First of all the cashier couldn't get our order correct. Secondly, when going to pick up our order they were rude and disinterested when asked if this was our order. We sat down to eat and a few bites into the burgers, we realized the meat was red and raw. When the manager was notified of the issue and shown the raw burgers, he simply took them from me and grunted "I'm sorry". He walked away without offering fresh food or a refund. We ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich, no mayo to share. Our receipt didn't show the "no mayo" so we checked the sandwich before we left. Low and behold after we got back on I-5 we found a needed, greasy mess with a slice of tomato and a couple small pieces of lettuce. Thanks Cirene with your unmanageable long nails (couldn't get two quarters and two nickels out of the change drawer without trying three times) and the rest of the inept staff. This is not the place to stop. On the way back to Northern California my son wanted McDonalds. Having just come from Southern California where we had a funeral for a family member, I agreed to stop for my son. My mistake. My son wanted a #9 which is a two cheeseburger meal. In the drive through I asked for a number 9 with a sprite. I noticed on the screen it showed one cheeseburger. I said it's two cheeseburgers right. She said" I can't make the # 9 a meal so I just added fries and a drink" I was confused as the menu showed a #9 meal. I said ok can we have 2 cheeseburgers she said ok but the screen still showed one. I asked for a quarter pounder with cheese no pickles no onions. She told me to drive forward. At the 1st window I was asked "did you want 2 cheeseburgers" I said yes. I paid and drove up to the next window. We waited for almost 10 minutes while a line of cars waited behind me. This was around 2:45. Finally I was given a bag and drink. I was never asked what size meal I wanted but I was given a large drink. I said "I didn't get a receipt " I was told "it's in the bag" the window shut and the employee walked away. I drove off as we had hours to drive. While driving I opened my quarter pounder. I could see the out side of the box showed no pickles and no onions. When I opened it I was surprised to see extra pickles and onions. I took them off and proceeded to eat. After several bites I looked at the meat and it was not done! It was red/pink. I started to gag and put it down. I tried to call the store but only received a busy signal. I tried to call for an hour before I gave up. During this I decided to eat the fries. They were greasy and had no salt. Hungry as I was I ate the fries. Never again will I go to McDonalds. All the way home I felt sick and I hope I don't get food poisoning as I have to work tomorrow. read more

This McDonald's is no fun. There aren't too many options in this area, so we thought this would be a good spot to grab a quick bite to eat. We were wrong. There were flies everywhere. Slowest restaurant I've ever been to! Employees were walking around talking to each other. Took 21 minutes to get a 20 piece Mcnuggets and a large sweet tea. Bunch of cars from drive thru parked outside waiting for food aswell. Makes the drive thru line look small, but the wait was crazy long with over 20 cars waiting. On our way to Disneyland we stopped by this McDonalds at 5:15AM and waited in the drive thru but the employees ignored us even tho they open at 5AM. We then got out to double check the time on the door and they proceeded to ignore us. Waste of our time. If your opening hours are 5AM that's when your expected to be open. Sometimes you just need a McDonald's halfway between SF & LA. This place does the job. Sometimes you just need to make that meal a large just for a few more fries. We stopped here for gas on the way to LA. I was craving for a little snack so we hit the drive thru. Remember the McDouble burger? With Eddie the Echo? Coalinga is a sad little town whose claim to fame is being the gas/food/lodging place right by the cows on the 5 when you are traveling to southern California from northern California (or vice versa). It's a bleak and dreary fly speck on the map, and even the McDonald's suffers from the desolation. My visit there on my way back from Disneyland will go down in history as one of the few times in my life that I failed to finish an order of fries. They were so bad. read more

Drove by on February 29th at about 2155 hours on the way to Disneyland. Hubby was craving a fish filet meal so we went to the drive-thru. I didnt order anything because I was on a diet, but hubby said the attendant was nice but they needed more night crew. He also said the fries were salty but everything else was good. The fish filet was good and it had too much tartar sauce, but he just scraped it off and the orange juice was good too. Nothing exciting for a McDonald's that's in the middle of nowhere. Okay so this location is in the middle of nowhere. Stopped by here for gas and some McFlurry. When the car in front of us (drive-thru) were getting their order, my boyfriend and I saw that the employee gave the guy McFlurry, and the guy refused it. We assumed that it was my McFlurry. After 2-4 minutes, it was our turn. The employee gave me the same McFlurry that she gave to the guy. I know because it was kind of melted already. I asked for a new one and the employee hesitantly took it back without saying a word. She gave me a new one. Came here during the Monopoly game promo. On the drive thru menu it has win blah blah blah all around the Big Mac picture. I bought a Big Mac, large fries, and happy meal to get my Dispicable Me 2 minion. My large fries came with game pieces, but my Big Mac had the regular box without game pieces. If you're going to advertise the Monopoly game with the Big Mac... you better make sure your boxes are up to date! This McDonald's was the worse fast food establishment I've ever been to. The customer service was absolutely terrible. The lady who took our order had the worse attitude. She didn't even look up at us when she was talking our order, never asked us how our day was, or even, "What can I get for you?" The fries tasted like they have been sitting there for hours, the bread was stale, and my sister found a hard piece of something in her chicken nuggets. When we asked for sauces, they didn't even acknowledge that we were standing there. Once we got their attention, she threw the sauces on the counter and just walked away. They were so rude about giving it to us. My mom wanted the Sweet Tea and they were out of it. I even over heard some of the customers walking out saying, "This is horrible customer service." I've had plenty of other McDonalds ice cream in the past and it's always been good, but this place ughhhh. Watched the cashier handle money in front of us and then made our ice cream!
