What a piss poor excuse for a McDonalds. I go in the drive they and order to crispy chicken with no pickle. One was a meal and extra crispy with NO pickle. 2 Happy Meals. The chicken sandwich has no sauce and is fry plus on the one that ordered with no pickle all they did was open the sandwich and take pickles off leaving the damn pickle in my chicken. Very few people seem to like this McDonalds but we've always had luck here. It's a newly renovated site and looks really nice inside like a Starbucks. We come here about once every other month for an Oreo McFlurry which is always a big treat. Whenever we've been here it's been during a slow time so we haven't had to wait long. I struggled to give this place 1 Star. My family and I are located in a Rancho so it is a convenient location for us to travel to, by no means to buy from. I refuse to get any food items from there due to so many previous issues and poor, poor quality. I wish I could take away stars. Worst Fast Food service I've ever seen. We ordered a breakfast platter. Sausage and a smoothie through Uber eats. Delivery said 20 mins. We had 3 different drivers assigned to the order because the food wasn't ready. It took over 40 mins to arrive and when it did, there was ONLY a smoothie inside. I love the renovations and ambience ! The staff is nice and accommodating. I was there today and was greatly concerned when I saw a customer feeding her dog on the table! I understand this place was busy for lunch. (That's usually what happens at restaurants). However, we failed to receive straws, napkins, dipping sauce (even though we were asked) and they gave us extra fries instead of apples that we requested for the happy meal. As I was in the drive-thru a woman walked up to the window to hand them back drink that they filled wrong. By the reviews it seems I am not alone and that it's expected of this location to mess up orders. As a former manager of a restaurant chain (Panera Bread) I suggest you talk with your employees about checking orders. If I could give a minus rating I would. I went through the drive-through and was asked to park on the side. Since my order was not ready. I wanted for over 10min before the lady came out to me. She told me it wasn't my order. I asked about my order and the lady was very rude. She went back inside and I waited another 5 min before going inside and asking about my order. I live near this mcdonalds I honestly dont choose to come here because of my experiences. The first time i went there I ordered a mchicken but guess what.. when i get home to eat my food there was no chicken patty in my mchicken. My second time was just about a drink, the dude who took my order said everything back to me correct but when i got my drink it wasn't what i asked for. But today my boyfriend had gone and ordered for me & the guy taking his order said everything back right, but when he gets to the window and grabs his drink i told him to make sure that it was sweet tea & half lemonade, he asked the girl giving him the drink if it was half sweet tea & half lemonade she confidently said yes but i told him to try it and he said it just tasted like sweet tea. After him waiting 10 minutes she brought of his drink and he asked her if she could fix the drink. 15 minutes go by later and no one comes out with the right drink. He goes inside and she looks at him and says sorry then after another 5 minutes she finally gave it to him. Surprised it was even right! Then when he gets home i look at the food & guess what.. i ordered to mchickens but it had no mayonnaise & lettuce like it should have. Its honestly disappointing that a business thriving as well as any McDonald's does realistically let's all of this type of stuff slide. Almost every time I visit this location my car is parked. All they do is basically care about their drive-through time rather than being efficient with serving food. They have the park line interfering with starbucks parking. Their employees are careless of the customers time waiting for their food. I will definitely prefer to visit other locations. Yes, the ice cream machine is broken! The McCafe Frape machine is also broken! I thought I would add a quick trip for some coffee to Smart & Final grocery run. Unfortunately, the Frape machine "is ummm kinda like broken right now or something" so I reversed out of the driveway (there were no other cars) and took off. This is that McDonald's from every bad Intenet meme you have seen: the staff is unmotivated and orders often have missing fries or other food, the ice cream machine is was broken during all the heat waves over the summer and the drive thru line is slow. Health and time wise, you're better off skipping the arm pit of San Diego/East County McDonad's, buying some groceries and making yourself some food. We go to McDonald's a lot less, especially after all the bad experiences at this one, which is the closest to our home. If we actually want something from the menu as ordered, we have to go to Lemon Grove or Rancho San Diego. The structured drive through line is very short and the new dual line system is set pretty far back which backs up the merging line into both speakers (but gives other customers more time to not know what they want while looking at the menu from afar). I know that you can't expect much from a fast food place, especially when most employees are very young, but at least get my order, especially if I had to wait 15 minutes in the drive-thru line. Yes, that's correct. I made a simple 2 cheeseburger combo order. I was a little short on time because I had to be at work right after, but I thought it would be fine since I didn't think I'd have to wait so long in the drive-thru. Boy, was I wrong! I waited 15 minutes to get to the window after ordering, only to see the person at the window look at his screen and tell me that he didn't see my 2 cheeseburger order. I knew I was running late now, and I just told him that I had to go. All he said was, "Okay," and I took off. So disappointing, especially since I was craving fries. I wish I was just able to leave the line since I was pressed for time. I wouldn't leave the line if I didn't have a good reason, and I know they'd rather have us wait than for people to order and take off as a prank, but seriously, if I had waited literally one minute longer, I would've been late and I was already pissed off as it was being I didn't get any food. FYI, this happened on Friday night, June 14th, 2019, around 10:27pm. I know now that I didn't give enough time, but I also know now that this McD's at this time is the worst one to go to. Unfortunately, we got caught in rain while breaking down the campsite and desperately wanted to change into dry gear before we ordered breakfast. So, just take my word that the men's restroom was gross. We ordered a few breakfast combos (bacon and sausage) but the guy behind the counter made a point to correct my description from Mcmuffin to biscuit...am I tripping or have they always been called Mcmuffins? So, he kinda looked at me like I ordered a plate of drugs. He patiently waited for me to acknowledge I did not want a bacon, egg and cheese in between a muffin but rather a biscuit before he rang up the order...so I agreed. LOL, I then watched my GF go through the same routine. It was real special! Whatever in the end the Mcbiscuits, hash browns and coffee were fresh and hot. They have a TV in there which was nice because we were outta the loop for a few days. However, the real show was the developing line of hungry "Mcbiscuit wanting" customers...I mean we just missed a total FUBAR. The line was at least 15 people deep. By the time we finished our breakfast and drank a healthy portion of a large coffee they completed helping two customers (by HELP I mean the ordering of items and paying was complete) I never saw these poor customers get any food...all those people looked pissed!!!!! She was involved in some work place games throwing something all over the back kitchen. They were hooting, yelling, and saying "stop there is a customer" as if that should make a difference. This McDonald's is either a bunch of idiots or they're lazy!!! We've had multiple times where we make a special order and you get your food and it's not the way we ordered it. Of course we order in the drive-through but don't discover it until we get home. My husband made a simple order of four cheeseburgers with extra pickles and he gets home and there's two pickles on two of them and three pickles on the other two.
