Today I got McDonald's for breakfast they forgot my syrup and my coffee the food was still good.

FYI: the $1.00 cheeseburger and $1.00 chicken sandwich is now $1.15 __________________________________________________________________________ A few days ago. They have pre order machines when you enter. You put in your order, take a number card to put on your table and they bring your food to you. Really neat. Food was same as any other McDonald's except for spam, eggs and rice for breakfast. read more

This was just around the corner from my airbnb. Needed some quick breakfast one morning, so walked over. Super busy with tons of people waiting in line to order. They do have 3 self ordering kiosks which I utilized. Orders came out super slow and everyone was standing there waiting for their orders in a crammed space. The waiting area flows right next to tables, so it does not leave much room for a cluster of people. This was from breakfast and it was food only. We don't usually do breakfast like the Hawaiians so my experience was kinda eye opening. Their Local deluxe breakfast consist of rice, scrambled eggs, Portuguese sausage, and Spam. The sodium was incredible but it's okay. I rather enjoyed it very much. Other dining places may taste better but you are also paying $12.99 and tip Instead of the $7.99(?) from here. Adding Spam is a luxury that comes at a price. For basically a can price is what you pay for 2 thin slices: but it's a when in Rome type of thing: you kinda just go with it. Their limited time Taro pie is actually very good. The normal apple pie is kinda flaky. But these are crispy and then the Taro taste together makes it a treat. I remember during the Inaugural McDonald's of Hawaii NextNext Music Competition and Charity Event.. this location was not up to speed and took some time for them to realize what the contest was about since they had a very similar contest a month prior. This McDonalds sucks. Service is so slow and the fries are always soggy. They also inflate their combo prices for the included Pinapple. Tell them you don't want the pinapple and they will take $1.50 off the price. Otherwise a Big Mac combo will cost you $9.00 Yuck. read more

Not the best location of McDonald's, but it's close to the middle of Waikiki and they serve Hawaiian breakfast platters (I love Portuguese Sausage, eggs, and Rice) and Saimin. I'm a fan! :) No, there is no parking, this is for the people walking or taking the bus. Don't complain, parking is expensive in Waikiki. The breakfasts are hot and come out quick, so does the saimin. I always add two packets of shoyu since their soup is a bit bland. Does the trick for me! Being 2 blocks from expensive restaurants and the beach shouldn't mean such a huge increase in the prices of a chain restaurant. Don't really want to rate this McDonalds any lower because it's usually pretty good. Better than your average McDonalds which there is very little that I would eat that they serve here. When I ordered online there was some kind of problem so when I got to the store my order didn't have the right code so I would have to pay in the store. Then the payment went through and I got my item. Went around the block and the receipt comes through and then another one for a fish meal which I don't eat any fish. I go back to the stores and say what's this? It was like 5 minutes later. The manager Rayne says he can't credit my account unless I bring the card that's on the online account. So I have to go all the way home and get the card that's online. Somehow Rayne believes that we're even. Makes me go home to produce a card for an order I never placed. Can't say I'll never go there again but I will certainly go there a lot less. People should grab their receipts in Waikiki when they eat out. I watch and I'll bet only 20% do. I've never seen a place where customers get fleeced so much because the servers know people don't keep their receipts. Somebody passed my card onto someone trying to grab a free meal at my expense. Very poor service. I wish I can say "I will never ever go to this McDonald's again...", but I can't, cuz I work in Waikiki and this is the closest one from my work, and trust me, I love Micky-D!!! Anyways..., I went there for their "All-Day Breakfast" at 10:50am, and their breakfast menu is so small, and don't even have Hawaii's own local breakfast on the menu..., the cashier looked at me and said "Breakfast is done at 10:30am!" When I just asked if local breakfast is a part of "all-day breakfast"... Then I finally ordered, she didn't even ask me if it was eat here or to go. She assumed it was "to go". Oh hello, I'm dining in today, lady, DUHHHH!! Smh... And she didn't even tell me the total and just expecting me to pay on my own.. If self-service is the point, then they should get rid of those old ignorant cashiers who have no desire to serve their customers with a pleasant attitude and manner. All the other local McDonald's locations' staffs are all nice and friendly because they know they are dealing with all local people..., but this Kuhio location has been always so rude and not friendly at all. I don't know why people don't like this McDonalds. It's in a great location, it has pretty fast wifi, the staff is pretty nice and decently proficient, and unlike McDonalds' in hometown, there aren't bunches of homeless people hanging out or asking for a handout. The service here is really really really slow. Except the manager And cashier here doesn't care about customer (the one with glass). I came to here every day and she is busy to talk with her colleague and just don't care about you. You ask sugar cream and she said how many like you said okay three cream one sugar and she repeat three ? And you say cream and she said three cream how many sugar and you said one sugar please and she repeat again three cream one sugar and you said yes. And she gave them to you and turn around immediately like immediately! And then when you really need a little plastic bag for the three cream one sugar with one hand holding a wallet and the other hand holding this really Hot coffee,but you can't call them back unless you yelled out Excuse me, can I get a little bag for this? I usually have a decent experience here as this location is the one closest to me. I had a craving for a Bacon Big Mac after work today so I ordered carry out through the kiosk. Terrible service which is NOT up to the standards of the stockholders and McDonald's in general. Plus, now they have the stigma of the recent shooting incident to deal with on top of an incompetent staff. I would be SHOCKED if they didn't close down this location within the next twelve months. This mcdonalds is about 2 blocks from the hotel we stayed at so I thought I would give it a try. I was hoping for some region specific foods, especially spam but there was nothing unqiue on the menu at all which was very dissappointing, except for the blueberry pie. Not very unique but never seen it on there menu before. I ate a couple of them and they were very good, I will get a couple more for sure before I go home from vacation. No expiration date on the haupia pie is very disturbing. When the question of "why" was prompted, the manager on duty immediately offered a new fresh order and a complimentary card for a free item on my next visit. That quick remedy was sufficient for me!!! read more

I'd put 0 stars if it would let me. Went in and ordered dinner, we ordered 3 meals for 3 of us. When my husband was about to add a drink, shella says "oh y'all are eatin tonight" well there's 3 of us and 3 meals so sure. Then a nice man who was waiting on food tried to pay for meal because my husband was in his military uniform and was thanking him for his service, very nice. Shella cancelled the order everytime the guy tried to stick his card in and would play it off as it had already gone through in our card. Then when he walked away she made my husband put his card in again to pay, because it in fact hadn't gone through. Fine, we can pay for our food, not a big deal, we came planning to do that anyways. Then she says to my husband that we should pay for our own food, that people always try to treat the military special and that we make enough money to not have to worry about people paying for our food and we have the "benefits." Again we can pay for our own food but it was the nice gesture of the man who wanted to pay for it, and she wouldn't allow it because she didn't think it was fair. Rude as all get out. Hate this location. The staff don't care. All the customers stand wherever and some cut without a clear cut area where they are supposed to wait. The staff should be directing people to stand in a certain place to order. It is also SOOOOO slow. Seriously. It took 15 minutes to get a mcdouble ready while the restaurant is not busy and there are 6 employees working plus a manager. What a joke!!!!
