Absolutely the worst McDonald's ever. Turtle speed slow. I rarely eat there anymore because how long it takes to get me anything. This morning I thought I would try since there was nobody at the walk-in encounter. I ordered a biscuit hash brown meal and it took almost 15 minutes to get. This is going to be a short and sweet review. I almost never give McDonald's anything over a three-star review. I stopped here on the way back from playing golf and Gold canyon and used one of the mobile app coupons for a free medium fry with $1 purchase. I got a large unsweetened iced tea and an order of fries for $1.09 I think. The t was fresh and flavorful. One of the best glasses of iced tea I've had. The fries were fresh out of the fryer crisp just the right amount of salt and hot! Definitely the best order of McDonald's french fries I've had in probably over 1 year. read more

FAST FOOD IS SUPPOSED TO BE FAST! This place is probably the worst of all McDonalds. I live in the area and it just never improves. The experience is always the same. You drive up and no one is in the line. They are completely silent, no greeting. You wait 1 minute and then ask if they are ready to take youre order. They say they need a minute. You sit for 3-4 more minutes in silence until you ask them if they are ready, once again. Then they take your order. The employees have absolutley no Customer Service abilities. You then drive up to the window and there is 1 person waiting. You sit for 5 minutes and nothing moves. After 10 minutes (if you don't give up and drive away) it's your turn. If they don't tell you to park (very rare) they take 5-10 minutes to give you food. Spending 20 - 25 minutes in the drive-thru for 2 Egg McMuffins is ridiculous. If they happen to be busy the lines are insane and everyone is told to park. The employees are constantly on the verge of a breakdown. I'm not sure if they have no training, they are extremely slow or it's understaffing. I don't really care at the end of the day, because year after year it never changes. This McDonalds is pricey, the food is mediocre and you have to wait as long as a sit down restaraunt to get your food. They only get customers because they are 1 of 2 drive-thru restaraunts in Gold Canyon. When Burger King goes in shortly, they will be decimated. read more

Good Morning Yelpers, This McDonalds still disappoints their customers. Yesterday around 9am I stopped to get breakfast. Pulling in by the Circle K, seening the drive thru line was almost at the end of the Circle K, way to long...Parked the car, went inside only 1 person in front of me. 3 people came in after me, saying the same thing, drive thru lane was to long. There was a young girl working there at food ready screen as I call it, since that shows what orders are in order & placed. There was a young boy just taking the orders, nothing else, The young girl, had to cook the hash browns, I waited 25 minutes, After the young girl finally got the order out for the guy in front of me then went on to prepare three other orders that came in after me, and they waited also. I asked her is mine next? Then she got a sharp tongue as I call it (Smart A**) with me that I don't know what I order, but this is your order as she held a bag with the sandwich inside, only needed to add the hash brown. I ordered Oj, had to remind her also about that.... To the General manager since the management team can not get this crew under control. The orders are suppose to get prepared in order. Maybe this sharp tongue (smart A**) as I call it told her needs to be refreshed in prepping orders I can see why this McDonalds has the rating it does, then the smart A** said Thank you. Worst McDonald's ever. Long waits for cold sandwiches, cold coffee, soggy fries and just plain incorrect orders. How does it get worse than that? It used to be better, pre-pandemic, but I guess they've never recovered. I used to visit here on vacation pre-pandemic, but since relocating here five months ago, I haven't had one good experience. I don't know if they can't get reliable help, or what the problem is. I even had an issue using the app - I got to the window, was told the payment didn't go through, even though I showed the lady a receipt on my phone saying it did. She refused to give me my food, and when my credit card bill showed up - you guessed it - there was the charge. I had to call the credit card company to have the charge reversed. I come thru to this McDonald's about 3 times a week for iced coffee, I came thru today and was humiliated in front of other customers. I went thru the drive thru, pulled up to the window and sat there at least 8 minutes, and still had no one come on the speaker, I looked behind me and counted 4 other cars. I decided I would just pull up in case they are having issues with their speaker box or something. The minute I came to the window, a crew member opened the window.and said "you need to go back around and get in line, we already told you we would be right with you." I explained I heard nothing the entire 8 minutes I sat there and told her it was unfair I would have to go back to the end of the line. The crew member then said "I'll get my manager" Manager Zack came to the window.and immediately began telling me you will go back around, you will not just drive up here and cut in front of all the other customers, i again tried to explain the situation and he called me a liar, I then told him he was very unprofessional and he said to me "your unprofessional, were trying to provide service to our customers and your prohibiting it" I at that point was appalled and embarrassed as hes yelling out the window, when he qas finished telling me off he slammed the window and I drove away. I plan to take my complaint to the head manager of this establishment, seems the entire staff lacks customer service. I promise I will never revisit this McDonald's on my travels!!! read more

Manager more worried about drive thru customers that had waited 7 minutes vs the 20 minutes those of us inside waited. No one put more fries in the fryer so extended the wait. They don't handle food properly and don't store it properly. The manager is rude to employees and doesn't follow the food handlers safety guidelines. Molded bread, old meat, expired things, dirty surfaces. The employees doing things the Pinal County Sheriff department might be interested in by the dumpsters on there shifts. I went through the drive up line. My order was taken quickly and I pulled forward and paid. Then I waited. I noticed four cars pulled aside and ahead of me. They eventually got their food. Then I was told to pull ahead too and wait a couple of minutes. Seven minutes later I got my filet of fish and fried. I noticed that every car behind me that did not order just a drink was pulling up behind me. What on earth is wrong here? I have been to other McDonalds and marveled at how fast they could get out their orders. Not here though. Unfortunately this location has always had poor service. Real morons here. We're staying nearby. Stopped by and ordered two sausage and egg biscuits with cheese. About as basic as an order can possibly be - right? When I got to our place and opened the bag I found out they gave me two mc griddle something's and two hash browns. Checked the receipt and it was correct. So, back I went. I went in to the counter. A lady who was obviously the shift manager glanced over at me and went back to talking with another worker. I put the receipt and food on the counter to show they don't match. When she finally decided to help after I explained the situation to another employee she told the cook she needed two sausage biscuits. The cook pointed to some ready to go and the manager replied she needed two sausage and cheese biscuits without egg. Good lord! I told her once again 'please read the receipt! It says two sausage, egg and cheese biscuits.' She handed me a bag. I looked in and it had two hash browns. I opened up the wrapping on the top biscuit and it was correct so I left without so much as a 'sorry' from the worthless manager. When I got back to our place again I found they never put any cheese on the other sausage and egg biscuit! I have three items of advice; go to the Jack in The Box or Carl's Jr a few exits to the west or check your order, check your order if getting food at this really poorly run Mc D's. read more

If I could vote zero stars I would. This McDonald's has always been a crapshoot but it's convenient so I've put up with it. Can't say that I will anymore. The last time we went there, we had to rush one of the dogs to the emergency vet at 4am. Had to leave her there so on the way back home I said let's grab some breakfast since we never have a chance to. I went to fill up the truck while my mom went inside to order. She came back out and said they wouldn't serve her because she had no mask. The gentleman behind her didn't have one either so he left too. I'm not sure I understand why they require one when most everyone in Circle K didn't have one on and they have so much plexiglass hanging from the ceiling and blocking everything, how the heck could a virus get through? (I'm being sarcastic for anyone who doesn't understand) So anyways I was really craving breakfast from here so against my morals I decided to go through the drive thru which I don't like because we have a dually truck and they're not fun getting through drive thrus. Luckily this one is easy so we went to order and everything went fine. The stupid part is I was closer to the employee then I would have been inside without a mask so I really don't understand the issue of not having one on inside compared to not having one on at the drive thru. So we get our meal and head out and of course we come to find it's all cold. Hash browns were soggy and sandwiches were cool so it wasn't even worth the effort. I can see why this place has under two stars cause they've always sucked and most of the employees are rude. It would be nice if McDonald's actually cared about their customers and do something about this particular location but I'm sure they won't because it's been like this for years.
