Been at the beaches all day so we stopped in to grab a couple of frozen cokes before heading back to our campsite at Myakka River State Park. We decided to do the drive through to save time - the attendant spoke in such a low and incoherent tone it was almost impossible to understand a word she said, after getting around that we were able to pay get our order and get on our way. Here's an idea install a kiosk at the drive through and eliminate this position, I can order, pay and never have to deal with the untrained or incompetent staff - it took longer to communicate and confirm my order than it did to drive up, pay and get my order and some think we need to increase the minimum wage, how about taking that idea and making it merit based, once you learn how to communicate and provide a decent customer service experience you get paid... read more

Late night stop because I was hungry and not near home for a healthier snack. Bad on me, but I did as little damage as possible. Not the healthiest choice and I need to do a better job going forward of having a snack in the van. On the plus side, at 8:30pm it was clean. The crewmember who served me was pleasant and my cheeseburger was ready quickly. Assembled properly and with a small fries that were actually hot, it was a surprisingly good snack. First of all the new Crispy Chicken sandwich is terrible and only comes with one pickle slice! Just ate here with my brother and both our fries were borderline room temperature and not limp. This is a good McDonald's for food, but has anyone noticed that the receipts are so light that you can't read them, especially to use McDvoice? My husband and I are retired now, so we used to enjoy the BOGO Big Mac, for sharing our always great experiences at their Ben Pratt/41 location. A discussed it with a friend who lives up north of us, and apparently they are all doing it! Why? Is it so you cannot get a discount now and then or is it because they are forcing you to use their App to get deals? Their App is personally invasive and I won't use it. So, I guess I will use old-fashioned coupons from our mailbox to buy my food at Burger King; at least their burgers are charbroiled and I can have them my way. This is by far the BEST McDonalds in the area. One of the sweetest, most interesting women you will ever meet, Hyacinth, works at this location. She will make your entire day shine. All of the staff are good people, the food quality is great (it's McDonalds, soooo, not haute cuisine, but everything is fresh and yummy) and extra sauce, sliver onions instead of dehyrated, no problem and executed exactly as ordered. I like that you order your food and they bring it to you along with whatever condiments you want. I suggest ditching the kiosk. If I want faceless ordering, I would drive through using the app, though I dont use the app because it is too invasive...why do they need to access my contacts?! Anyway, we only go to this McDonald's now, despite having frequented many throughout the greater Ft. Myers area. SIMPLY THE BEST! read more

My Daughter and I made a visit to this Mcdonald's location. It is getting a low review for the wait in line! After waiting over 10 minutes, we finally made our order only to have to get back in line to retrieve a missing item. Next time we will try a different location. read more

I stopped in to get a meal before heading on to Sanibel. I am not usually a fan of McDonalds but I was hungry, I didn't know the area, and time was of the essence. This McDonalds has the order kiosk which I tried for the first time. It was very easy to use and you can opt to pay at the kiosk or the register. You take a table number tent for your table, tell the kiosk your number, and someone brings the food to you. About 10 minutes later a smiling employee dropped off our food minus an order of chicken tenders that she forgot and quickly fixed. If a McDonalds has a kiosk I would use it again. The food was par for the course of McDonalds. I tried the buttermilk chicken tenders for the first time. The first one was good and the second one was fatty. I am a fan of their sweet tea. The food seemed exactly like every other McDonalds to me. The employees here were friendly and it did what I needed it to do, fill me up and get me back on the road quickly. read more

Cashier screwed up order and compounded it further when I requested it to be addressed. Originally ordered a McGridle mean and he provided & charged for sandwich only. When I realized the mistake, decided to get a second sandwich for a $1. Since I already had bacon, requested a sausage McGridle. They gave me a sausage biscuit which is not the special (buy one get one for $1). Not a good way to start my day. read more
