I went to McDonalds drive-thru this morning and ordered an egg mcmuffin. Went to pay and the girl said one sausage mcmuffin, and I said no, egg mcmuffin (which I order every morning). Supposedly she changes it. So I go to the next window and I tell the person at the window, i ordered an egg mcmuffin so he kindly changes it and I have to wait. I get my order, decide to check it so I drive to the parking lot and check my order only to find out there's no canadian bacon/ham so I go around to the drive thru and talk to the first girl who took my order and I said there's no canadian back/ham in my sandwich. She tells me there's no ham in an egg mcmuffin only sausage, I asked her what's your name, she says I don't have to give it to you. so I go to the next window, tell them there's no ham in my egg mcmuffin and I want the manager. I tell the manager what happened and the cashier was very rude and wouldn't give me her name. Manager was very nice. There's too many other fasts food places in Diamond Bar to go to to have to put up with cashiers that don't even know McDonalds menu and are rude. My 4 year old grandson knows McDonalds menu. I'm tired of getting and paying for crappy service so for now on I will complain and I will not go back to these fast food places that have brainless rude cashiers who evidentally don't like their jobs. I HATE this McDonalds!!! You have to actively try to be this bad. My order is NEVER right. If you pay extra for 5 sauces, they give you 2, if you pay for 10, they give you 7. And you're lucky if your food isn't cooked in old oil, if your fries don't taste like they're from yesterday, or if your nuggets taste like they didn't come from freezer burn hell. I come to this McDonald's every now and then because it's pretty close to my house. I've always come after prime dinner time and it's always been through the drive thru. Service has always been awesome. The workers have always been so friendly and have never gotten my order incorret!! Big props to them!! I have only ordered chicken nuggets and fries from this location and the nuggets have ALWAYS come out dried out, as though they've been sitting out and just refried/reheated. Same with the fries. Honestly, people give this location too much crap. Only people who have a negative experience bother to write something here, and those with great experiences .......... At night, after 10pm, they start running the drive-thru through the second window only and the credit/atm machine is at the first window so the first thing you hear is "Welcome to McDonalds. CASH ONLY!!" because they are too lazy to go back & fourth or run it correctly with the two windows. I rarely have cash and it doesn't annoy me when places are ALWAYS cash only, but not when it's convenient to them. Also, I took my dog for a walk and I went inside to politely ask the manager if I could eat on their OUTDOOR patio with my dog and he said no. This McD makes the other McDs in the area look good (Colima and brea canyon, grand and valley). It's like a standard McD except food quality takes a huge drop off and the customer exp. makes a tolerant person become agitated (can't you freakin' wait 5 seconds for me to put my drink in the cup holder, without stuffing the food bag in my face?) Update to my review from 2 years ago. Nothing has changed. They still take FOREVER to get your food ready in the drive thru so I started using Uber Eats so that way while I am waiting forever, at least I am at home. Sometimes I get lucky and my Uber order comes from a different McDonald's location and all is well, however, sometimes it comes from this lousy place and there is ALWAYS an issue. One time I was missing all of the fries, ALL OF THEM, and had to drive to the location (wait 10 minutes) to receive the fries that were missing. This defeats the purpose of Uber Eats if I have to go pick up missing items. Tonight, I was missing sauce. I got a total of 60 nuggets in my order for my family and I only received half the sauce. Missing sauce isn't as bad as missing food but COME ON. Why is it always something? I like doing Uber Eats because it allows people to earn wages and tips from delivering my orders but unfortunately I am going to have to stop since this location is so unreliable, takes too long, and has poor service. read more

They got my wife's order wrong when we had to be somewhere that morning. Instead of giving us 2 hash browns like she asked, they only gave her one. Granted they didn't charge for 2, but it's really annoying when you ask for 2 hash browns and you only get one. This place is opened 24 hr drive thru, but at least 3 times past midnight, they stop receiving credit cards. . . . why. Why would you do that to me? Just came through the drive through and had the best customer service I have ever received at a McDonald's drive through. I had a pretty specific order and Christopher made sure that the order was right at the speaker and again when I pulled up to the window. Let's start off with they never have everything in the menu to order! I used the drive thru today and the person who took my order was polite but once I received my food I noticed there were no napkins, ketchup, and everything was thrown in the bag and wasted. I asked for napkins and a water cup. The cashier asked her co-worker LINDA to get a cup of water and she said next time ask for it early. You are holding up my line and we have timers. She didn't get the napkins and was very rude. Not to mention my food was horrible! The sandwich had mayo smeared on top of the bun and it was cold and seemed very old. This place can get packed and backed up sometimes. I like that it is 24 hours and isn't too far from where I live. I never actually gone inside before so I am not sure if it is clean. The drive through workers seem nice most of the time and get my order correct. Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and I was more than pleased with my meal and the service I received! This McDonald's was VERY clean and I was shocked to learn that they bring out your food to you after you order, wow! The cashier was helpful, and they even let you take as many sauces as you want (unlike many McDonald's I've been to). The food was also very fresh: my biscuit was soft and the hash brows were crispy like I like them. If I'm ever in the area again I'd definitely stop by. read more

This is a very good McDonald's that has fast service. Of course the food is like every other one, but they put it together right and I don't think they've ever messed up an order of mine. This place calling itself "open 24 hours" is entirely misleading. The main dining area closes at 11 p.m (midnight on weekends) and the drive through has a limited "late night" menu that axes a huge portion of what you can order (say goodbye to chicken sandwiches, fish fillets, basically anything not nuggets or beef). If you happen to visit this place in the middle of the day it's a typical McDonalds but if you're a late night customer just skip this one. The design of the parking light is also absolutely bonkers. You have to enter the "drive-thru" lane to get to the regular parking lot and you have to drive around the whole building once to get to the drive-thru.
