock and enjoy the ambiance..

I peaked inside and said hello, and this female staff member lost her marbles and basically said how unacceptable it was that I did that and basically chased me out of the restaurant. I only did that because we had my 83 year old handicap grandfather and our small dog with us on a hot day so I was hoping to just get some water for both of them. Instead she continued to have the worst attitude I ever experienced from a restaurant staff member. To the owners, I highly recommend you watch tape of her attitude towards me, and watch my poor grandfather have to hobble out of your establishment due to your terrible employee. She claimed to be the only one working so it should be easy to figure out who she is, she didn't have a name tag on. She should be fired. We were there today, which is 6-1-26 at 11:40am if you have any aspiration to better your business, I encourage you to watch camera footage of her terrible attitude towards your customers. We'll never be back but you should honestly fire her.

We opted for brisket, ribs, chicken and swapped out the pulled pork for jalapeno sausage. This included 4 side dishes and honestly I know they're just sides but it definitely wasn't enough for four adults to enjoy. The large platter says it easily feeds six to eight people but the sides definitely only feed three. The brisket was good compared to California standards. It was moist, flavorful, and cooked just right but lacked a great smoky taste. The loaded fries were another standout. They were absolutely delicious, and the rich cheese sauce paired with the added jalapeños made them even better. Those were easily my favorite items on the menu. Unfortunately, the ribs were inconsistent. Some bites were tender, while others were extremely tough and difficult to eat. The food overall was also much greasier than expected, which took away from the enjoyment of the meal. The service left a lot to be desired. We had to keep asking for basic items throughout our visit, and our drinks didn't arrive until we had asked twice. Having to repeatedly remind the staff for things that should have come automatically made the experience frustrating. The seating arrangement was another disappointment. Our party of four was squeezed around a tiny table, even though there were larger tables available. To make matters worse, a group of six was seated at a three-top table directly behind us, blocking the aisle. People were constantly trying to squeeze between the tables, making the dining area feel cramped and uncomfortable. Considering the price, I expected much better. The portions didn't justify the cost, especially when combined with the inconsistent food quality and service issues. While the brisket and loaded fries were excellent, the tough ribs, greasy food, cramped seating, repeated service problems, and high prices made this a disappointing overall experience. I hope Cornerstone BBQ improves these areas because the restaurant has the potential to be much better.

They treat their employees like shit. They yell at them to the managers job when they just gossip and sit on their asses sitting on the phones. The names of those managers are KC and Rachel. I have seen them bully the people that has not done anything to them. They do nothing but bring me down when. Was working there and both of them got me fired for complaining about how they were treating me like shit and their store manager Joey B plays favorites with them. They are only favoring high school students to be promoted and never protomed the ones that have been there the longest. Took my Grandson here for lunch. Food was barely warm. A lady came in carrying a dog. It was a pet because it was on a leash and was not wearing a vest. She ordered at the counter, received her food, and proceeded to a table where she put the dog on the floor and gave it some of her food. There was a sign on the window by the entry door that said "No Pets". I went to ask for the manager and told him about the problem. He didn't see the lady with the dog, even though he was milling around behind the counter talking to employees, and the clerk who waited on her did not see that she had a dog!!! It's all the same, except this one got a girl that looks like she's always withdrawing from meth working that 2nd drive thru window at nights. Get rid of her. Do you merge back into the main lane, or stay in the outside lane? I sat there for a few minutes before realizing no one was coming out. After about five minutes, I ended up parking and heading inside to figure out what I was supposed to do. Inside, I was warmly greeted by Michael at the counter, who truly saved the experience. He explained that the outside lane is only used when it's busy and when they have team members outside--typically during daylight hours. Since it gets dark by 5 p.m. in the winter. I think that adding a cone, a clear sign, or even a speaker to communicate would help prevent confusion. I was told that some guests have waited 10-20 minutes without realizing the lane was closed lol. Despite the hiccup, Michael turned the visit into a positive one. He confirmed my order, noticed my drink was missing, and made it on the spot. My order was a mixed box combo with extra Cane's sauce, no coleslaw, and an extra toast. Everything was fresh, hot. Going forward, I'll stick to the main drive-thru lane unless there's an attendant outside. Bonus point: this location stays open late past midnight, making it a great casual hangout spot once spring and summer roll around. A minor learning curve for the drive-thru, but excellent service and great food. Yucaipa needed this Cane's, and I'm glad it's finally here.
