The worst service I have ever had...ordered on Door Dash, and wasn't given an entire meal or McFlurry: yet when I called they took no accountability, and the guy even laughed saying it wasn't their fault; when in fact it is entirely their fault. They have to seal up the "completed" order to ensure nothing has been tampered with for the door dasher: so in no was was this the dashers fault. I called back to talk to a supervisor about the incident and being hung up on and she said her name was LJ (not sure if she was being truthful) and she too hung up on me. Stopped here on the way to Arizona, it's McDonald's so there is not a lot of room to exceed expectations, everything is supposed to be made the same and taste the same no matter which McDonald's you go to and in this case they met expectations. The Sausage McMuffin with Eggs and Hash Browns tasted good and were cooked properly. Wait time was nominal and the staff was friendly and attentive. I have only had positive experiences at this location until now. I truly feel bad for any employees who have to work when the manager Laura is in charge. There was an issue with our app order being found on their system so we were a little delayed at the first drive thru window which is not an issue for us. We are extremely patient and understanding that mistakes do happen and it's nothing to overreact about. However it was disturbing to hear an employee yelling at everyone else. I don't mean speaking loudly and delegating tasks, I mean YELLING like your parents would yell at you if you crashed their car into the living room.... Once we pulled up to the second window we were also yelled at...by Laura...the manager. She asked who our order was for and we provided her the details to which she YELLED at us again stating... " I need to know what your ORDER is! Not your order number!!" My boyfriend and I were shocked at how this woman was treating us, even the new employee who was training looked at the manager and said "WOW!" It is clear Laura has difficulty handling stressful situations and takes that frustration out anyone in her vicinity. I'm just glad we were able to drive away. We have purchased food from this McDonald's several times over the years. It's never been fast and sometimes the orders are messed up. The food is McDonald's. Today we used the app to order 3 happy meals for the grandkids. Not only was the order not ready they lost it entirely claiming that we must have ordered from a different McDonald's. The order clearly stated it was 1199 Calimesa Blvd. We reordered the exact meals and checked the receipt. Needless to say they messed the order up. One of the meals snd all of the fries were missing. Upon our return it took 15 minutes to get waited on but their mistake was not questioned. Not sure what I'd going on at this location but the level of confusion there seems incredible. This franchise has been open for years. Fortunately there is a burger king, a jack in the box, and a Carl's Jr. within like a quarter mile. I can't imagine going back to this McDonald's any time soon. read more

Have ever gone through McDonald's drive-through in Calimesa? 100% don't recommend. I don't know why I keep going there as it is extremely disorganized. Today when I showed up there were two cars by the windows none ordering. I went to order and the man taking my order asked me to wait. In the meantime on the other side two cars have shown up and ordered and moved and on I still have not been waited on. I got out of the line and called the manager who informed me that there are two separate people taking orders and the one on my side was probably pouring drinks. If there is not enough people to run two lines then close a line so that customers are not ignored. This is a reflection of the management or lack there of. I came here 06/14/19 and whoever was working decided to ruin my night. My gf ordered fries, mcnuggets, a mcdouble, and two mcchickens. I was eating a mcchicken, when i noticed there wasn't any sauce. I got to a bite near the center and there was an overwhelming amount of sauce, and a flavor that was indescribably bad. My bodies first reaction was that it was something I shouldn't have in my mouth. I almost threw up then, around 8:45pm. I ended up throwing up at 11pm instead. No alcohol needed! read more

I went into the store to grab breakfast. The car line was long so I thought I would walk in instead. After I placed my order the young man helped an elderly lady answer questions about what she could buy, what it contains and what it costs. She was concerned about costs. When she made her decision the young man pulled out his wallet to help her pay for it. The woman was like "oh, thank you but I can pay". He said it wasn't a problem but the lady did pay for her meal. It was just nice to see him offer to help someone he thought would be in needed. Long story short, Cory was my cashier at the drive thru and that guy rocks! He was super friendly and polite and he went above and beyond his job duty. That guy needs to be a trainer for new hires!
