This McDonalds is on my route to & from work & is unfortunately my only option for getting a quick meal on the way to work. The employees are friendly but that doesn't make up for the bad quality of the food & the employees always getting your order wrong. McDonalds food is bad no matter where you go. Unfortunately we don't have a Wendy's on this side of the island & McD's is my only option for food on my way to work. But going to McDonalds can be fun because you never know what food you will end up with. McDonalds always gets your order wrong. It doesn't just happen at this McDonalds, it happens everywhere. If you are starving & you have time limits that prevent you from decent getting food anywhere else, this is the place to go. read more

Omg I've never waited so long in a drive thru order . Get it together!! My mom even came here a few nights ago and waited for 45 min for her food. The window people are good customer service it's the management I assume like nothing is getting done . I'm going on 20 min still the food I ordered is not here !!!! read more

If I could rate this place a zero I would. The service here is sooooo slow. Since the McDonalds at Windward City Shopping center was being renovated, it was either go to Kahuku, Kalhi, or bear the service here. I went here one night and ordered chicken nuggets for my girls. It took more than 10 minutes to get our food and there was only 2 people that ordered before me! It seems that everyone here only operates at 1 speed and that's slow motion. The manager actually works hard, but I think she's too afraid to tell her workers to get their ass in gear. If that's the case, they should demote her to head cashier and get someone that can delegate duties so that the place runs faster and smoother. Other times I've been here, I've literally waited in the drive-thru for more than 30 minutes. And we're only talking about 10 cars deep. If you need your fix of nuggets and fries, wait till you reach Kahuku. Even though you have to wait 30 more minutes to get there, you'll get your food in the same amount of time and at least you're that much more closer in reaching your destination. read more

I was disappointed to find this is the only McDonald's I have been to (except for airport McDonald's) that are not honoring the dollar menu for soft drinks. Further, their drive through lane is EXCEPTIONALLY SLOW. I mean, really really slow. There were only three cars in front of me, and I waited 15 minutes for two overpriced soft drinks. I tried to get out of line and leave, but you are intentionally blocked in by telephone poles on either side. A poor experience. read more

My wife went through the drive thru today. Ordered a salad. When she got home, wrong salad given. She went back to get the correct salad. Someone finally helped her. She could see the person in the back making the new salad by taking off the stuff on the top and using the wrong salad lettuce in the new salad. My wife told the person upfront she did not want the wrong salad lettuce in the new salad. Person said ok and when to tell the person making the salad. My wife then saw that person pickup both salads and slam them in the garbage can. Person then walked off somewhere. Other person followed and brought him back. At that point my wife could hear that person grumbling about what a waste it was. He then brought out the new salad at which time my wife said I don't want the salad and want a refund. He apologized and the other person went and got the manager who also apologized. My wife and I like McDonald's but don't expect anything close to decent customer service. read more

Was told to park on the side after only ordering french fries. "Waiting on fries, can you park on the side?" So I parked...and waited and waited....and waited. I swear like 5 other cars pulled thru and left without parking. Are you telling me that NONE of them had ordered fries?!? So I go in...and there's NO ONE (customers) in the lobby. By this time even the drive-thru was empty. I was asked right away if I needed help. I asked about my fries and they just go, "oh." Turn to the fry area and make me a thing of fries. No, "I'm sorry." No, "I'm not sure what happened? Sorry for the confusion" No nothing. The guy that told me to park comes out from the back and exclaims, "I didn't say anything!" Smirking the whole time. I told them I ordered the fries 20 minutes ago, and show them the receipt with the time stamp. Still no apology. Rude, terrible customer service. And after all that, the fries weren't even hot. read more

Ok so we often go to this location for dessert with our kids... drive thru. Usually good service, usually freshly made ice cream cones. The young ladies working this evening need an attitude check. Suggestion to these ladies: do not make the ice cream cones before the people who ordered it roll up to the window. You just never know how long the customer in front of the dessert people will take. If you do and the customer politely asks you to make a new one because it's already dripping and melting down the cone by the time they roll up then smile, apologize and make a new cone. Attitude is not necessary. Good customer service is necessary. read more

Despite the sorta yucky bathroom (which is standard I guess for McDonald's ever since they took out paper towels), this place is kinda nice. I hesistate to give it four stars but they do deserve it for the fact that they speak English as their first language so they're easy to understand and they have never got my order wrong here. No offense to other McDonald's but it's hard when they don't get what I'm trying to say or screw it up. Or the fact that I don't understand when they repeat my order. Admit it, it frustrates you too! Anyway, as for the food? Meh it was okay... we got the two cheeseburger meal... oh so delicious =). It also has a drink refill area, which was slightly disorganized but what do you expect there too? Also, the seating area was really nice but just really dirty like sticky on the table and it could use a good wiping. Other than that, I mean same MCD experience as anywhere else. read more

Clean and friendly are their best qualities. Accuracy is good I only remember one or two mistakes. Their frappe and ice cream machines are down habitually, boooo!Three out of five times the wait is looooong but that's during the peak periods. I think the staff here a good workers, they need to work on anticipating their rushes! And they'll be more successful . Catch them any other time of the day and they're quick! The iced coffee disappoints me a lot when it first came out it was always consistent! Creamy and sweat which is what their commercial describes and proclaims to its consumers! But lately they serve it bitter and a darker color (less cream) I always have to request it to be creamier/sweeter and even then it's bad! I mean why are the serving it like that, did they change the recipe? read more

Got a psl, coffee was good. The cashier, Robert, was very curtious while I was ordering, he even asked me latter how the psl was.

Always such great customer service but I got an order that they made us wait for and between my two medium fries one of me tasted like it was made yesterday. Which sucked. #ilovemyfries read more

I've been to this McDonald's quite a bit and it's been pretty good experience. The only probably I have is every time I get their fries they are always cold and not cooked long enough. And I always end up wasting them. read more

This place literally sucks now. We went to get some food one day for my younger siblings, we waited for about 15 minutes for some chicken nuggets, fries, and a snack wrap. To top things off when we got our food I doubt they even knew it took for ever and the nuggets/snackwrap were cold and the fries soggy. I thought maybe they were having an off day, but everytime we go there this happens. THE SERVICE/FOOD BOTH SUCK BIG TIME. read more

Horrible! First off drive through line was super long so we decided to walk in. Walked in. There were a bunch of people already waiting for there orders. My husband and I stood there at the counter in front of the register for roughly 10 min. No one made eye contact with us nor asked if we needed to be helped. There were 2 managers visible on duty & they also failed to see that a line was growing behind the register. After the 10 min of waiting the women walked over to us as I thought we were going to be helped. But we were juked. She quickly walked back to what she was doing & we still waited. The gentleman behind us said are we invisible? We replied I think so. He proceeded to tell us, if you won't say anything to them then I will. It was already going on 13 minutes without any one noticing us. Finally the women walks over to the register & just looks at us. Like we were inconvenience to her. She didn't say anything like "HI sorry for the wait can I help you". Nope! She was straight up rude & very disrespectful. All. Have to say to that is if you don't like your job then don't work there. After we ordered we have to wait another 12 minutes for our order. I am so disappointed with the horrible service that this mcdonalds has given. The lack of 2 managers being present & still not being able to handle the situation in a better manner is very disappointing. And to add to this a man tried to ask the women at the counter if they sold newspaper. She kept ignoring him. So I decided to ask the mcdonalds worker that was sitting by the register, looks like she was not yet clocked it yet, but I ended up asking her, do you use sell paper? She replied yes. So I told the man yes they do sell newspaper! Come to find out paper wasn't delivered this morning. All I know is a lot of customers were upset & short tempered because of the lack of exceptional service. read more

I had the most horrible experience I have ever had in a McDonalds!!!! We ordered breakfast only to have forgotten a orange juice when we got to the second window the cashier said she couldn't do it. They told me I had to wait because I had a big order. Okay 4 sandwiches and 2 coffees so I asked can you add the orange juice since I'm waiting for the order anyways. The cashier said no. So I asked for a manager when he came over Ashley from SAN Diego like his name tag read. Said I told you we can't and your holding up my line so go or I'll call the cops!! I was outraged by his answer I couldn't believe the customer service he was giving me. I told him first of all I'm a customer not asking for freebies and asking to add an orange juice. Second I haven't even received my food!!!! So he yells at the cashier get him his food and get him the hell out of here!!.... I couldn't believe the way this guy was speaking to me it was horrible!! read more
