I need to give credit where credit is due. Some months ago the operation at this location was taken over by some African American gentlemen, and it's been a complete 180 degree turnaround ever since. I used to hate coming here, so much so that I boycotted it for six months because I was so fed up. The GM's name was Angel, and he was an unprofessional jerk to me one day when I had an issue. Maybe he was like that all the time, which would explain why most of the other employees had terrible customer service skills and attitudes to match. Sometimes I would get courteous and good service but most of the time it was not good. They were very rude, didn't care if you were happy or not, and would just tell you NO to things. So much for the customer is always right! I even asked a drive thru worker if they could make my QPC with minced onions instead of the big sliced ones they normally have, and she straight up said no we can't. After my eyes returned from the back of my head I didn't even bother saying another word about it, much less asking for a manager. My first job was McDonalds in the 1980's and back then it was mandatory that the paying customer leave with a smile, or at the minimum feeling satisfied that their problem was resolved, and while taking care of people just doesn't seem to be a priority anymore with big box restaurants, this location was certainly on the worse end of the spectrum. I'm happy to say that ever since there was new management it's been a mirror image of what it used to be. Those guys were very professional and on point when it comes to dealing with people, and you can see it in the way they're running things in the back. And I'm assuming that has A LOT to do with the increased professionalism of the other employees- how much more pleasant they are, making fewer mistakes and being more accommodating, and so on. I'm not even a difficult person. My very first customer I served as a pimple-faced teenager I was trying to fold the bag neatly the way the training video showed, and he literally snatched it out of my hand and walked away like I wasn't an idiot. So believe me I get how it can be and I don't want to be that guy. But I spend a lot of money and just want to be taken care of if I have an issue and they've been doing that, for more than a year by my calculation. I only ever came back for the sake of my kids wanting it, but now I'm happy to come here. I'm sure there will always be problems and disgruntled customers with the volume that gets done here and the employee churn rate, but I just cannot emphasize enough how much better this place has been. Where shall I begin? Food is your usual at McD. Service is horrible at this location. This location got my order incorrect. I ordered a bacon and egg biscuit combo for $7.99. I was charged for $8.79 for a McGriddle Bacon and Egg Combo and that's exactly what I was given. I went back into the restaurant and asked for the biscuit sandwich. Then I asked for a refund of the difference that I paid. The cashier who is completely tatted on both of her hands was rude. The Hispanic manager was rude and anted to refund me 30 cents which is not even close to the difference owed to me. She was rude and lacked customer service!!! Everyone has a guilty pleasure fast food place, and McDonalds is mine. Growing up, it was the go to spot for fast food because what kid didn't want a happy meal? I've been to this location a few times because it's the only location near us. The staff are friendly, I've never had a problem with the staff, but just the food. The fries ARE ALWAYS COLD!!!! I'm unsure why and how because they are always so busy. It's not even warm, it's legit cold like they left them out all night then served them. Could this be that I order through the app then pick it up? They don't submit the order and charge you until you mark that you're there anyways. GET IT TOGETHER!!!! WE WANT PIPIN HOT FRIES! Not an often McDonalds eater. But my parents wanted a quick and cheap lunch to move on with their day. When we got there, it wasn't busy at all. maybe they had a ton of online orders? we ordered through the kiosk they have and the kiosk didn't spit out a receipt, whatever. we took note of the number and waited on the side. As we waited we watched SO MANY other orders come and go and finally a cup holder with my moms coffee and dads coke got sat on the counter. then eventually a bag with food. we were just waiting on a frappe. we waited waited and waited and finally we started getting impatient as so many other orders were getting fulfilled and ours was just sitting there cold. the one and only employee running around taking orders and giving them out to door dash finally asked us what our order number was. realized that the order was just waiting on a frappe. took a couple more orders at the register and finally went to the frappe machine and gave us our order. she did offer to remake my moms very cold hot coffee and my mom was getting impatient so she said NO. we got to the car, my mom tasted the coffee, no cream, no sugar. although receipt clearly said what we asked for. i went back inside and asked for a brand new coffee, had to state multiple times how much cream/sugar my mom wanted and still had to wait for other orders to get fulfilled before i got my moms coffee back. by the time we got to our food, it was cold, fries were not fully cooked, and my dads soda was watered down. The store on Mission Trail, Lake Elsinore has the most extended, slowest lines. Above all, the service is worse. They routinely serve lukewarm food at best because they do not adequately "quality check". The fries were floppy and greasy when I was in the drive-thru. I asked for fresh fries, but the shift manager (male with dark hair) was irritated. He put the fries in hot grease and recooked them. I ate in the parking lot and could tell the fries were not fresh but old. They may have come from the bin where they put returned or old food so it can be inventoried. The Chicken McNuggets were on point, they weren't too over cooked. All 3 of the McChicken Sandwiches were too slathered with mayo, had to take at least half of of each sandwiches. French fries were actually hot this time which is always a bonus. How was your server & service? Service is always good, I knew going into McDonalds around 3pm in the afternoon would be a hit or a miss when it comes to longer wait times but this was acceptable. 10 min wait; and I used the app which made it easier on the staff. What is the overall value of your money spent? Was it worth it? Overall value I would say its still a good bang for your buck especially if you use the McDonalds App and use the Rewards & Deals section. Now is it worth it going back to McDonalds, I would say yes. This is the closest McDonald's to where I live so I come here pretty often. It's right off the I15 freeway so me and the family like to stop by on our way to church since we take the freeway south all the way towards Escondido. I think this location is okay when it comes to quality and service. I mean McDonald's quality isn't really the best out there anyway so there's not much to say about it. The only issue I think this location has is a homeless and loitering issue. This part of town in general has that issue so I understand why there's not much they can do about which is why I'm not giving really low stars. read more

They were not in the bag when I got home. I know missing 2 sauces doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you make an order you expect that your order will be complete.
