Just okay. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this location. Prices are really high but we stuck with mostly sides and the limited happy hour menu. I have always loved PF Chang's but I have to give this location in Waikīkī a thumbs down. It did not operate or feel like the PF Chang's I have experienced in the past. My server was mostly nonexistent. She left me there with an empty glass of water and waiting to order a second drink. When I did see her I would have to flag her down even though she was within eye shot of me. Grrrrr. The food was pretty much like what I have experienced before but it did feel a bit off in some ways. Seemed to me missing some of the signature flavors I have been use to and plate presentation. Why did it took me so long... Yes I've never ever been to a P.F. Chang's and as much as I've given grief to others that came into the same situation...where have I been!? I am happy to have friends like Terry K who says ok let's go...and here we are lol! Located in Waikiki the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center to be exact so parking isn't the issue here and yes they validate making it easy as well to park and dine at your leisure as we did so along with couple of others making it a nice and relaxing way to end our day. Of course we started with drinks and Strawberry Cucumber Limeade refresher sounded just the drink to have as it was nice and not too sweet, very easy to sip and was very refreshing but I didn't know where to begin so she ordered what they're know for is the Chang's Lettuce Wrap which was not just delicious but refreshing and light. Moving on to some heartier items it was the BBQ Pork Spare Ribs, Signature Lo Mein, Crispy Green Beans, Egg Rolls and what a feast the spare ribs was nice and tender slightly sweet but very easy to eat, egg rolls was sliced in half very delicious with lots of fillings, the green beans was fried to perfection and I just couldn't stop munching on them and the Signature Lo Mein was a delicate bite filled with veggies I really enjoyed it but was hitting the limit as I grazed throughout the conversations. This is the first time in a while that we've been to PF Changs. Sadly, for my wife and I, the food was very below par and not what we remembered. Small portions, undercooked veggies, plain taste. Even the white rice was dry and bad. The only positives were the good service by Tiffany, and how the food came out fast- we talked about because the veggies aren't even cooked. Tastes like the frozen PF Changs youn can get from Target. We are local residents and happy to get 10% off but will definitely not be back with all the other good options around town. read more

We came here at 9:05 pm to just get a cocktail or almost an hour before close. The bar had 2 people on the bar. The bartenders were just standing around. We asked to go to the bar for just one drink and leave. The hostess said they were not seating anyone else on the bar after 9 pm even though it was empty. Huh?? Bartenders were standing around. What?! It's a 10 pm close. We just wanted one drink, but they didn't care. We would have been there for 15 minutes. Customer service was bad, uncaring and unreasonable. We went back to a local tiki bar nearby who welcomed us with open arms. We asked ourselves why eat at a corporate restaurant with a corporate staff attitude when you can eat local businesses with aloha spirit. Our waitress was very nice. I was so excited to try the miso lobster dumpling. It wasn't the same as what I had while I was on the mainland. Here, the inside of the dumpling is a paste and not actual pieces of lobster like the mainland. I had to ask the server if pork dumplings was given to me by mistake. To my dismay, it was actually the miso lobster dumpling. $19 + for seafood paste? Highly disappointed especially since I try to stay out of Waikiki being from central Oahu. Over priced Panda Express. Bland over priced food. The only reason we passed through was to use a coupon. Restaurants should adjust their POS systems to show totals with and without coupon so customers and tip appropriately. It's a lot to ask a customer to add back the cost of an item. Where to start..? Ive been to this location couple of times and endured some lackluster service which is fine given it's waikiki. I get it, tourist town, big name company, they probably dont care. But...take a look at the napkin. NO REALLY, LOOK AT THE NAPKIN. I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. Hopefully the HI dept of health takes a look. We came here for their lunch specials which was a good value. We ordered the shrimp pan fried dumplings that were really good. They were the best part of the whole meal! My Mongolian beef was ok, not the best. I didn't expect it to be sweet so that caught me off guard. In general my food didn't have much flavour to it. The egg drop soup was good. My brother had the teriyaki chicken and wasn't impressed either. His spring roll was ok as well. His beer was at a good temperature, my coke was not there. It was lacking something, it didn't taste right. On top of that, my glass was dirty in the inside with something that looked like orange juice pull stuck to it. Service was good with the outdoor seating. The only miss was that we were not given the card back and had to come back at night to get the credit card. Overall, it's just ok not good/great. Our server, Devin, seemed distracted and we had to flag someone down a few times just to get refills and check on our order. P.F. Chang's has really gone downhill since they were bought by private equity. I had a 5:30 reservation and checked in a few minutes early. They didn't even try to seat me for 20 minutes. It wasn't even busy yet. If you get a reservation, consider getting one half an hour earlier to account for delays. The food quality is much worse than I remember from when I lived near one. The orange chicken used to come out crispy, and the sauce had real orange flavor and some complexity that wasn't just sugar. Now, it's as if they watered down some marmalade and soaked the chicken in it. It wasn't crispy and it wasn't good. I suspect the ownership are cutting as many corners as they can so they can make money driving the restaurant into the ground. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was ok. It's all dark wood and low lighting. We made reservations on OpenTable. It was a Saturday when we went there for late lunch. You can park at Royal Hawaii Shopping center and get your ticket validated but still a little pricey. We started with some appetizers. I got the bean tempura and that was delicious. And my meal I got the beef stir fry with the fried rice. It was delicious. I'm glad they didn't rushed us and we got to catch up with my friends. The place is clean and we sat downstairs. Upstairs is outdoors. Great customer services. Pretty good location and service at this P.F. Chang's. We came here for lunch to get to happy hour while on a honeymoon in Hawaii. There is plenty of seating and the service is really nice. Their happy hour specials include wine so that was a plus. The food is as expected and you get a lot depending on if you take advantage of the 3 course meal. Pleasantly surprised! Haven't been to PF Chang's since it was near Ward. Hosts were not friendly, no smiles, no welcome to PF Chang's, nada, that was the only down side, you would think especially in Waikiki where there are tourists galore, not a great representation of the Aloha spirit, but we were seated right away, that was great! Our server was welcoming! Nice decor, Asian themed, red , black and gold, dragons and a staircase with nice art on the walls. Food and drinks came out fast, hot and everything was tasty! We each ordered the house salad to start and the pan fried pork dumplings, both were delicious! Where do I even begin on what was a lengthy trip from Waipahu to Waikiki? I had no idea what I was in for in terms of where I wanted to eat at, so...I guess finding myself at P.F. Chang's somehow convinced me to go eat over there for today. I have "sort of" heard about this place, but never ate over there. I'm just as surprised it just so happens to be in the Waikiki area. The place delivers in terms of the atmosphere and setting, that's for sure. Because it definitely feels like the kind of place where it definitely feels like a Chinese restaurant. I had a great lunch over there, which was their lunch special Chang's Spicy Chicken with brown rice and some Egg Drop Soup to eat with it. Super filling and definitely delivered in the presentation. At first, I didn't think it was too spicy, but having ate 3/4ths of my meal, that's when the heat started kicking in. The heat kind of cooled off after a bit, but at least it wasn't like...'in your face' or anything. Overall, in terms of experience, I'd say this was really enjoyable. Would I come back there again? I am a person who usually enjoys slightly higher-end, Americanized Chinese food, which is to say, I am a person who normally likes PF Chang's. The problem here is the staff. Our waitress was unpleasant and I think the rest of the crew tried to make up for it. She didn't come to our table for a long time. When I asked for an extra bowl and she brought it, she tossed it over and said "you're welcome" in a sassy way before I could even say anything. Just unfriendly, put out, and passive aggressive. It felt like the host and senior staff knew our waitress was a "problem employee," and checked in to see if things were okay, but that doesn't stop the experience from being unpleasant. Also, the food wasn't as good as it used to be. The entrees were good, the hot and sour soup was good, but the egg roll was cold, and my wife thought her egg drop soup was inedible. I made reservations for an early evening meal for our party of four. When we arrived, we were told to have a seat in the waiting area, which surprised me. After about 5-10 minutes, we were seated. It took at least 10 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us. We ordered drinks, which were delivered in a reasonable amount of time. After ordering four various meals, we received our them relatively quickly. Surprisingly, the meal portions were very small even though we ordered regular meal sizes. Being one to never complain, I asked to see the manager before eating our meals. He thought the meals sizes looked small but checked with the kitchen staff and was told they were prepared by their allocated weight.
