I don't eat fast food very often, but I do consider McDonald's breakfast(s) to be decent enough that it is an occasional good option. My latest visit to this McDonald's was just disappointing, but fortunately, I just ordered from the value menu, so my total in the drive thru ended up being only $3.24. The reason so many stars are docked from my review is simple: the sausage mcmuffin wasn't any good. The English muffin was too tough and the sandwich was actually cold. The reason: the cashier at the window advised me to pull up and wait for ice water I requested. This is the first time any cashier asked me to wait for ice water. It literally takes less than 10 seconds to fill a cup with ice and water. After a wait of 5-10 minutes, I called the store and no one answered. The only item I could really enjoy was the hashbrowns, which are hard to mess up. Next time I want breakfast, I'll just skip this place. read more

Not to be confused with MatDonald's, named after Trump's entire staff who were just doormats for him. He chose them for this reason I'm sure. By far my favourite location of McDonald's, and when Barbi was running my team for my music business, she used to come here and do a lot of work, and they were always very nice to her. Generally I agree with Eric... never give a McDonald's more than 3. But I make an exception for this one. We came the other day and had more of a 3-star experience than 5-star because while we did get out of here quickly and we did find a lot of cheap stuff on the dollar menu, the food itself wasn't great except for the french fries. Milkshakes not as good as I remember and burgers not nearly as good as I remember. And this is a special review for me, not just because it's review #17k which is cool, but because nobody ever posted that many before as far as I know, although a couple of other incredibly prolific Yelpers will very soon, and because it's the last review I'm posting on the day when I finally managed to achieve a long-standing ambition for my Yelp reviews, sometime this morning it happened, and even though this will only be my "most recent review" for 8 hours or so, I want to just dedicate this review especially to Barbi my love, she of the McDonald's promo sessions, and Terry my good friend, for being the most supportive people about my little mission and goal, and also to Alex, for also being so helpful and encouraging, especially in the early years but still to this day. I won't be continuing to Yelp nearly this much for too much longer, but it feels wonderful to actually achieve a difficult task having spent years working on it. It's no big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it's a big deal on a personal level so thank you Barbi, Terry, Alex, and others who have been supportive. Sorry that rambling sounded obnoxious I'm sure, but hopefully the people I mentioned will appreciate it :) Including this location of McDonald's for their support of my promo team all those years ago, and for offering us late night snacks without too much of a wait time on weekends! Disgusting! The food isn't fresh. Tastes like it's been microwaved a few times. Ordered a McDouble and small fries and the meat is hard and looks old. The fries appeared to be the broken little crumbs from bottom of the bag. I've gotta say, this takes place as the worst Mickey D's I've ever eaten at. The kids are friendly with good service but the food is horrible. Perhaps an adult needs to supervise their staff because all I see the kids doing is fraternizing in huddles while handing out stale food. LOL, this poor place. We ordered a Quarter Pounder, 10 McNuggets and Oreo McFlurry and also had a coupon for free medium fries. The manager ended up charging us for fries, so we had to get her to refund us. Also, we pulled up and they only gave us fries and did not give us the rest of the order so we had to pull up and wait for a bit to get the food... when he came out to give it to us, he asked us what he got again. I didn't know that McDonald's does delivery. It's nice that they do this during COVID. All their workers are wearing gloves. After 2 horrible visits decided to give them one more chance. This time I used the mobile app, did everything needed to place an order. As soon as I got there I typed in the parking spot in the mobile app in the space provided. After 15 minutes, I decided to go in to see what was taking so long and to see if I can receive a refund. After explaining my story and asked for a refund, they called the manager. So explaining my story once again, he pretty much said it was my fault and not theirs. Do not buy coffee from McDonalds!!!!!!! I NEVER come to McDonald's as it is, but I thought I would stop by and grab a coffee because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. After a long trip my son wanted some McDonalds - We live in the Heights so I thought I would just stop at this one because its close to the house. We get home and one of his cheeseburgers has no meat in it. Wow that is bizarre I say to myself but since its a couple blocks away I run up there to get another one. I talk to the same guy in the drive through I just paid for my order - I am even more sure its the same guy when I get up there I have to tell him again what the problem is - I hand him the burger with one bite out of it and no meat in it - He apologizes and says pull up front we will get you another one. Im there 10 minutes waiting .....at this point its the principle of the thing - So I walk in and ask them again what is going on? OMG! Really, if you r going to offer breakfast after 10:00 a.m. you might want to set aside an hour out of your day. Ordered an Egg McMuffin, sat and watched 20 orders go bye, not a lie, i counted, they post the numbers overhead. 22 minutes later, their excuse is it takes longer because they have to do something or the other, excuses, excuses, for incompetence. McDonalds, newsflash, you r serving inferior products, fried slurry chicken meat is gross, stop the seasonal stuff like McRib, it works, like pork is in season or something, should be available full time, what ever happened to popcorn chicken, real chicken, really good, loved them, have not seen them in 2 years. Get the news letter, real meat, good taste, your food prices are not cheap, they are on par with your competitors, but your quality is lacking, one cannot survive on french frie sales alone, which are usually sold cold, ever heard of botulism. Serving cold food escalates the danger of food poisoning, while waiting for my partners Egg McMuffin i waited 22 minutes to eat my McSlurry, excuse me McNuggets, they were cold, as were the fries, because they sat in a paper bag, on the counter. And yes the manager was right up front and was aware of our wait, i just do not understand the amount of time it took to cook up an egg. So dont think that i am someone who does not understand the stress of being a short order cook, i did it at Dairy Queen, Sonic, and a cook at a few resturants, there is no excuse. Went to drive thru, whichmwas quick up until i picked up my order. The young man at the window with a blue shirt was not very friendly. I asked for straws and was andwered with. "Didn't I give you some?" I dug thru the bag and said no! He proceeded to give me my straws and i asked him for ketchup on a #1 & #3 meal both large to get 4 little ketchups in return. Today I went there for the 1st time, when I got there a lady was asking the cashier to speak with the manager n she was clearly upset, then my order number was 174 n after 20 minutes I noticed they skiped my order n they were on order 178, I then asked for my coffees n they started preparing a new coffee at that moment instead of 20 minutes ago, then like 10 minutes later I went to check on the coffee n it was already brewed but nobody was preparing it yet, I then complained with the assistant manager (black long hair with a pony tail) and instead of apologizing for all the wait, she didnt say anything to me n she just turned away n ask the employees about my coffees n only then I got my 3 coffees, at that time a lady was complaining with the cashier that she got her order wrong n to my surprise another lady started talking to the other cashier n she told her she was missing something from her order, all of this happened in about 40 minutes...... Ive never seen a restaurant this disorganized n Ive been in plenty of Mcdonalds all over the country and in other countries too so I thought it would be important to make this my 1st review on yelp.
