This is the family's "home" Starbucks. We have so many memories spending countless of hours here with our kids hanging out, driving through and picking up. We've gotten to know many of the team members throughout the years. Service has been consistently friendly and orders accurate overall. Seating is limited, but comfortable. It's been well kept, with decor changing periodically. Parking is not an issue in the plaza. Early pick-up of my birthday coffee before starting my workday has been a longstanding yearly tradition. But with the kids all grown up and settled in other states, that job is now with the husband. Today I was surprised when he arrived carrying my birthday coffee, pastry and a birthday hat -- so cute! The Starbucks served as a good rest stop for us on our way back home. It was a comfortable place to take a break, and I really appreciated being able to sit down and relax. One of the highlights for me was the mural on the wall, which I thought was very captivating and gorgeous and added a nice touch to the space. The store itself was not very large or especially spacious, but it was enough for our needs and had plenty of comfortable seating. The quality of the drinks was consistent, just like what you would expect from any other Starbucks location. We also tried their Cinnamon Coffee Cake, which was served to us warm. The coffee cake was a little bit too sweet, but it had a strong cinnamon flavor, which I liked. It was also soft, moist, delicious, and it paired really well with coffee. I would get this cake again. The staff who helped us were incredibly friendly and helpful. I also liked that I was able to find a great souvenir, as they had mugs with Los Angeles or California on them, and we ended up buying one. Overall, we had a pretty good experience at this Starbucks coffee shop. read more

The worst Starbucks I've ever been too. They have horrible customer service. They made my daughter pay for something in order to get a water that they put in a paper type cup. Told her she couldn't have a water because they can't even charge her for it nor did they have bottle waters available to purchase. I spend a lot of money at Starbucks but will not be buying from this location again! They were extremely rude when it came to giving it to her even though we bought something. They never let us know her water was sitting on the counter so when we asked for it the girl rudely said it's over there. I love Starbucks but with bad attitudes and unfriendly staff it makes for a bad experience. read more

I've been coming here for years! Inside is clean! Though this is a smaller location, it's quite fast even with a line. When I worked nearby I came here literally every morning and ordered the same thing. They always have very friendly workers. Some of the lovely ladies that worked the drive-thru on the days I'd come got to know my order and always greeted me like an old friend and would sometimes write nice things on my cups and I think those kinds of workers need a raise!! read more

Extremely rude customer service. We made a stop 3 hours in on our 6 hour road trip to use the bathroom and get something to drink. Was there with our service dog and service dog in training (whose a puppy) and off the bat they were extremely rude about them. I told them they were service dogs and offered to show them the card. When my brother went back in to get a straw he overheard this female worker making rude remarks about my puppy being jumpy and a service dog. Unbelievable. read more

They forgot to add vanilla syrup on our drink and we went back to ask for it and small blonde girl responded very rudely with "I guess" and then proceeded to say with attitude next time wait at the speaker when there was nobody there. Employee needs an attitude check. read more

It's come to my understanding that starbucks has changed their policies about the bathroom and water, this starbucks is the star of castaic and you have us regulars coming almost every day. i'm tired of people coming in and harassing the employees over policies they don't have control of!!! If you don't like the policies and the new cups then go to a different store where it's going to be the same thing for you, or go to the pollo loco that's right next to the starbucks for the restroom. It's a business and us as customers need to respect their policies and respect the workers as well. read more

My friend and I found this Starbucks along our route as we headed to LA for a family wedding. I was not surprised to find it somewhat busy even in the middle of the day. But we managed to take a break for a blueberry scone and non fat iced mochas. I was able to use my prepaid gift cards which helped us out financially! LOL! Anyway, it was nice to stop, even for a short moment to regroup and replenish our energy for the long and stressful trip ahead. This place accomplished what we came for! The times I been here, customer service has been great. I would go to the drive-thru and the employee would say their name and then ask my name and what I want to drink. I ordered an Iced Chestnut Praline Latte. Service was quick and the employee giving out the drinks always had a smile. read more

I ordered a grande iced caramel latte. It tastes like an original. On top of that there was a hole in my cup, but rather than pouring it into a new cup they just put it in another cup (double cup). So as I tried to drink it, it spilled all over me and my car. Very annoying because they weren't even busy during that time. read more

Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks... Until its not. This is a common stop for me on my weekly travels, usually in the hour before close. What I like about this location ia that its always clean, stocked and consistent. Stephen is working most nights I pass through and he is always pleasant and goes the extra mile. After suffering on the 405 its nice to see happy staff. They also pay attention here. I was looking at the different "hot" mugs and while restocking he spoke out and told me to let him know if I had any questions about the products. As I sit and partake in my protein box (thanks Starbucks from saving me from French Fries) the staff is all working, stocking and communicating professionally. They aren't texting lol. This will continue to be my prefered Starbucks in the area. read more

I came in today 4/19 at 8:40pm since I have a pretty long trailer I couldn't go into there drive through and she was so kind to take my order through there window since they had already closed the lobby since they close at 9pm. Barista had to ask again what my order was after I ordered. I repeated myself and also asked her to let her manager know about the cockroach on the floor near the seating area. She remembered that, however, the staff lead didn't feel it was important enough to take care of immediately. Seems they would rather the health dept. come inspect their store instead. I've NEVER seen this at a Starbucks (any public establishment actually). My drinks came and one had to be re-made, imagine that! Apparently, the Barista still couldn't recall how though. The staff lead asked me how it should be made and I told her to ask her employee. Finally...the staff lead asked me where the roach was and then swept it up. Where there is one there is more so it really doesn't solve the problem when you don't sweep the entire area. It took a manager who didn't introduce himself as one and had a bad cold or something to ask me if I could show him where it was with a napkin in hand haha If I wasn't working, I would have asked for my money back instead of the hassle and subjecting myself and minor guest to an unclean environment and illness, but I don't have a choice - we don't dare use the restroom cuz I can just imagine the Yelp I'd do on that lol JUST wow Sbux, just WOW!! read more

We love this Starbucks off Lake Hughes Rd exit on I 5. Service is always good! Bathrooms clean! I accidentally left my purse there this last visit and the staff was so helpful and friendly! This is always our home away from home when we travel I 5, which we do often! Highly recommend making it a stop before you ascend the Grapevine! read more

I went thru the drive thru and I asked the gal at the window who name was Jenna I asked her if there were any black reusable cups and she stated yes there are a few of you like you can come in the store to purchase instead of letting me purchase thru the drive thru there was no one in line behind me so it was not like I was holding up a line or anything. So I got my order which I order a egg protein box and the grapes were super mushy and just not fresh at all I couldn't even eat them some of the apples were brown I couldn't go back to return because I was about 20 miles away when I finally got to have my snack. Just overall bad experience at this Starbucks location. I did get off and purchase my reusable cups in just still in disbelief that Jenna refused to sell them thru the drive thru.
