Wow! This is normally a decent, if not better McDonald's but tonight was miserable in every respect. Since when does a McDonald's close the dining area at 7 pm?! Talk about stupidity this highway situated "restaurant, " and that is playing fast and loose with the term restaurant forces customers into a 30 or so minute wait to order, takes payment (cash because it is after all McDonald's, and then tries to serve lukewarm fries. Ok, fries first. Who wants to wait and wait and wait to get cold fires!? This McDonald's usually serves the best salted hot fries, which is why my wife and I tend to drive from Lakewood for McDonald's (ok, so after church it's convenient, too). So hand the ice fries back to age I suppose and receive hot, unsalted fries... well, they are safely closed and the line of cars too long to try again. It gets better. When we hand chicken sandwiches, we prefer Chick-filet. I ordered a fish sandwich, was looking forward to a messy yet tasty fish sandwich...wait for it: The fish became some abomination of what I presume was supposed to be chicken something or another sandwich. How does a staff so slow to serve mess up that badly....because they either don't care (after all they are safely within a building I cannot enter) or they simply struggle to read their machines. Yeah, the owner of this store needs a serious reboot on business management. Come on, you were great as McDonald's go. Get back in the grove. We need at least one decent McDonald's in the greater Tacoma/Dupont area. read more

So i went to this McDonald's with my grandpa and we were 2 minutes past breakfast and we asked for 2 burritos but the said we ran out of food then they were completely rude and they made it sound like it was our problem and the manager was even worse then i just ordered a quarter pounder and when we got home i opened it and the buns were burned i hated this place will not eat again read more

Made a random stop because my little guy wanted some food, and to our surprise there was some nasty stuff in his chicken nuggets, I brought it up to management and they took over 20m to come talk to me, in the mean while I could hear Gregory the assistant manager verbally abusing the younger employees, talking down on them like the were kids, I brought it up to the manager when she finally managed to come see me, we were there for over an hour, and that type of behavior/bullying from supervisors to subordinates is not what I wanted my 5 year old to witness. The menu states there is only chocolate milkshakes, but when asked they have all 3 flavors. When going to pay, window 1 barely held the pin pad out, making me hang halfway out my window and then kept staring at us wondering why it wasn't working when she hadn't pressed the button. Then, no napkins in the bag, had to holler for the kid to reopen the window to get some. But best of all, the milk shake was like milk - was not frozen at all - tasted horrible with whip cream that is gross. We feel like we need to scrape the sugar off of our teeth. And the fries had barely any salt and tasted like they had been fried in months old grease. Get it together Dupont McDonalds, we are better than that! read more

When I get fast food. I'm not expecting a crazy good customer experience, just bare minimums however each time I have visited this location it has been a terrible experience.  I have gone through the drive through 3 times and each time they have messed up my order. I have gone to plenty of places and that is a pretty high rate of mess ups.  My first experience I didn't even get what I ordered. I figured honest mess up and I'll give it an other chance. Second experience I was in a crunch and had to go back to work and and when I go there it had happened again. This last experience I had today was my last experience here. Thersea was the saving grace of your location. I was given the wrong item again today, when I went back in I was given the wrong item again. I ordered a double quarter pounder and both times was given a single patty. On the second one they managed to get two pieces of cheese on the patty and one below it but missed the second patty. The double cheese was stacked and cold..I just threw it back in the bag.  I am attaching a picture of the sandwhich. The people in  the drive thru seemed more excited to talk to co workers as I wasn't even greeted with a hello at any point or a have a good day which is pretty standard.  I am also someone who doesn't ever do these reviews however this was a bad enough experience to make me do so. read more

The military families never control there kids. It makes going to this McDonald's a drag. I seen a little boy running around burping in people's faces and his mommy didn't discipline him. WTF is wrong with this McDonald's?? I typically order my Big Mac with extra cheese (because, seriously? Cheese only on one patty? Pfft), and every other McDonald's on the planet knows that I mean I want one slice of cheese on each patty. Not the DuPont McDonald's. Oh, no, they have to be cheese innovators all the fucking time. Sure, today it was two slices of cheese jammed between two patties (patties that should never touch, btw), and another slice on the pattyless level below. Really? A pattyless level? Who would want that? Whole sandwich, minus meat, sure. But no meat on one level? No. This is not a vegetarian/carnivore duplex situation where they have wacky misunderstandings and come to some sort of heartwarming compromise after 23 minutes of show time, it's my stupid lunch. Other ways I've received the Big Mac with extra cheese include: two or more slices of cheese on only the top patty, leaving the bottom patty completely cheeseless; the same thing, but on the bottom (sure, it doesn't sound like a big difference, but, you know), no cheese at all (because fuck listening), and with zero modifications whatsoever but somehow more expensive. Honestly I've only gotten a regular Big Mac with a slice of cheese on each patty about 50% of the time in DuPont. This shouldn't be this hard, but apparently it is. But the biggest thing is it's ALWAYS this McDonald's, and ONLY this McDonald's. Literally nowhere else in my entire adult life has this been a problem. Is is something in their hiring practices? Is there an extra interview question not on the standard list? "Can you make a Big Mac 17 different ways? Yes? Awesome, you're hired!" Whatever it is, fucking fix it. "Big Mac with extra cheese" shouldn't be this difficult. read more

This is the most friendly Mc Donald's I've ever been to. The cashier was super nice. She suggested a couple options when I asked about the menu. And gave me a free drink. I really wasn't feeling good and was making a long drive to California. It made me feel better. The little things! The fries were really fresh. And the hamburger was good. It seems like a safe neighborhood to stop, especially if your car is packed to the limit like mine was. read more

This place is really going down hill quick. I get stuff happens for sure. Attention to detail isn't enforced everywhere, I get that. It is frustrating though when you order something simple like an egg and sausage biscuit, and you get an egg and cheese biscuit. Really! Sausage is in the name and cheese is no where in the name. Was on a business trip in Dupont and craving some fries- McDonald's was within walking distance from the hotel. Although I waited a little longer than usual- I must say- one of the best fries I've had at a McDonalds :) Fresh and crispy- yum! read more

Horrible customer service. If I could I would give it NO stars. Several times I have gone before for a simple milkshake and have been told that ice cream machine is not working. Fries are always lukewarm after 2pm, but they are always busy or it seems. Today, I ordered a meal. Was uncharged for a large drink but only got a medium fry. Then when I go to pay, the girl at the window is just shaking her head and heavily sighing like my order was an inconvenience. My card was declined, per the manager, the card system had just gone offline. So I waited in line for 24 minutes with no sign of food or way out because I had 3 cars in front and 3 cars behind me. No apology, no cares were given. Sadly, this is the only McDonalds in this little town and the closest one is 5 miles away. No telling how long that would actually take you. What a shame. Really nice new interior. Very polite staff. It is the owners who are oblivious. We came in and I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. No paper towels with which to exit the bathrooms and not touch the handle. Shame in a restaurant. So I possibly had baby poop or snot on my hands before I eat. Next thing I saw was a really good looking mushroom swiss cheeseburger I ordered from the big display behind the cashier. I was told they were discontinued. So, I come in here for breakfast with a buddy of mine. Due to the fact that it's not overly crammed with military, so it's easy in and easy out. Or so I thought. As we approached the counter, the cashier, Christian, spoke to us with complete apathy, like no clue he is at work. The manager asked him for a tray on the counter and he slapped it on the counter with attitude. So my buddy orders a number 10 and a McGriddle with a sweet tea. He pays and walks off. They call his number for his order and lo and behold, the cashier didn't even get it ordered right. There was only one burrito on the tray, a coffee, and 1 hash brown. I get it, people mess up, but when I told the cashier that I'll be having the same exact thing, my order came out right. So my question is: where was the disconnect in this guy's mind? Probably the most incompetent McDonald's I've ever been to. And every time I go and they messed up my previous order I think it had to have been just a bad day, they'll get it right this time. To my delight, I am dead wrong. They have managed to screw up my last 3 orders. The first time I ordered double hamburgers and got singles. The second time I was jipped a sandwich. The third time was epic! I ordered a McChicken and only got one half of the bun! How does that happen. Anyone who had ever worked in fast food ever would know that that was intentional.
