Fridays during Lent = no "meat" so a filet o fish sounded great for my lunch. This McDonald's is closest to my job so I decided to make a run there. They have 2 drive thru lanes which is always nice to see - and the employees working the drive thru were friendly. I ordered my filet o fish sandwich and to my surprise it was only $2.99 WOOT WOOT! The sandwich was made the way only a filet o fish sandwich should be made ... single slice of cheese, a nice dollop of tartar sauce, that soft, warm bun and a piping hot square little fish square. Perfection! Will definitely visit again whenever that craving strikes or on another upcoming Friday during this Lent. read more

A compliment to McDonald's service at this location. The girl waiting on me was helpful, patient and sweet. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet (one TV, volume on low). Interior was CLEAN, bright and relaxing. When I arrived, I was overtired, hungry, cranky and achey from a small surgery I had yesterday. Who would have thought this quick stop on busy US 1 would have been such a rejuvenating oasis! My food was served hot and quickly. The same sweet girl who took my order, brought my meal to my table. (She noticed I was struggling a little.) Fries, as always, were excellent. The original crispy chicken sandwich was satisfyingly good (but not up to par with Wendy's - which is over the top delicious). That being said, I WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN HERE. It's McDonald! When you come here don't expect something spectacular. It's a good place to get decent price meals, amazing fries, and slow service from the drive-thru. I usually will get the 20 piece nuggets, large fries, and an oreo mcfurry. Also a large coke. The soda I have to say is the best. I enjoy the combo like the big mac and or the buttermilk chicken sandwich. The combo did increase over the years. I also enjoyed getting the bundle box because it comes with all my favorite food such as the nuggets, fries, cheeseburgers, and big mac sandwiches. It's a McDonald's. It's good for what it is. I mostly visit this McDonald's for the Drive thru which are somewhat problematic for this McDonald's. The drive they setup allows for two cars to place orders at the same time which seems to indicate that efficiency is the name of the game however there is only one person taking orders at a time. On one occasion they two orders from the other lane in back to back which made no sense. Special orders are kinda a problem if you order on the drive thru. If you want no mayo or cheese on a sandwich for example this seems not be something they can do well. DRIVE THRU REVIEW - This is one of the modern design McDonald's on Route 1 Northbound, in Lawrenceville, NJ. It is right next to a Super Wawa that was built at the same time in the space formerly occupied by Mrs. G's Appliances. It has a double drive thru setup, theoretically to speed up the order taking process. Looks nice, but as there is only one person taking orders, he can only do one at a time, so the increased efficiency is dubious. Still, the voice was friendly and patient, and when actually seen at the payment window, was also smiling and pleasant. This was my first bite into a Big Mac since it was downsized to look like a cheeseburger with lettuce and secret sauce, so it was a visual disappointment to see it and lift from its small box. There just wasn't much to it, and was consumed in the same number of chomps as its juniors. Taste was fine, if uninspired. The bun dominated. Fries were decently crisp. Van shake somewhat diluted and overwhelmed by the unnecessary whipped cream. Seems to me that their breakfast sandwiches are better than their burgers these days. A true "Meh"-burger. read more

Recently tried to stop by this McDonald's on a Sunday night a little before 10pm after getting off a flight at the Trenton Airport and they were closed! Completely lit up on the inside with cars around the parking lot but locked doors and no response to the drive thru. Went to the drivethru tonight and left after placing order due to time it was taking after placing. We were the 5th car back and waited 10 minutes after placing order and not moving up, I could clearly see that there were no transactions taking place with the first car at the window. The car in front of us also left S well. This was a really disappointing experience, there's absolutely no reason to have to wait that long, we went to the one at the Brunswick circle and were in and out in like 3 minutes with 2 cars in front of us after pulling up. Stopped by on the way back from my daughter's cheer competition as she was very hungry and wanted a kids meal. The young person serving me was very robotish. I ordered what she wanted since she orders the same kids meal every time. I wanted to get something that I can stick in the cup holder in my car and eat on the way without being messy. These darn new digital signs change at the exact moment when you try to order something. I jokingly pointed out to the cashier and he looked at me like "What? you don't know what you can get at McDonald's?". I actually wanted something like chicken fries from Burger King, but was looking for something similar at YuckDonalds. Anyway, the cashier was of no help to me. When I went to pay, I tried inserting my credit card (which has a chip) at the bottom of the terminal (most merchants want me to insert the credit card at the bottom for reading the chip). Instead of telling me they are years behind in technology and swipe the card the old fashioned way, he repeatedly pokes his finger at the place where you swipe your credit card, as if saying "you don't know how to use a credit card?". Worst McDonalds in the Country! I've been to many McDonalds over the years and they all are pretty consistent. Pretty good service, a hot burger at reasonable price. More recently we ve been back and forth to Florida and stop at McDonald's along the way. Our dog likes to have a Cheesburger with her pills! Well, I stopped at this new McDonald's 2 x in the past 2 weeks. The first time the drive through was about 10 cars long, so I went inside. Only one person ahead of me and it took about 5 minutes to get to me. Not sure why except everyone moving around,but no coordination of effort. After waiting 10 minutes more for 2 cheeseburgers, got my stuff and took it home. Lousy cold burgers. There didn't seem to be anyone in charge so I chalked it up to new location that couldn't handle all the drive through business. Went again this past week to pick up a couple burgers again. No one in drive through but I still went inside. Although not running around doing nothing, there were several people standing around doing nothing...particularly not looking at me at the counter. When someone did come, she had difficulty working the cash register...a guy came by to help, but didn't address me. What a confused lousy place...This place is poorly managed! read more
