Everyone should try this place. You walk up to a counter, there's a huge menu on the wall staring at you. Rude lady at the window told us we couldn't order at the window so she made us drive through the entire drive thru even though there was absolutely NO LINE. She continued to make us sit in the drive thru for 5 more minutes, AGAIN no line. asked for her name and she refused. I ordered 2 plain cheeseburgers on 7-10-19 at 5:25 at the drive through. I asked again at the window if they were plain. I was assured by the employee they were plain. I began to drive off without checking and bit into a cheeseburger filled with ketchup and mustard. Yuck!! I'm sure they aren't used to people coming back when they made a mistake. She seemed irritated. The other lady inside threw it away in front of me. As MCD's go, this one is deluxe! For families, the indoor play area is 3 times the size you normally find, and appears quite clean. Also, plenty of seating, even booths right inside the play area. The food is what you would expect, but the decor is quite nice -- even a stone gas log fireplace. Lastly, an employee went out of her way to find the Puss in Boots toy my daughter really wanted even though it wasn't the toy of the week. Nice customer service! read more

Then we had to wait 14 minutes just for two four piece chicken nuggets we ordered since they only rang up one. So we pulled off and they didn't give us any sauces, so we went back and got them. My family and I will not be returning anytime soon, the overall cleanliness and atmosphere is VERY POOR! It's really bad when you question whether or not you should take a shower after visiting this establishment! The edges of my hamburger bun were rock hard and the entire burger itself was lukewarm and clearly had been sitting under a warmer for who knows how long. It was inedible. McDonalds or McDowells? This place is horrible. They have certain McDonald standards that were met...fries were okay, HI-C was the same and the cups looked like McDonalds cups. Other than that this place was a disappointment. Seemed to be understaffed, the staff there looked messy (all in different ratty tshirts) and the place was a mess!! The only reason we were there is because of the playground. Having to leave the house for 2 house for a house showing will force many parents with 3 kids 6 and under to make a deal with the devil. My devil was McDonalds. As a consumer I assume that all McDonalds make tons of cash...especially ones in crowded locations like this one. I can't image this place is doing that well. Avoid this place if possible!! If you are reading this and either own or manage this location please do the world a favor and find a new line of work. This is not a good McDonald's. You need to check and triple check your orders everytime. Staff working the drive thru don't care if they get your order right or not. Last three times they tried to stick me with the order of the person behind me and seemed miffed that I wanted what I ordered and not a diet coke. Which brings me to another complaint. Drinks, apparently they are optional these days when you order a meal. Guy at the pickup forgets to hand off the drinks about every time and looks bewildered and upset that your still sitting in the drive thru line waiting for the drink he is supposed to give you. The workers at McDonalds today were exceptionally rude to my friends and me. We ordered a nugget meal and they forgot our fries. We then went back through the line again not two minutes later and we told them respectfully that they'd forgotten the fries and would like a medium fry. We showed our receipt that stated we'd ordered a meal and they checked our bags to confirm we hadn't gotten fries. They didn't believe us and started cursing us out (we are all 16 year old girls). Eventually, the manager threw the fries in our car very angrily. They never tried to be accommodating for their own mistake and we never strayed from respectful attitudes. Also, they weren't even wearing masks. If anyone knows the manager of the Blakeney McDonalds please let me know so we can expose her. terrible service and poor management. every time i come to this location there is always an issue, whether it be that i placed an online order and it was "partially paid for" even after i show them proof of my order and my bank statement, or that you can only have two online orders through the drive thru. the workers are consistently rude and not helpful. i work in a restaurant and writing a bad review would be my last resort anywhere but this location needs serious improvement. i am always pleasant towards workers because i know what they go through first hand but the customer service here is awful and they don't offer any solutions. there was an issue with not getting my order today, which seemed like a system error because i had proof of full payment, and the staff refused to give me the food i had paid for. a nice lady coming in for her shift, who seemed like a manager, stepped in to help resolve the issue and she ended up giving me my order. if it hadn't been for her i wouldn't have gotten the food i already paid for. read more

I wish I could give this McDonalds NEGATIVE 5 stars! at 9 pm at night, the second drive through window was closed, and it took me FORTY FIVE MINUTES to get to the window. Multiple people turned around and either left or went inside the store (I presume), but I couldn't, as I was wearing my jammies and bunny slippers. I ordered a big Mac and a french fry, which I specified to please be hot (the last two times nothing inn my order was even warm). I get out of the line and I am driving home, and I realized that, yes, the fries were hot- but they were less than half full! And none spilled into the bag! My one burger patty was tiny on the bun,almost no big mac sauce on the burger and, NO receipt. I have complained to McDonald's before, and they have never offered a coupon or anything for their cold food (or missing burgers, which has happened also before here). Even though it is inconvenient, I'm going up the road to Wendy's from here on out. I have had too many bad experiences with his McDonald's to ever visit them again at Blakeney. 45 minutes in a line for a freaking hamburger- this is fast food? This is by far the worst McDonald's in the area. I live 5 minutes from the store and work across the street from it. So I try not to eat there due to the terrible service and cold food. Thought they would get better when they were bought out by individual owner instead of corporate location but no they are worst. Went through drive through tonight for first time in months. I got to pay window they have my food waiting cold of course and hand it to me in the pay window. Upon going back into store to correct their error they continued to charge me for the Mac Jr they never put on my order AND ANOTHER ORDER OF FRIES so I ended up getting charged for two cold orders of fries. I am not the type of person to write a review but I was so astounded tonight that I felt the need to do so to hopefully see some change at this location. I just waited 30 minutes for a chicken nugget meal and received the worst customer service. The employee who finally opened the window to have me pay (Mind you, my food was sitting there for a good 15 minutes as I waited) didn't even apologize and was clearly not happy to be there. I explained to her that I too work in the business but was frustrated I had to wait so long and asked if she could at least give me a discount. I was given such poor attitude from her and eventually was met by the manager. The manager, Deborah, insisted I only waited 10 minutes when I could've easily shown her proof it was exactly 30 minutes by the time I was helped. A simple apology would have gone a long way. I was taken aback. If I were the owner of this location, I'd consider cleaning house or go back to square one and teach these employees what decent customer service means. I cannot tell you how many times I have given this store a chance to straighten up but no more! Once again, today, I went there with a simple order and was shorted a burger. It is always something missing. The ticket is correct but the bag never has the correct contents. You call the manager and "we will make it right just come back and come inside for your replacement". Like I have nothing better to do than go to a Fast Food Joint twice to get my order right.
