Hello, today is May 9, 2026, around 2:50 PM. I just finished having lunch at this café, and I wanted to say how thankful I am for the kindness of the staff today. When our order arrived, my son accidentally spilled his lemonade. I asked for some napkins to clean the table, but the staff were so kind and understanding. They gently helped us move to another table, cleaned everything up, and even offered to bring a new drink. Even though I told them it was completely our fault and that they didn't need to replace it, they still brought a new lemonade with such kindness and a warm attitude. It truly made me appreciate and respect them even more. read more

In the last year, our neighborhood McDonalds has * Removed all front counter staff, and required that all orders be place using the kiosks. * Removed the soda dispenser, so no custom combinations, and no refills. * Posted prices for "meal deals" that are less than the price charged, and refuse to refund the difference. * Demoted previous (competent) managers, and cut staffing by about 25%, and highly prioritized drive-through. A recent inside order took 17 minutes, and the same order placed at the same time a few days later at drive-through took 2 minutes. * The decor is now as warm and welcoming as a hospital basement steam tunnel. * Unironically given their staff t-shirts that show the 1960s McDonalds ads for 15-cent burgers, while charging $2.99 for the same, or worse, burger today. read more

This is the slowest McDonald's on the planet. Expect to be in the drive thru line for 15 minutes. No matter how many human replacement systems you install the price continues to ride and the speed gets slower . 13 bucks for a happy meal . read more

Ever since they closed the lobby at 10pm this has become the worse McDonald's in the world. They turn off the drive thru speaker and close the first 2 windows. Each car takes 5min. I asked why. They're too cheap to hire ONE more employee to man the 2nd window. It would only cost them $180 for a full shift. So many people see the line and go somewhere else or have experienced it before and will never go after 10pm. I waited almost an hour with 7 cars in front of me. And if a car comes behind you you're trapped. This place is a nightmare for gig workers. They are easily losing more money in lost sales than to hire one person. read more

The food quality here is always consistent. My kids grew up coming to this location getting happy meals. This McDonalds has always been fast and the drive thru isn't always accurate but nearly all the time since coming here for over 20 years. read more

I ordered Uber eats through the McD app. I was very specific but simple order. I didn't get my sauce for my nuggets and I'm missing the small extra fries that were supposed to be in the happy meal! Despite the location being in a good area, this is probably the worst McDonald's I've been to in a long while. The manager William just cursed at me as I was walking out in front of other customers about me wanting a refund, which is highly unprofessional for a manager to be behaving in that manner. On top of that my orders are messed up every single time I have come here. So if you go through the drive-through be prepared to have to get out and go inside to go and get your missing sauces, or your order not being right , or your missing items. Came here at 11:02am to order a burger and nuggets, we got our order after like 15 minutes later. We also gotten a Americano coffee and wanted to asked for sugar and creamer. Ever since the new owner took over, this place has gotten worse and worse. The familiar employees all seem to have left, and now it's severely understaffed. One person on a window with 15 cars in line! What should've taken about 5min was a half hour wait as I was blocked into the line and couldn't get out....i wish I could have left! And this has happened repeatedly! I need to stop coming here. Owner needs to do better and staff it with more people! read more

This location is known around our house as the fail McDonalds because they never get our order right. It may not even be in their favor. More than once I left there with extra items I didn't order. But today my ire is raised not by a mistake but a choice they've made. For some reason someone has decided it's a good idea to charge for syrup with pancakes. Not extra syrup any syrup. Do not come here. This use to be one of the best McDonalds around. It's awful now. Spent 45 minutes in the drive thru which I couldn't get out of (maybe 6 cars in front of me). I thought about driving over the plants. Then they only had one window open so you would order, pay, and sit at the same window until you got your food. This new owner should be ashamed! read more

Did not eat anything! The service at this restaurant was lousy. They do not speak to you with any respect and appear to be annoyed that you are even there, when they just want to chat with their friends and play with their cell phones. I BLAME MANAGEMENT! Oh boy , I'm not alone ... there's a lotta reviews not loving this place . Well McDonald's I'm out .. the tipping point just went in the wrong direction and in ways I'm grateful. Saving money and eating healthy. I went in and after kind of a long wait . With the manager knowing I'm there the entire time . The manager told me I need to order at the kiosk. As he stood in front of a register... so I'm out . Rising prices due to California $20 per hour for restaurant workers. And now McDonald's has eliminated the workers to take my order. Confusion setting in ! Once they are starting to put me to work AND pay a premium price... I'm out ... We need to stand up and not allow companies like this to cut services and increase prices ... New management is beyond worthless. Placed app order for breakfast at 10:20. Sat in drive thru for 15 minutes. By the time I got to the window was informed that breakfast ended 5 minutes ago. REFUSED TO REFUND MONEY. Was told that order would be canceled. It was not. Charge now shows up on my credit card. Of course, got no receipt as no food was given. Placed online pick up order. Showed up every drive and go space was taken by uber eats/grub hub drivers, except for one drive and go spot that had a Female employee in a car with a male friend, not sure if they were smoking, vaping or something else, but either way park somewhere else. After 5 minutes one of drive and go spots opened and I picked the spot number on the app, another 15 minutes went buy before I went inside to check my order leaving my 4 &9 year old in the car by themselves. The line was so long inside that I went back to the car to check my kids. Finally 20 minutes after I pulled in the parking lot the same employee who was now in the car next me finished her break with her boyfriend went inside and then came out with my order. When she handed me my order she didn't look me in the eyes or thank me just said "sorry about the wait, I guess." I'm sorry McDonalds but your food and service is no where near the level of In-n-Out or Chick-fil-a. I don't blame the teenagers who are under paid and understaff I blame management and owner. Next time my kids want a Happy meal I will drive past this McDonalds and go to Chick-fil-a, In-n-Out or at different McDonalds this location has let me and my kids down over and over. Overall this McDonald's is good. I've been here a lot of times and usually order through the App. I feel like this one gets busy often so it's hit or miss if you get any engagement from folks working the windows. It's not really a big deal, but usually we get handed food and they send us on our way. I mean it's fast food so I'm not expecting much. Overall, it's a decent McDonald's. I've never really dined inside so can't tell how it is. A nuance worth noting, this drive thru location doesn't have a speaker so you order at the first window or sometimes they have someone taking orders outside the building and by the drive thru (similar to In N Out) Some misses: *Sometimes they've forgotten items in our order *We had a weird string of times where our burgers have been over seasoned and made the burgers just too salty and it was off-putting. *I can't exactly blame them but the drive thru can get backed up for a long time sometimes even when there arent a lot of cars ahead of me *Ive been asked to park to wait on food sometimes when I have something as standard as a big Mac combo and have had to wait 10+ min on my order. I have to park it when we order a bunch of a la carte items, but sometimes there's no rhyme or reason to when I get parked and for how long. I once walked back in to see if they forgot my order and found it was just waiting at the counter waiting to be delivered for a while. *Fries are delivered undercooked (not crispy), but this is a problem at several locations in my experience. read more

VERY slow & Horrible service. Staff will make direct eye contact with you then look away and do whatever they were doing, such as have full conversations with other staff or turn around. Mc Donald's in Westlake Village and Las Virgenes is not healthy however, chicken nuggets for the kids, and ice cream flurry when you have a sweet tooth hit the spot. I did not go to Mc McDonald's for years once I heard they use every part of the cattle. You can't say they are not sustainable. You can think of Mc Donald's as a delicatessen. Worst experience at this McDonald's. Stopped here many times while traveling through and this is a notable terrible change. When you walk in you are greeted by self service kiosks, there are no front of house employees, you have to flag one from the back when you need assistance which everyone appears to with self service. I am a cash paying patron and the guy I flagged down refused to take my order and said it was not possible to order at the front even though I watched him ring up two young girls and give change to them but wouldn't take our order. There was also a elderly man in his 80s trying to use the kiosk without assistance and needed help so my husband stepped in to help him, the older gentleman mentioned to us that McDonald's was causing elder abuse by no longer having a employee to help people who didn't know how to work technology and he is absolutely correct. I will not be back to this McDonald and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I went here today with my sister to order McFlurry's and chat time after a long day. The employees were waiting on customers at the drive thru. I stood there waiting my turn. I was ignored for probably 10 minutes i started speaking loudly - I'm at the register, can someone help me? Finally, a male employee came and took my order. I asked him "Didn't any of your see me?" - He said "we are busy filling orders." - I then said, "I saw you fill orders for five (5) vehicles before you waited on me. I don't mind waiting - it just needs to be fair." RANCID Iced Tea twice of recent. I normally have no major issues with this location outside of the norm for a fast food restaurant but the last two times I've ordered iced tea from this location the "fresh brewed" iced tea is ABSOLUTELY disgusting. Anyone who routinely drinks unsweetened iced tea knows what it tastes like when it starts to go bad. This tea has either been left out unrefrigerated for several days or the receptacle is not being cleaned routinely. The result is tea that has started to ferment and taste AWFUL. Attempted to call three times today around 7pm after receiving my order but no one picks up the phone. Last time I ordered about a week ago I ordered a sweet tea which utilizes the same "fresh" brewed iced tea and it was equally rancid. So for a second time I'll be throwing my drink in the trash.
