    Zucchini with ranch
    Patrice I.

Based on today's visit. Truthfully, I've not always had the best experience here. But today was great. Friendly employees (usually always though) Zucchini (with ranch, it is the best ranch anywhere) is the go to, must have here. TODAY WAS EXCELLENT. BEST ZUCCHINI I'VE EVER HAD HERE! I bought a side salad (with blue cheese) to go, but it looks yummy. Ingredients are always fresh here. That's a given. Sometimes they struggle on flavor...but today was a good day. It's always clean inside and well maintained. Plenty of seating.

Since the garage sale Saturday was slow I decided we should try a new breakfast spot. When we arrived we were surprised because we expected a restaurant but saw that it had a drive thru. We were a little bummed but still went in as we drove a bit to get here. The place was very clean and tidy. I would say it had like a Cracker Barrel Express type look to it. I ordered the hog heaven (bacon, sausage and ham) breakfast burrito and my girlfriend had the French toast. All was pretty decent. Price was a little high but I think I just need to understand that this is the way now. I will return here to give the burgers a shot. If those are good I can see myself going here more often.

If you see this employee she is one of the rudest employees to a customer I have encountered.

I don't ever write bad yelp reviews but this was unacceptable My pastrami sandwich had a plastic bag tie inside it one of the managers told me next time they will take care of it and gave me a card I went in after getting my car washed and the card was lost explained to the extremely rude representative that I did not have the card but should honor that I almost choked on a piece of plastic that was in my sandwich and she said no and I asked her her name and told me don't worry about it.

I'm so confused by the negative reviews-maybe I'm just lucky? I LOVE their food! To me, it's the highest quality food you can get at a drive thru. One of the rare places where their food fills you up, and looks as good as the pictures. You leave full without feeling gross. For dine in, I really like that they bring your food to you instead of you grabbing it (I always have anxiety about someone else accidentally taking my food). This location is always sparkling clean. No sticky tables. No crumbs on the seats. No ice spilled on the floor by the fountain drinks. No dirty bathrooms. Staff here is friendly, fast, and efficient. I usually get the avocado burger but this time I got the farmers burger and it was great. Their zucchini sticks are HUGE. I like that the breading on them is thin. They fry it just enough to cook the breading, leaving the inside fresh instead of soaked in oil. Their ranch is bomb too. The first time I had farmer boys was in nor cal, so I'm stoked that we have one here now!! Btw - if you dine in, the napkins are on your food tray

This location is off the beaten path, but not hard to find. Having not been to one before, I would describe it as fast casual with counter service and a spacious dining area. At lunchtime, it was mostly full. I ordered the grilled chicken club sandwich and Cobb salad. The sandwich was nicely grilled, but the ingredients were unevenly distributed and I had to reorganize my sandwich before eating. The chicken was very tender. The Cobb salad had a pleasant presentation and each ingredient was fresh. Their ranch dressing is fantastic! The salad was big enough for two to share.

I hadn't heard of this place before, but if you're looking for something quick and a bit healthier, this is the spot! We ordered a Cobb salad that had all the yummy toppings. The lettuce is not very high quality, but overall it was still a good salad. The grilled chicken sandwich with bacon was yummy. It had too much mayo for our liking. I appreciated the options of grilled chicken and salads at a fast food spot. The ambiance was nothing special and was like a normal fast food dining area. It had a drive thru which is always convenient. The service was average, but they were still helpful and quick with our things. I would come back here again!

I spent almost $40 here for a crispy chicken sandwich, a breakfast burrito, and one coffee. The chicken sandwich was a joke. It looked terrible and tasted just as bad as it looked -- dry, burnt, and completely plain. The burrito was supposed to have pico, but there was none -- just eggs and hash browns with zero flavor. For what they charge, this is embarrassing. This felt like gas station food at restaurant prices. Save your money and go literally anywhere else.

I grew up with Farmer Boys in Los Angeles so I didn't grow to appreciate it until I moved to the 805 and they hadn't made their way here yet. I know a lot of people were excited when this location opened and I was eager to retry Farmer Boys to see if it brought back childhood memories. This location is new and looks new! The restaurant is clean and the drive thru is easy to navigate. It's a nice looking fast food chain and the signage made it easy to find. The menu is pretty big with a lot of options to choose from. I typically come through the drive thru and have found the staff to be nice and efficient. No issues. The food is pretty good for fast food. Definitely a 4/5 for higher quality taste and big portions. It is a little costly here for a fast food chain, but again your paying for a better meal and big serving sizes. I think the cost though is what keeps me from coming back regularly because if I'm going to be bad and have fast food, I don't want to overdo it by spending as much as a casual sit down restaurant would cost. I've liked everything I've tried here. The burgers have a good flame grilled taste and the sandwiches are impressive. Also pro tip - the chicken strips are really good too! I'm a sucker for their sauces, bomb ranch and thousand island here. If you're a saucy gal/guy you'll be happy with the condiments for your sides here. The sides are a little "too big" for me, colossal onion rings and jumbo fried zucchini, not a huge fan but many I know like them. I'll stick with a burger or chicken and call it a day. If your going to treat yo self and have fast food, Farmer Boys isn't a bad way to go.

To many haters on this place. We stop by when we are in the area. They never do me wrong. I do just order simple double cheese burgers. Can't vouch for it all.

Table signage from 02/12/2023. Seems like a good deal.

If you're a chili fan, this place is a MUST-visit -- they have FOUR different house-made chili options that increase in spice level, and each one is fantastic. I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

Nothing unreasonable, though, and the food is definitely worth it. We'll absolutely be back.
