Super slow service! Coffee taste watered down and my bun was hard on my burger.. yuck

I have traveled to McDonald's all over the United States and the world and I'm not lying when I say that my hometown Nanuet McDonald's is the worst I've ever been to. You can consistently expect the wait to be extremely long, and for your order to be messed up: fries cold, half of your fries missing, no spoon or straw given. The morning crew is actually pretty good. But come anytime after breakfast and you will 100% agree with me. Extreme attitude and rudeness amongst the workers. I was running errands with my son & he wanted McDonald's. I broke down & decided to dine in because I didn't want crumbs in the car. I enjoyed the modern interior but it stops there. I was perplexed by the four kiosks right by the counter where you now order your food. WTF is this? It's literally 2 feet away from the counter!! So if there was a line to order, people would be packed on top of the stool seating section. Anyways, I place my order BUT I want to pay cash. So I get my receipt & proceed to WAIT ON LINE to pay the cashier at the COUNTER!!! Very counterintuitive. I get a table number sign and was told to go sit down. We fill our drink cups and sit down. 3 minutes later the kiosk person walks over and says, "oh your foods not here yet?" I told her we just sat down. She was relived and walked away. 20 MINUTES LATER.... a worker comes by with our order. Fast food wanting to give you a restaurant feel??? That's NOT THE point of FAST FOOD!! Plus they got my kids order wrong. I had to go up to the counter, where the people behind there didn't acknowledge me standing there with my food because the were too busy filling the kiosk made orders. It took the fry person to nugde their head signaling the counter person that I was there. Whom ever thought this was BRILLIANT idea should be fired. UNBELIEVABLE. This McDonald's is absolutely terrible. A few things are this: the drive thru gets priority over walk ins. The drive thru always gets messed up with the food and makes you wait. The service is slow. You have to spend your whole day at McDonald if you want to eat, "fast food". The Order is always wrong. There is a new thing where If u text, they bring the food out to you. I could understand if the place was busy. But my friend and I were the only two there. When I asked for cream for my coffee, the girl with an attitude said she already gave me some. I asked where. Zero customer service. In fact, the staff don't even speak to you. If your lucky you'll get a hostile glance. Looking through the drive through window there's an awful lot of fooling around and laughing going on but when it comes to buisness how dare you interrupt them! The absolute worse service ever! Waited almost 40 mins in the drive-thru line, just to find out at the window they were only accepting cash. I use to hate this place due to how disorganized it was but recently I started using the app and I have to confess how easy it was to order, use a coupon, pay for everything with apple pay and just pick up my order. I have been to this Mickey D's a lot back when I use to work at the GameStop. I find they work best in the morning being way faster with the service and hot food. This location usually has consistent service. I would say the only thing that holds it at a four star for me would be the drive through line could be faster if the idiot who designed the layout wasn't high the night he drew out the plans! What made me decide not to go back to this place even for a cup of coffee was to see the five workers spoke back to my husband when he simply asked them to take our order after patiently waited for five minutes. I have been this location before and I didn't have high expectation anyway.. but the restaurants where we wanted to go were closed, so we decided to pick a quick bite at this McDonalds before going home from EWR at 22:00. We were waiting at the ordering counter to be greeted by someone, anyone...!! We saw three female workers chatting, one making some kind of drink for drive thru order. They saw us, but decided to ignore. One worker finally came out after few minutes, and told us that she would take the order. When we started telling her what we wanted she somehow decided to take the order from a couple behind us. And she took their order and LEFT. Another minute or two passed and my husband finally asked the thee workers who were still chatting why we had been ignored. He asked why no one greeted us. They just looked at us and yelled and said "we are waiting for the food to come out". No one even bothered to come to the counter and say "oh I am so sorry. I will take your order". I was just standing and watching them because I couldn't believe the world famous McDonald's is letting its franchise give this kind of rude customer service (well... I don't call it 'service', because there was none provided) to the customers. We walked out, and went to Wendy's. You know what was waiting for my husband and me... yes. One of the worst macdonalds I ever been!!! The worst location I have ever visited. The drive-thru lane is horrendous. Many of the Haitians that work there are extremely rude with limited English skills. They don't honor coupons because they don't know how to input them into the registers. If you want to waste a half-hour in a drive-thru lane and then later find out they gave you the wrong food, this is your place. It's a McDonalds, so if you don't know what to expect for taste, you should go back underneath your hole in the ground or back to North Korea. Service is okay but it gets really slow and frustrating at certain hours. I do not believe they have the sufficient amount of employees to help manage the customers. This is not a gig on the employees. I see them working when i placed my order. But what can you expect when such few employees are trying to deal with so much customers I've seen people wait 10-20 minutes for a simple order such as fries or McNuggets. You will not see more than 2 people at the cash register. Once you place your order, you are in a gaggle with other customers hoping your food comes out. Management needs to rethink how they serve the customers. Its obvious from the reactions from yelp and in the actual restaurant that something isn't working right. One of the worst McDonald's in the world! Im not exaggerating when i say I waited on line for 15 mins for none of the 4 employees behind the counter to take my order. I don't understand this place at all. They renovated the entire restaurant so more people would come inside and eat but its like they don't care about the inside service at all and give the priority to the drive thru. One Solution I would recommend would be to use the drive thru as it is 100 times faster than inside service. Then bring your food inside and eat.
