Worst possible service ever. I was in line after a long day at work where I didn't eat yet. As I'm waiting in line a customer is standing and talking to the cashier Tyler about giant sandwiches and carbs etc for about 8 minutes. Then as the customer walks away to his table Tyler just stared at me looking all confused almost like he didn't know what he was doing. Then instead of asking what I want to order, the customer walks back up to the counter and continues to casually talk to Tyler. Maybe next time you will tell someone who is just standing there talking to step aside for other customers if they are not going to order!!!! Also no one else behind the counter cared to even open another register while the chatty customer continues to talk about nonsense!!! Highly advise anyone to not go here. Of the fast food places in my area this is one of the better ones. The only drawback, is the walk-in service is not open. They are friendly, accurate, and get your food out to you in a timely manner. Yes it is just fast food, but they get it. I've been visiting other stores, not just McDonald's lately, and have found substandard practices. The app works, the people are busy, and the food [fries mainly] is what you want. Deals could be better, but hey it's a multi-million dollar corporation. They just renovated (Nov 2013) and are testing some new burgers (Dec 2013). BEST burger I ever had at a McD. It was some kind of artisan roll, real beef patty, guacamole, real white cheddar... Didn't get the name of it, but I hope it goes on the menu. Plus, they serve you at the table (not sure if that's just part of the food test, but it's a nice touch). Friendly staff.... They routinely forget parts of orders, overcharge for items, give substitutions in happy meals without notifying you and when questioned the manager throws up hands and says "what do you want me to do?" A simple solution is fix the problems. I don't expect much from these employees, but just do the job you are paid to do. The owner of this location is completly unresponsive. I sent an email describing in specifics the issues I consistently have at this location and received no response. We've lived in this area for about 14 years and having been going this McDonalds over those years. Over the last year (even before Covid-19) the service has been horrible. This morning was the last straw. We went through the drive through and submitted a simple order for breakfast of #2 and #3 Meal with large coffees as drinks. Now there were 4 cars in line which I feel a fast food business should be able to handle. We received our food at the window but had to wait for the coffees in a parking spot for OVER 20 MINUTES. I also noticed people around me waiting for food as well getting out of their cars and going to the door asking about their food that they ordered. Luckily the door was locked due to Covid. The best to the worst McDonalds ever... I moved here over a year ago and started going to this McDonald's occasionally for breakfast. It used to be fine, I actually commented when I first moved here how much I really liked the bacon at this McDonald's. It's seem thicker and better than most McDonald's bacon. I've noticed this place has been going downhill over the past few months. They don't care to get your order correct, stuff comes out cold, today I had a sticker with a barcode on it in the center of my oatmeal. "How many stickers have I've eaten in the past?"... lol. Hopefully none!!! I don't expect a lot from McDonald's, but I expect to at least have the stickers taken off the fruit before they slice it. Also my hash brown was so crispy in the center it was terrible. It was like they just took the center and just deep fried the heck out of it... and then decided to fry the rest of the hash brown. I ate the outsides and threw the center out. I'll be moving in a couple weeks and will never visit this McDonald's again. Good luck to all future travelers, you'll need it! read more

Hi - I am very disappointed with the management of this joint. The menu prices on display are all but the "meal" prices; the prices of individual items ala-carte are not shown, but one must request for this info on the clerk. The clerks DO NOT offer on-going sales; it is so disappointing to know after purchasing an item that there are on-going specials. Overall, I feel their pricing scheme is not forthright.....so much misrepresentation. Compared to In N Out Burgers, their menu is SIMPLE yet tasty, and their pricing is simple and fully disclosed right before your eyes.... no disception. Terrible location, 3rd time I show up to the drive thru and the night crew pretends to be closed. Stared an employee in the face and she stared right back and ignored me. The Create Your Taste (CYT) that this McDonald's offers is it's life saver. If they were smart, they will implement this into every McDonald's, and start offering their employees a little more benefits. Hopefully that will lure in more employees that will sustain the quality of CYT. Now to the food part. The burger was absolutely delicious. Juicy, soft artisan roll, nice juicy tender bacon, delicious guacamole! This is a HUGE step up for McDonald's! For the person eating in, expect a nicer black tray with a silver wire basket lined with paper where your burger is delivered with the bun off to reveal the decadent ingredients. Tired of the same ole McDonald's fries? I'd recommend trying their new sweet potato fries! Definitely exceeded my expectation! They also come served in a silver wire basket lined with paper! All times that i went, the managers were abnormally nice to me and really made sure that I got what I wanted! I've never seen such customer service from McDonald's! Good job to you guys! I think the guys name was carlos. Overall, the place is delicious! If you've previously marked Mcdonald's off of your list, I'd recommend giving them another shot by trying out this location! McDonalds really raised the prices on breakfast. the regular big breakfast went from 3.69 to 4.99. Pancakes and sausage went to 4.00. There is no reason for that large of an increase. Even if gas prices have gone up recently, it is too soon for them to be affected. I have no respect for companies that rip off people like that. read more

I understand that mistakes can happen and I'm pretty understanding when they do. Unfortunately, this time I'm angry that my order was not correct when picking up food for me and fellow employees. Every time I patronize this location there is something wrong with my order... Since this order was larger than usual, with one special request, I actually went inside to place my order instead of going through the drive-thru and again, YOU COULD NOT GET THE ORDER CORRECT. What a let down. I ordered a quarter pound meal for lunch and I have to say for $10.66 it was a rip off for the quality. The burger was not very fresh and rather dry. The fries were OK but could have been hotter or more recently cooked. The coke was a coke. For $6 bucks and change you can get a quality meal at In-N-out. Forget about this place. read more

went through drive through like we do a couple times a month. The staff is usually messes up when it comes to orders but they always fix it without any hesitation and even sometimes offer compensation for their mistakes ( they do mess up a lot). on 3/21/2015 i presided to order 3 fountain drinks for my family members which they all said tasted terrible. I presided to drive back to the location where the manager(Hispanic women) told me that the machine has not been working all day. I was flabbergasted and asked her if she was giving bad drinks to everyone and she responded yes. This is probably the most pristine McDonald's I have EVER seen. Here's the thing... when you go high end places and pay more money, you expect better service and a prettier environment. However, it's interesting to see a lower-end chain look so nice! The eating area is spotless. The restroom is super clean without a single single sign of any graffiti!!! I've been to hundreds of places and this place stands out because it says something about both the management and the people who frequent it. I often observe people, places, and things. It makes me wonder and question why being in the center of homes ranging from $500-$1M makes things different? For example, the store patrons are pretty nice folks. I had a stupid smile on my face and someone actually smiled back. ha ha ha... So disgusted that I almost can't even stand to waste this time writing about it. Placed mobile order on app for pick up on my lunch hour. (I was using the app all the time, but uninstalled it today for my own sanity and health.) I got to the McDonald's and the manager came out with my soft drink and told me that the app had an error and the sandwich that I had ordered was showing with a price or $0.00. I could not order this item at this time. At least not using the app, which kind of defeats the purpose of the ease and convenience of mobile ordering. I waited in that parking spot for around 15 minutes watching other cars come and go with their mobile orders. I live 30 seconds away so I have been here many times. The first few times coming here everything was correct, hot, and tasty. Maybe i was just lucky. It seems everytime i come now the fries arent hot, and the burger seems to be the only thing i get there that i enjoy. I went tonight to cheat on my diet and specifiacally asked if the employee could make sure the fries were hot, because the last few times i was pretty bummed. He replyed that it wouldnt be a problem, but appartently it was. fries werent hot again and chicken nuggets definintly had been sitting for awhile... and he didnt even ask about sauce for nuggets (i didnt even think about it until i got home). If I could rate a zero I would. Orders are always incorrect through the drive thru. I try to call once home and no one ever answers. We've lived near this particular McDonald's franchise for over a decade. My wife, my two daughters and I have generally liked the place. In the past six months, however, the drive-through (and even take-out service) has been abysmal. Food is, more often than not, cold and poorly prepared, Morning coffee orders I place are almost always botched. I just went there for dinner this evening (via drive-through) and the fries and the cheeseburger I ordered were cold. It is now 9:10 PM PST and I have basically thrown my food out. It's been building up for me for a while now to where I finally want to speak out about how bad this place is. Anyone who lives in Laguna Niguel, don't go here.
