Just left without food. Wouldn't give us sauce for nuggets- had to ask a manager for permission to get ONE sauce even though we bought multiple orders of nuggets. I was with a 4 year old that had to use the bathroom while we were waiting on our food. The manager didn't even let me finishing asking to use the restrooms before she said no dore try to the child. What a terrible experience. Usually make quick stop here on the way to Mammoth. Will never stop again. They have changed to fully automated ordering. There are no salads on the menu. Two serious problems. The employee cleaning the men's bathroom left twice but did not come back with any cleaning products. He took forever. Men had to use the women's restroom. Regardless of how dirty the bathroom was why would you leave? Next, while waiting for the restroom, there were two incorrect orders and another asked for a refund. On my way home from the Eastern Sierra Mountains, stop at McDonalds for a drink and to use the restroom room. Cashier gives me the male code for the restroom even though I am a female, then comes over to the restrooms and asks male or female gives me that code and it doesn't work. Another lady is given the male bathroom code and attempts to use it and it doesn't work. All the while they whisper the code and call out numbers at the same time. After a week long road trip, I wasnt expecting much from a McDonalds location, but the service here went above and beyond expectations. After being accidentally up charged for a drink and bringing the staffs attention to it, cindi (hopefully im not butchering the spelling) not only helped us and solved the issue, but did so in a very compassionate and professional manner. We are not from this area as we come from the Inland Empire. This was the best tasting McDonalds we have ever been to, and we have traveled the country. The food was fresh, piping hot and flavorful. The buns were fresh, the fries were done well done for him (which is what he wanted) and regular for me. Our orders were done correctly, efficiently and quickly. On some days, you just HAVE to have a Big Mac, and nothing else will do. That happened to me, last year, as I was visiting Mojave, and the craving for a Big Mac and fries hit me like a ton of bricks... The Mojave store is a "state of the art" restaurant, as it boasts all of the latest amenities of a high-tech, fast food restaurant. Remember the old location, about a mile north? It's nothing but a weed-grown lot. As in your typical McDonald's format, you choose your order from the menu board above the counter, place your order, pay for it, and your receipt will have a "number," mine was 305, and when your order is ready, your number will be called, and you pick your order at the counter. If you're ordering "to go," your order will be placed in a bag, if it's a "dine-in," it will be placed on a cheery, red-orange plastic tray. Unlike at many of McD's locations, the Mojave staff was cheerful, efficient, friendly, and they actually seemed to enjoy working, and providing a quality product for hungry diners, like myself. I realize the aforementioned statement sounds like I work for McDonald's - I don't - but I believe in giving credit where credit belongs. My order arrived in less than 5 minutes after placing it, hot, delicious and ready to eat. The Big Mac and fries were perfectly cooked, and arrived hot and juicy. Yes, a Big Mac is a Big Mac is a Big Mac... so there's no need to describe, except to say the meal was great, and it satisfied my craving! I might be crazy to give a cookie-cutter national fast food restaurant 4 stars, but the staff worked hard, they seemed to actually care about the food and the customers, the dining room was very clean and tidy, and my meal arrived quickly, and it was prepared perfectly. On Dec 24, 2022 (Christmas Eve) after a long drive my family & I wanted to get great meal & my pregnant wife wanted some fries to go along with her meal but as we received the food, my pregnant wife started to complain how the fries had weird chemical aftertaste. We went back to talk to Ana (GM) and the employees told me that she doesn't like to be disturbed during her break, she took a while to get out of her office, she was really rude from the start. I tried to talk to her simply saying what was wrong, she completely told me off and stated to go to another location because I am a "white man in America" & I am not even that race. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!! This is how the owner represents his location by throwing race in there?!!!?? As we were going back in forth, GM Ana, was counting money and started to pick her nose & served a meal at the same time. Due to the chemical taste, my pregnant wife & I are going to take legal action for her health. Ana should not be employed at all for being very racist towards my family & I. Horrible drive thru experience on 7/25/20 at 9:00 p.m. Beware!!!! They have two lines for drive thru. Two cars that came after us in the other lane, got there order taken before us. This is unacceptable. We decided we were just going to pull up to the window since we never got our order taken. After we pulled forward the gal behind us gets her order taken. My mom, my daughter and I went through this drive thru today. The line was really long and it was the type with 2 lanes to order. The speaker in our lane was not working- my mom kept saying "hello" and nobody was answering. So once we finally got up to the window, she tried to order 2 hamburgers and a drink and the girl said she could not take our order because we didn't do it at the speaker. My mom explained that the speaker wasn't working to both the girl and her manager, and both said the only way we can order is to go back through the drive thru again and order at the speaker. We just left this McDonald's, and I have to say this is the WORST McDonald's I have EVER been to in 50 years. I first went to the ladies' room where every trash was overflowing, trash all over the floor and toilets unclean. Very unsanitary! We placed my orders with an unpleasant young lady and went to have a seat. EVERY SINGLE TABLE AND CHAIR IN THE PLACE WAS UNCLEAN AS WELL AS THE FLOOR! We asked for a cloth to clean our table so we could eat. When our orders arrived, we were told they had no ketchup or ranch dressing by the lady who took our orders who replied, "we dont have any." Another young lady came from the back and said,"I didn't know why she lied we do have ranch in the back." They did have ranch and she gave it to us. Hate to write this 1 star review but i suggest proper etiquette training and customer service 101 for the staff at 6pm Jan 12, 2020 Was first in line at drive thru and the staff missed the eggs in our breakfast sandwiches and the fries in my sons happy meal. After 30 mins waiting inside, No follow up, no apology. Also they wanted to charge me to fill my own canister half way with hot water while i witnessed same cashier give Away many free items including McNugget sauce and drinks.
