I ordered the Kailua Fire burger with onion rings and an iced tea. The burger alone was $22, and my total (with the side and drink) came out to about $36. For that price, I expected a lot more. The burger was cooked correctly, but the flavor was underwhelming. The BBQ sauce had a nice mild spice but was used sparingly, and the cheese wasn't fully melted. The onion rings were typical--greasy and likely from frozen. Service was the biggest issue. The iced tea urn was completely empty, like it hadn't been refilled or cleaned in a while. The staff member at the register seemed unsure how to handle it and didn't offer a refund or solution. I had to ask for two medium sodas instead. Timing was also frustrating. Our food took at least 20 minutes, and everyone else in our group finished eating before we got ours. They didn't bring items out as they were ready--we had to wait for the entire order. Even drinks weren't provided while we waited, aside from a couple of shakes that came out early. For five people, the total was around $130, which is hard to justify for what is essentially fast food. At these prices, I'd expect much better food and service. I wouldn't go back.

I would like to try other dishes to see if they do well with other types of food. We also ordered the teriyaki chicken bowl. I did not taste any but it looked good and included broccoli which is an upgrade over just having mac salad.
