I find it crazy how this store never has chicken tenders and the ice cream machine has been "broken" for months. Crazy! This place sucks

I'm an 80's kid, so I love me some McDonald's. We recently moved to the area, so the location on Avocado is our new McDonald's. We've been there twice. Both times the drive thru was painfully long. If I could have gotten out of line I would have left, but I was trapped. The first visit my order was wrong. We had another go at it a couple weeks later because McDonald's locations can vary a lot in service. Today was my second and last visit. My order was correct, but the fries tasted like they were a week old- even my kid wouldn't eat them! Even worse, my quarter pounder wasn't fully cooked! There's some serious health concerns with a burger this undercooked. Took one bite a spit it out. Ended up throwing the entire meal away. Waste of time and money. I will NEVER go back to this location again. So gross. read more

Girls were rude, didn't know who's food was who's and went back and fourth multiple times. Missed a couple of my items and by the time I went home, food was cold. I really wish i could give negative stars !!! Worst customer service ever ! First I want to know why a manager doesn't have a name tag on ! Second I went through the drive thru pulled up to the window she walks up and is throwing a bag at me . I hadn't even paid yet . Didn't tell me what was in the bag just threw it at me ! Then takes the money gives me change and no receipt . Hands me more food and then asks me if have everything , thought that was her job to make sure she handed me my whole order ! One of the managers there named GAIL is a very rude and mean person. I thought that when she waited on me because she was condescending and rude, (and I thought to myself, I will never come back to this particular location!) But then, all of a sudden when a young employee started yelling at her and saying (out of the blue) that "he couldn't take it anymore, that all the employees couldn't stand her, that she was the rudest person that he had ever met and that she was a very mean person with no heart," I was really upset! I come here every day. Purely because of convenience of location. Even though it's the closest location I am reluctant to choose this location. The employees don't even greet you with a standard good morning or welcome to McDonald's instead they ask "what do you want?" As if taking your order is a burden on their soul. I have come here many times hoping to get a better experience in the drive thru. Hasn't happened. Usually it is the first window the cashiers. Rude, short and always in a hurry. They do say your welcome and polite in a forced way. 5 out of 10 times I get someone nicer at the next window. After I had donated to the cause they had at the moment, the second window asked if I received a coupon, the cashier had no clue. So I was given one. I hate to write a review of McDonalds, and TBH I only feel comfortable doing so because I know it won't hurt their business (can't imagine people check Yelp for a McD's). But maybe the franchise owner or manager will see this and improve the customer service. I went there today (could have picked any number of places to eat), and bought several items for lunch. This included two mcchickens with no Mayo/lettuce. As I was picking up my order, I asked for two sauce packs (one for each). The employee told me I could only get one, and would have to pay for the other. I didn't have cash, and thought it ridiculous to run my debit card for 25 cents. I've never experienced this before, at all other McDonald's, it's never been an option. I can see putting a limit on it if someone buys a soda and then asks for 20 sauces to take home. But giving a paying customer a negative experience by charging for something that probably cost you at most 5 cents when they just spent $7 or so (not to mention when they saved you the equivalent fee cents by not getting Mayo or lettuce -- it's ridiculous to even be discussing such minutiae), that's just poor customer service in my book. So today I got called an idiot by a lady working there at the drive thru. I pulled up to the speaker, nothing. So I backed up to try the 2nd ordering station and NOTHING! so then I go to pull forward hoping to order from the window, as I am pulling away I hear a voice finally so I start reversing back to the speaker, and I hear a voice in Spanish through the speaker say "this idiot is reversing" So I say "YOU KNOW I CAN HEAR YOU RIGHT?" and drove off. I wish I could give negative stars. They are supposed to be opened 24/7 and there have been about 10 times that I drove there for a late night snack around the times of 11pm-2am and they were closed. There was workers inside but they shut off all the lights and don't answer at the drive thru. It's really annoying at night time they sometimes don't take card, only cash. This McDonald's is always slow. The drive-thru takes forever especially if you want to order french fries with your meal. Who doesn't want fries at McDonald's? Every time I drive through and order fries I'm in the drive-thru for a minimum of 10 minutes. The food, however, is consistent and relatively fresh almost always. Second time we've come here in the last two weeks, both times our order was deleted from the computer and we had to ask where our food was. The first time it was 24 minutes before we got our food today was more of the same. I'm not sure how they do it, but they do. The first time I watched the manager lady punch our order out of the list on the screen... she punched a button and our order number disappeared. I'll give them credit for being consistent in their ineptitude. I won't be back again..... DONE! As I write this we are STILL waiting for our food. 18 minutes and waiting. Total of 20 minutes to get our food today. Obviously there is a very real problem at this McDonald's and I'd start with management. The drive through attendant was not attentive. She assist three other vehicles before attending to us. When we placed or order we had to repeat ourselves multiple times in order for her to get it right, which she never did. We ordered two pies and she charged us for six. We asked for a receipt and she ignored us. She handed my wife a sundae which the employee almost dropped out if the drive through window. We sat at the window for four minutes waiting for the rest of our order, and a different employee asked us in a condescending way,"what are you waiting for?" We told her and she left. Horrible customer service. Went inside for a sweet tea and waited for what seemed like an eternity, no one even acknowledged us saying just a moment etc and the staff was right there the whole time. Finally they came up asking what we wanted? No apology for the wait or anything. Finally the girl came back and said here and walked off without even so much as a thank you. Used to come here quite often when they had the older women managers. Was one of the best McDonald's. Came today around 2 pm and the Hispanic women manager couldnt even get my order right. Had to ask me 4 times about what I wanted. Then I order the simple hamburger and there is no sauce on it. Not to be racist but because I live in Tecate Mexico but a manager should be able to understand a simple order.
