It's really a shame that it's seems this location is getting worse and worse as time goes on- especially with all the renovations as of late. The drive through takes 20+ minutes recently and I'm not sure if that's due to new staff or what, but most of them don't respond to you ("hello" - "thank you" etc) and they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them by being there! This might be the worst "fast" food restaurant I've ever been too. They got my whole order wrong. I got a Big Mac large meal with a Fanta. I got no Fanta and no large fries. Then I ordered 2 double apple pies for my family and only received two apple pies. Then I went to get a refund and it didn't go through. My sister got a 10 piece McNugget and only received 8. It was THE slowest fast food ever. We waited 45 minutes for our food and the guy in front of us waited for an hour and got a refund refusing to wait that long. Zero stars, customer service is absolutely terrible. They refused to let me use my coupon on the app, and thenJennifer, the manager, slammed the window, while I was asking for help. I pulled to the curbside and did mobile order and waited in the spot for 20 minutes to get my food, which didn't come. I went inside, and asked. They started making my order. 10 minutes later, two of the burgers were wrong. Jennifer shires with me that they weren't wrong, that they were made the way I ordered them. She finally said I'd have to wait 3 minutes to make another burger, then 10 minutes later, I asked about my burger, and she said it would be another 4-5 minutes. I asked why so long, she said "because other people are ahead of me so they haven't started making it." Worst McDonald's I've ever been too. The lady working the counter was nice, but that's pretty much where positive vibes of this place ends. The line took so freakin' long because they were having issues with credit card transactions. I understand that it can be out of their control, but there was no sign of being apologetic from the staff, and you could tell a lot of people were irritated (especially considering it was around 7:30 in the morning). The place was truly disgusting though. Ketchup in a huge freakin clump all over the soda dispenser bottom exit tank, trash on the floor, and even dirty tables. I didn't use the restrooms, so I can't comment on that, but overall this place seemed pretty unsanitary; I can only imagine what goes on in the kitchen... Yikes! One good thing about this place is that they have a TV that has news and other things. I don't think I have been to a McDonalds that provides TV entertainment, lol. Let's see, where do I begin? I am not a Yelper who is notorious for all 5 star reviews or just the measly 1 star for shits and giggles. I try to really be honest about my experience. And sadly, this is probably "as bad as it gets" for a review of an establishment. While driving home and passing through the lovely Grapevine, I needed to stop and use the restroom. My choices were a few gas stations or McDonalds... decisions. Of course McDonalds sounded a little more ideal with the expectation that it's a busy establishment and the restrooms are probably a bit cleaner than a gas station's. I walked in and headed straight for the restroom. I opened the door and the line was already backed up and wrapping into a curve behind the door. One stall ahead had an out of service note on it. The other two along the same wall were vacant, but nobody was using them. My friend took a peek and one was super filthy, the other had no toilet paper and trash overflowing on the ground. Now we're down to three stalls along the other wall... waiting. I finally entered one of them -- used toilet paper and garbage overflowing all over the floor and directly touching the toilet seat. They put plastic trashcans in the stall which were a bit oversized. I was surprised that this stall had toilet seat protectors and paper! The seat was covered with urine, smears of feces and remnants of a used toilet seat protector cover. So disgusting! I already waited 10 minutes, so I do my thing and walk over to the sink. Only one soap dispenser is working and there are no hand towels or hand dryers in sight. WTH?! So everyone has been shaking excess water all over the counter and floor. Why I didn't walk out already is beyond me. I placed an order and waited a good 25 minutes to receive it. I asked the cashier if there was someone who could tend to the women's restroom. He said they've been busy all day and points to the guy wearing sweats, a McD's t-shirt and hat, and said, "Well hopefully he can get to it." He gave me my cup and I walked over to the fountain drink dispenser. The overflow bin (whatever it's called) shares the same collective area with the ketchup. I love ketchup, but the sight of it piling up just looked so gross (peep the pic). Ahhh, medium cup covers, where are they? There's only large and child size. Meanwhile, why not take in the wet, dirty counters for the experience too? This place is just a shithole. So while I had the honor of waiting 25 minutes for my Happy Meal (I wanted the Simba toy), I observed everything from the staff, the manager and the production line. The thoughts of contracting a food borne illness were high on the list, but the only amazingly clean and appropriately functioning process taking place was the hamburger production line. I had a direct view of the gentleman working away and this was the only reason I waited; it looked promising. Dude with the sweats just put his mop down and walked behind the main counter. He was trying to leave and a manager asked him to come back (by the tone of her voice, there was no mutual respect between the two). He's announced to everyone that he was taking his ten after being off for 30 minutes already. Overtime? I guess! God bless him. When my food was finally ready, I walked up to the counter and asked if they had anymore medium lids. The girl who was working at the receiving order line, multitasked to the register and filled the fries busted out with a package with lids. She poked a hole in the bag and reached in to grab a lid - fingers all over touching the underside of it. Ahhh... never again. I ended up with Pumba and not Simba. What a shame. read more

Went through drive-thru and no one would respond. After several minutes, I just move forward to the pay window where I have to wait at least 5 minutes before someone comes to window to talk to me and get my order. I would be more sympathetic if the place was dead and someone didn't notice me, but several people came right by the window and there is a long line of cars. Absolutely can't believe the service.... Made a rest stop here today on the drive back to the Bay for thanksgiving. I was honestly pretty shocked how chaotic this McDonald's was. I ordered an Egg McMuffin and a Bacon egg cheese melt biscuit. Both tasted good (like most McDonald's) and it was my first time ordering the bacon egg cheese melt biscuit. But the problem is really just with the customer service. After ordering and waiting for a while I noticed people who ordered after me seemed to get their food before me. So I asked one cashier if she could check how far along my order is. Her answer, "oh you see that screen over there?" (Pointing to a computer screen a couple of feet away from where she was standing). "I can't really see it so your order is somewhere on there." ... Really? You can't walk two feet just to see where my order is? So I tried asking another cashier and the one from earlier comes over and asks one of the people handling the food where my order is. And the person she asked immediately got my food for me. I asked for some extra salsa, and it takes 3 employees scrambling around to find the salsa (one of them actually tried to tell me they didn't have salsa, then proceeded to ask another employee "oh we have salsa?" When they finally found it, it was just under the cashier counter in a box... Gosh. It was the most chaotic McDonald's I've been to. read more

Disgusting. I truly wish I had gone to the restroom before ordering, would have walked out and gone to the gas station across the street for snacks or a drink. Plenty of workers who look like they could care less about you being there. The menu has changed and it certainly isn't as straight forward to order a burger as it once was. The staff makes no attempt at making it easier. They just stand back, arms crossed, wondering what you are doing there in the first place. Dirty. That's my word for it. Very disappointing. First off went to the ladies restroom & the door won't lock someo it's so small I was able to hold it closed. Then to flush, no handle, no button nothing but a little hole on the side I thought was a button to flush but I think it was once a handle & when I pressed it just got my finger wet so I guessed it was just tank water (I hope). So I gave my hands an extra scrub down!!!! Mentioned it to someone, just got an "ok". Nothing more or less. Also every McDonald's we ever go to standard coffee no matter what size is a buck. $1.00. Nothing fancy but good. They charged $2.69 & made it wrong. Requested 9 sugars & 5 creamers, got 5 sugars & 9 creamers & we didn't know until we left. But I guess since this is a rural & heavily traveled spot they figure they can charge more. Bummer. So we will plan our trips over the grapevine a little more careful & get our coffee & bathroom breaks before & after & taste our coffee before we drive off. One star because there were several bathroom stalls (small but stalls nonetheless). The cleaning staff was polite and I was appreciative of the work in the restrooms (I exchanged pleasantries with the lady cleaning the restroom). Fast forward to my order of a Sausage McMuffin with no egg which was lukewarm at best. I asked them to reheat the muffin and it was returned to me burnt black.
