The food is exactly the same as everywhere else in the country and the ice cream maker is never down. I had my first in app error message and the staff were very quick to understand the problem and right it. I thought they were really pleasant to work with and I understand these delays are outside their control. Upon research I've found the delays mentioned aren't actually their fault but they have had rules and directions come down from corporate such as closing the dining room when there is a lack of staff which can impede customers plans. read more

On Tuesday May 9th afternoon, I was thirsty and my brother gladly stopped by this MCD. Outside exterior looks nice but we waited in the drive thru window for 10 min waiting for someone to take our order while other people got their orders taken at 2nd drive thru speaker right away. Strange isn't. We got tired of waiting and drive straight to cashier window. She took our soda order and apologized. Will reconsider coming back to this location (even if it's the only one in town), if they don't honor their coupons. I had one for a free coffee and hashbrown with the purchase of a breakfast sandwich. They've always let me upgrade the combo to a McCafe smoothie. So, I asked for an upgrade to the turtle macchiato. The poor young man at the counter was utterly confused and said he couldn't do that. I told him to forget the coupon, I still wanted the combo anyways. He rang up for a regular coffee. I said no, not the regular coffee the macchiato. He said he couldnt ring up two orders at a time. I only wanted the one order. He rang up the macchiato and I said I had a military discount. He couldn't figure out how to rung it up. Either remain consistent, honor your coupons, or I won't be back. Late night trip through the drive thru for me and the pup. Ordered and paid for chicken deluxe sandwich but received the plain breast on bread version. Ordered the dog a plain hamburger and had to scrape off the condiments. My iced tea had no ice. The person taking the orders can't hear the customers. Something is wrong with the system. very poor customer service!! the workers are constantly messing up my orders (forgetting half the order every time) and the only way to fix the issue is to actually drive all the way back to try to fix The issue because they won't refund you over phone even with the receipt. The employees are completely incompetent, rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. The food was a good meal. Came here for both Breakfast and Lunch today. Both times I was Ordering Meals and in the morning they left out my HASHBROWNS. You shouldn't expect much from a fast food joint. Let's say that upfront. But, it seems like you have to double check your receipt and cross reference what you actually got - if, or when, you do order. 7 times out of 10 I'll be missing a specific part of an order, or I'll be missing something completely. Normally, I don't eat out. But when a friend or family member of mine want something quick this always seems to be the answer. And that's when we don't have time, so it makes the trip inconvenient when our order is incomplete. read more

I can't eat sesame seeds so my hubby ordered a Big Mac on a plain bun. He should have remembered that you ALWAYS check your order before leaving the counter, because 9 times out of 10 it's wrong! He brought it home (I was sick and needed a big mac fix), I opened the box and saw a sesame seeded bun! I then removed the bun and figured I'd just eat it without that and then realized there was NOTHING in the bun except two beef patties and one piece of cheese. The idiots made it a plain Big Mac instead of a Big Mac with a plain bun! No sauce, no pickles, lettuce, NOTHING bug two meat patties and one slice of frickin' cheese!!! This McDonald's R A R E L Y fills the French fry container all the way for drive thru orders (see picture for typical fulfillment of drive thru order of Large fries). It's an ongoing issue over the last several months. We believe if we pay for a large fries, we should receive a large fries, and not a medium fries in a large container. Otherwise it's like stealing money back from your customers in the form of food. It should also be noted that over the last month or so, the fry quality has been terrible. The fries used to taste good, now they are oil soaked and taste like hash browns/old oil that isnt changed out very often. So now when you order fries, you are not only gipped on getting your money's worth, you are also getting terrible taste/quality. We are soooo fed up with this issue and are considering not just withdrawing all future fry purchases from this McDonald's ( a significant portion of our orders), but all of our business on principle. read more

Just like the mcDonalds everywhere you go, friendly staff & as clean as any store can stay in Alaska (thanks to mud & rain). Has a pretty good sized kids playground inside which is nice because it never stops raining in Juneau. 2 drive through order stations open 24 hrs is nice for when you get in late to town while traveling. Very close to Super 8, Best Western, & Travel lodge hotels. Had a face lift inside a few years back, so looks very up to date now. read more
