I ordered a breakfast item and when I got to the window they said it's not on the menu and then said maybe the person didn't hear

First let me just say that paying $4.69 for a large BOx of Fries is ridiculous! BUT if you enjoy them Spend the money. Just Know that pretty Red Box is NOT what your order will come in at this location, they'll be served in a white lil bag like the medium and small. ALL the window displays and advertising show them in that pretty red box so i'm thinking if we complain enough we MIGHT see a change , Maybe. also the Ladies restroom was filthy! i suggest finding a different McD's because this one was a complete ZERO ... This McDonalds did it right today. Stopped in Castaic to eat and use the restroom, while on our way to SD. Ordered through the McD's app using their deals (got 2 Big Macs, 2 Filet o Fishes, 2 medium fries, and a 20 pc Chicken McNuggets for $20 - SCORE!) As soon as my kids and I got out of the restroom, our food was ready. Everything in our order was right and fresh!! Food tasted great, and we had happy kids ready to continue our trek to Sunny San Diego. I'd also like to note that the restroom was nice, clean, and fully stocked with soap, toilet paper, and seat covers. Great rest stop area for sure! read more

There are better places to eat than here. So from beginning to end, there was no customer service in sight. I enter in the drive-thru, and the employee just bluntly asked how he can help as if I'm there to bother him. There after paying and receiving my drink, I'm told to pull up to the number one spot to wait for my order. FIFTEEN MINUTES later and I'm still waiting for my order. It's obvious they forgot about me, because they had someone else pull in behind me to wait, AND SHE RECEIVED HER ORDER BEFORE ME. At this point I have seen EVERYONE behind me receive there order and leave. I call to see where my order was, AND THE MANAGER HANGS UP ON ME. Then when another car received their order, I tried asking the employee walking if he knew what was happening, AND HE JUST WAIVED ME OFF TELLING ME THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON IT. How does it take fifteen minutes to make two burgers? Then they had the gall to tell me they are giving me a large fries for having to wait. You mean giving me my order since THAT'S WHAT I ORDERED! Supervisor Elita is horrible at providing proper customer service. She blamed me for getting my order incorrect then had the audacity to say that she couldn't hear me because I was in the passenger side. She went on to slamming the drive thru window on me because she could not take accountability for her mistake. Why would people like that work at a fast food chain if that is the kind of attitude they are going to take on customers. She is also teaching other representatives there that they could treat customers like she does. What does that show, that she is unfit for the job and can't properly teach her personnel how to treat customers. I am appalled that McDonalds allows this kind of people to work for them. This was the best McDonald's I've ever had. Hands down. I live in LA and was driving back into the city when I stopped here expecting the standard McDonalds experience. This food was the freshest, hottest and most satisfying McDonalds meal I've ever had. I would drive back out from LA for this. read more

Once again, the management has no control in the kitchen. I ordered a simple meal at 3:07pm. It's 3:22 and no idea about when I will get my meal. Edit: It took another 14 minutes to get my food, and if I hadn't asked for new drinks, they were trying to give me the 2 sweaty, ice have melted drinks that had been sitting there for 15 minutes. If I could give less than one star I would. I let grand kids order themselves at drive thru. One burger was supposed to be bun and meat only. I brought the error to the attention of the fella who took our order. Female supervisor comes over and demands to see both burgers. Opens them up with her bare hands- yuck. Starts raising her voice at me saying one burger is correct! I calmly asked if I could just get the requested plain burger. Shes still yelling. Fast friendly service. Always get my order within minutes and coffee is piping hot. They recently renovated this location and now there's a big indoor playground area and their bathrooms are clean. Can't complain this round. I've been here before and had my order messed up in the drive through and had to come back to sort it out. This round they didn't want to bring me my drink cup. They expected me to help myself from the counter area which felt creepy. Then they gave me the wrong sauces which I rang into the computer myself. Food was really good. It's McDonald's so average is about as good as it gets, food was standard McDonald's quality, speed of service was acceptable, we went to the cashier and she led us to one of the self serve kiosks, put our order in and then since we were paying cash she led us back to the register to pay. Just take my order and money at the same place, so much easier. Oh and yes don't forget to teach the customer how to use the kiosk that will one day take your job. Odd experience I have to say. So odd I feel the need to review this McDonald's. Well the other reviewers are correct. This place is super slow. After a long wait they ran out of chicken tenders, my girlfriend returns with a free Frappuccino. Free stuff sure why not? But if you're trying to buy us out with a frozen coffee instead of delicious breaded fried chicken think again. I have to say the fries are hot, the random chirping noise that keeps going off (similar to a birds desperate mating call) is beyond annoying. The bathroom is the only pro, there are 5 urinals. Pass on the food here and save your time on your road trip because they will consume it. read more

The line was extremely long, the lady at the register who took my order almost rushed me. I ordered two scrambled egg meals, an iced coffee, an egg mc muffin meal, and a strawberry-banana smoothie. Took around 30 minutes. They asked me to pull over into the 1 spot and wait for them to finish my order. They gave me the iced coffee and smoothie. However, I had to wait 8 more minutes for them to finish my order. They brought out the scrambled eggs but it was dumped into one container, and they provided only one fork. Along came the egg McMuffin. They forgot the orange juice so we asked them to go get it but apparently a simple task took another 5 minutes. Then we finally left, but little did I know, they forgot the hash brown that was supposed to come with the meal. Absolutely terrible, worst service, DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT. read more

I Just left and the manager took our order gave it to us thru the drive thru window. He was in such a rush it felt he was kicking us out. He didn't offer us ketchup or bbq or anything. And just slammed the window in me and my family. When we stayed to ask him for bbq sauce he acted surprised, like how dear we not drive away. And asked if we had two orders. I went to this McDonald's at 8pm tonight and ordered a sundae and ice cream cone. Went I drove up to the 1st window to pay I was ignored (the two employees were standing inside talking and just glanced at me). I then drove up to the 2nd window only to be told that they didn't have any ice cream. I figured they had cleaned the ice cream machine and didn't want to bother with having to clean it again. They could have saved me 5 minutes at the 1st window instead of ignoring me. This was the 2nd time this McDonald's has done this to me in the 5 months I have lived in the area and I have only been there 2 times. If they were really out of ice cream all the employees would have known and I would have been told upon ordering. I went to Jack In The Box and bought a few shakes instead. Was surprised that I have not written a review for this place. So here is a short one. Good place to stop for a restroom break before heading up the mountain on your way up north. It is right off the freeway. This McDonald's branch can get crazy busy, but service is usually quick. Normally, the restaurant is pretty clean. Service is fine. When I asked for a refund they said there wasn't much of a difference between the small drinks and medium drinks in which i said a $5 up charge is a bit much for something I didn't want. This place was packed on Sunday morning. My husband waited 15 minutes for a sausage biscuit and hash brown to-go, and they messed up and gave him an Egg McMuffin. Considering the wait, he threw the sandwich away. The hash brown was warm. I found the bathroom okay. Not sparkling, not covered in dung. One stall had a busted lock. One of the servers named Anna walked around the restaurant as customers were eating to solicit positive feedback for McDonalds corporate. I saw her collecting customer receipts after customers left them on the tables or trays. She approached my friends and all the other diners to ask them to take the receipt and write a positive review for herself on the survey. I felt that this was unethical because she was taking customer receipts and attempting to get OTHER customers to submit positive reviews for herself. read more
