Because I can't give it no stars or a fraction of one star. I ordered at the drive-through and. Tyannami didn't respond. So I drove up to the window. Then she acted surprised and was verbally abusive. Then told me I was entitled and she was openly rude. Next her and her staff follow me outside because I drove away. If you want to be safe and not have your food spit in, then I would avoid this McDonald's. My daughter likes to go there on Saturdays for hotcakes and sausage every couple months. This may be one of the worst drive thru locations I've been to. I don't blame the staff because I feel like this location is understaffed, but to wait 20 minutes in the drive thru to order and not even get to order food isn't fun. I then went inside and it was clear that the two people working were overwhelmed. Which stinks for them. Management, please get them some extra help. Drive thru is supposed to be quick and efficient and it's not fair to your staff. From the time I parked and walked into order on the kiosk I waited another 30 minutes, which for fast food isn't fast. I would recommend if you're understaffed please put a sign up to manage expectations. While the food was hot, patience was running thin due to exorbitant wait times. Finishing a review that was so negative I didnt want to post it but I decided to do it after reading what I had already wrote. No one expects perfection from McDonald's, especially on CR-210 in Saint Johns, but this was the worst fast food experience I've ever experienced. So bad, in fact, kids trying to get fired couldn't screw up worse than this manager and employees on this expedition to get a Bigger Big Mac. The order was 4 large Bigger Big Mac value meals. 3 with large Cokes and 1 sweet tea. 5 strawberry creme Pies (trying for the 1st time) and 2 double cheeseburgers (to see if they were improved, too). When they handed me the drinks, one was a Sprite, and I said I didn't order that. The drive thru guy replaced it with a coke looking beverage that was already on the counter. He then said they only have 3 strawberry & creme pies, and I told him to substitute the cherry pie. I expected that and wasn't surprised when they only had 3. Since I didn't give them a hard time about the Pies, I wrongly assumed they would show their appreciation to check that the order was right. Wrong..... I asked the drive thru guy if everything was there he he assured me everything was in the bags. I didn't want to be the guy who held up the long drive thru line at rush hour, so I drove home with the dream of hot, freshly made Bigger Big Macs. Arriving at home, I unpacked the bags with my wife and 2 of my kids with growing anticipation of the new Bigger Big Mac dancing in our heads. All of us thinking of extra meat patties plus extra special sauce. After all these years, we're thinking they finally fixed what was wrong with the Big Mac..... Back to the unpacking...First, no napkins. This is McDonald's, and the employees always forget these. No big deal. Next, there are no straws for the drinks. No big deal, we're at home we can put the drinks into a glass. This is a McDonald's on CR-210, so it happens 25% of the time at a minimum. Next, that wasn't a sweet tea drive thru guy added instead of the Sprite. It was a regular tea, not the sweet tea that was ordered. Next, the fries. The fries were brown. All of them. They were the brown color the fries turn when they sit out too long and then got reheated. They also had absolutely no salt. Honestly, they were the worst fast food fries I've ever had. The double cheeseburgers felt warm, at least. Now, the moment we've all been waiting for!!! The unvailing of the Bigger Big Macs!!! Wait...... they are not in that empty bag, and they aren't in that empty bag either. Holy $hit, they didn't give me the Bigger Big Macs. One of my sons volunteered to drive back to get the Big Macs, the correct tea, some straws, napkins and to show them the brown fries. My son went inside the location and was given a tea, but after tasting it, it was discovered again that it wasn't a sweet tea. It was another unsweetened tea. They can't get a simple drink order right in 3 tries. He was given fresh fries after showing them the brown ones, however, these had a heart attack level of salt on them. My guess it's because he complained that the other order didn't have any salt. Now the worst part. The manager came over with a bag containing 4 Bigger Big Macs. She said the bag was left on a cart by the drive thru window and drive thru guy didn't see it. No apoligy, just that. She handed him the bag and walked away. My son said at that point he just wanted to go home and there wasn't any reason to explain to the manager the over an hour wasted trying to get fast food. My son arrives home with the "Prize" and we sit at the kitchen table to finally try it. The burgers were ice cold. We believe the manager gave my son the original 4 burgers that the guy at the drive thru didn't give us over an hour or more ago. It's the only way it could be so cold. Big Macs can't be reheated and maintain any deliciousness. The next day I got to enjoy a Bigger Big Mac at a different location and enjoyed it. Sadly, a short time after that I went to McDonald's to order it again and it was already off the menu. I'm so happy we now have other fast food options on CR-210 when the burger crave attacks. Not gonna lie, I never review McDonald's because they're always bad so who cares about the reviews lol, but I waited for someone to give me ketchup and everyone pretended I wasn't there, I was in a rush to leave so I grabbed it myself (it was in plain view and I didnt have to jump behind the counter or anything - it was in my reach). The lady starts yelling, she suddenly can see me!! What a miracle. She runs up to me and snatches the ketchup out of my hand and says "give that back NOW." I was like damn ok ......??? I was just shocked she physically touched me. I've experienced rude employees at McDonald's, they're always rude so I just never care, I always try to be nice bc I know the job is hard. But don't ever physically touch me or snatch things out of my hand that's like, next level nasty/rude. read more

Sweet Tea cost more here! I/we have been here a lot more than my check-in's reflect. We stop in 0 to 3 times a week due to constantly being in this area for different reasons...not to mention that I'm addicted to Sweet Tea. However, for me...my patronage has come to an end and will not frequent this location anymore. Sometimes we get food, but mostly for Sweet Tea...or Sweet Tea & Fries. When we get food, it's ok...not the best McDonald's, nor the worst. The Sweet Tea is normally good and the Fries are hit or miss...sometimes too cold or not fresh, other times they are hot & yummy. My son is addicted to the Fries...so we are quite the pair! But again, mostly we go for Sweet Tea...sad, but true. Although I'm addicted to Sweet Tea, I don't like being gouged. As of late, we've noticed the price for Sweet Tea increasing at "this" location. Even when I've noticed them raising the price at this location, I still stopped in...it's what we addicts do! However, now the cost for 1 single large Sweet Tea cost $1.49 before tax at this location - ridiculous. Other locations haven't raised prices like this location (and the other one we know of that has this same owner). Other locations still honor the $1.00 for any size drink. We pay a $1 more overall for 2 sweet teas compared to other locations...$3.18 with tax. You can practically get a 3rd drink anywhere else! 2 Sweet Teas with tax is normally $2.13 - $2.18 depending on where we get it. I know this may seem minor, but it adds up. The price for fries may be higher as well...the totals are just off compared to other locations. Obviously, the owner of this location wishes to take advantage of not only the great location right off 95, but wishes to take advantage of the regular customers & locals as well. Business is business I suppose...but as customers we have a choice. It was a treat for us, but I feel as though we're being taken advantage of and obviously our business isn't needed, so we'll keep on driving by...it'll help my addiction anyway and save money. They'll do fine with folks that don't pay attention to the cost and just stop for the convenience of the location. We do have a choice...so bye, bye to stopping here! A few other things to be aware of at this location: Entering the area is fine and parking is ok. The drive-thru is odd...definitely mind your wheels, mirror and the front end of your vehicle after ordering and pulling forward. In addition, exiting can be tricky since it's the same as the entrance and how it's shaped. There is another exit for trucks, but it's really for trucks...so be careful if you try to use it. Lastly, they did away with the military/veteran/uniformed discount long ago that I mentioned in my initial review. read more

We are from Ohio, and pulled off the exit to get breakfast which went to 11 today, which back in ohio it only goes till 10:30, so we were able to grab it this morning. It was delicious! My caramel frappe was the best one i've had, and i get them religiously. Our food was amazing as well, it was really hot and clearly just made. THIS IS THE WORST MCDONALDS IN JACKSONVILLE!! It's supposed to be a 24 hour McDonald's and it's connected to a truck stop. At some point of the night a young lady tells you she only can accept cash ? This seems like laziness to me if anything Your systems always down specifically at one point in time at night past 11-12? If I could give them less than 1, I would. Their service is terrible. The manager walks about with a mask on all the time. It's nothing wrong with that, but you are calling orders out from the kitchen and it's hard to hear you. No one comes to the counter and ask if they can help you. I went in there to pick up an order and stood there over 25 minutes before I could get the manager to say anything. I told her I had been standing there over 20 minutes for my order and she started mumbling something from behind the mask. I also told her everyone that came after me was gone. Another came up and told me that was not true and started arguing with me. I have an app on my phone that tells me when I arrived at McDonald's and this person doesn't know that. I've been to this McDonalds location a handful of times and each time I go there it gets worse. The service is terrible, the employees seem like they don't want to work and they half-ass our orders or they would straight up turn us away, giving excuses like "we're only accepting cash right now", at 11pm? Not to mention the drive through. I have to usually wait 30 minutes in line and then another 15-20 to get the food. And then the food is never fresh or any customization requests are not followed. You could pay extra for some extra toppings and still not get it. Never returning here. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

You should know the lot lizards working the counter dont make the eggs earlier then 5am. Cause they gonna get soggy. I have not been to a mcdonald's in about 3 years. but lately i had been craving it. I went to the McDonald's drive-through and terrible staff. they told me to speak up louder even though I was basically shouting and I just really got frustrated because I was yelling basically and they were telling me that oh you need to speak up. Oh you're being too quiet so I just went up to the window and told them my order and I said something must be wrong with your microphone because I was screaming and they said nothings wrong with us. Something might be wrong with you, so after that, I decided that I will not be going there again and I just they told me that after I got my food which was completely disrespectful and I kind of just said I would like a refund and I went to Chick-fil-A instead also when I checked my order they did not have any of the food asked for there honestly I'm sorry I hate writing reviews like this but I mean please like I don't not recommend going here obviously it's a good place I've been here before but they must've gotten a new staff because I've never been treated that poorly at a drive-through. read more

This is a great place to go through the drive-thru and pick up a large piping hot cup of coffee for a morning pick me up! They are super efficient here and it's never been a hassle whenever ordering. The coffee is always fresh and perfect. And although I do not actually eat the food, I must give them props for having a dependable cup of Joe for about $1.06 when I'm visiting family on this side of town. Very civilized! :) read more

Decided to stop en route to 95 and Disney, since we have to pass by anyway. I am a big fan of the egg whites, so ordered that as part of a sausage McMuffin. Didn't open it until already on the freeway, and realized that the cheese hadn't even melted all the way. I decided to give it a go, which may have been a mistake, as within twenty minutes of attempting to eat this, I was feeling sick. Never threw up, but just felt gross for the next few hours. I will mention it lacked flavor, so I ended up tossing it after just a couple of bites. If we hadn't already been back in the road, I would have asked for a refund. My kids got hash browns, and said they were ok, so maybe it was just what I ordered. The staff was very nice, and got everything out quickly. The restaurant looked clean, and the condiments were stocked, all of which isn't always the case at some McDonald's (see a previous review of an out-of-state location). Now right after I placed my order, I heard them say they were taking down breakfast to begin lunch, so maybe that is why my sandwich wasn't as decent as t could have been? We will never know, lol. As some other reviews have mentioned, this location is attached to a Pilot gas station, which has its pros and cons. Cons being the sheer volume of people there at any given time. If you are in a hurry, you may have to wait a little bit. Granted I did not on this stop, but the staff seemed to be really efficient yesterday, so maybe that's why. Pros are locations, locations, location. For us, it is nice to stop and fuel up and grab a quick meal before heading to Disney. For someone traveling on 95, the same applies, plus the restrooms were clean, which is ALWAYS a big bonus! I would have given more stars if I hadn't felt sick. That's a big no-no. The McDonald's at truck stop is horrible at night. When drive thru is open they don't take orders until u get to window and that could take at least 10 minutes per car. They are supposed to be 24 hours but around 1130pm they close often to take breaks. Wish we had a Chick Filet around here or Taco Bell. read more

When I saw the screen and noticed it was wrong I was unable to reach the girl who took my order so when I came to the window I asked to have it corrected. The gal said "are you kidding me?" Ah....no. While on a road trip, we went through the drive thru at store 7004. Both happy meals had the wrong order's for the cheeseburgers, so we stopped at this McDonald's (next one we saw) for help. After showing them the receipts and the burgers, they refused to make it right. While McDonald's do have different franchise owners, this fast food restaurant showed zero customer care. On a long drive my family came by in the middle of the night. There was one employee there and she had to deal with customers seemingly alone. Under pressure, she got everything done efficiently and effectively. Even when a group of obnoxious kids came in, she handled us with care and treated us well.
