Although, this is your typical road trip McDonald's, long line, screaming babies, and crowded. Very disappointed! Drove through drive thru because my grandkids were excited to get shamrock shakes since today is Saint Patrick's Day only to be told that they don't sell them anymore...wtf?!?! We place an order for some food anyway, once I get to window I pull out a $100 bill only to be told that they don't take $100 bills!!! NO WHERE does it state that they do not accept them!!!!! I always thought McDonald's had a policy of not allowing their french fries to be served when they are stale and manky, but this one serves them that way. I've only gotten good, crisp fries a hand full of times out of the dozens I've been here, but it's the only drive through for burgers in town, so this is it when you're in a hurry. Also, don't bother asking to have leaf lettuce added to your burger if it doesn't come with it, because you'll pay 50 cents for one very tiny leaf. read more

Out of 10 trips to this location, we have never NOT had a problem. We are a family of 5 so we usually spend close to $20, give or take, but our orders always have issues. Missing items, incorrect items, "I'm sorry we can't serve icecream right now", saltless limp fries(sinful lol), wrong dipping sauce or none at all...the list goes on. They have been remodeling so you couldn't even go in to get your items, you had to go through the drive thru all over again. Its open inside now and its too tiny for the lines that crowd around the new machines that can take orders. People can also order ahead from their app so its total chaos inside. I don't recommend stopping here for a quick bite because it never is quick. Give the small businesses your money because they will try to earn it! read more

The fish sandwich had a generous helping of tartar sauce, which is why I prefer this fast food chain for a fish sandwich. Unsweetened ice tea I ordered was good, it didn't taste like the "instant" kind. I ordered indoors. The ordering process was pretty straightforward, no "tricky trap" questions to get you to spend more money. We were in line on a Saturday night at the drive thru prior to closing time. We sat patiently waiting for our turn in line. When we got to the sign they turned it off and ignored the rest of us that had been waiting prior to close. When we went to the window to ask why the employees just ignored us. The shift manager should have said something to all of us that had been waiting and not just shut the lights and order screen then ignored us. That is bad business especially on a weekend. read more

0 stars if I could...I went to the drive thru this morning to order my replacement order from yesterday that they messed up. I paid for cheese to be added to my sausage/egg biscuit yesterday on the app (when I opened the order at home yesterday, a sausage McMuffin-no egg was in the bag). The cashier charged me for cheese on my replacement order today...when I told her I paid for it yesterday when I ordered on the app, she said there was no way to remove the charge (I don't believe this for 1 second...ANYTHING can be removed!!). I reluctantly paid the $0.60 for the cheese and left. I am a year round resident of Ocean Shores and we have ordered 4-5 times/week. Over $0.60, we will not be back. When we asked if we could get a coffee with milk like we ordered the woman said no. Then the manager came over and told us we would have to buy a milk to add to our coffee. I paid for the Snacks for my Darling Husband and myself during Our Vacation to Ocean Shores, Washington state this Trip. I'm not sure How long we walked on the Beach. My husband found Two Whole Sand Dollars, and some Great Looking Rocks, mostly Agates, ( I also found some great looking Rocks to take Home with Us this Beach Trip ) as well as a Half a Clam Shell during this Walk. Luckily, there weren't any Loose Dogs wandering around where we walked. Lots of Seagulls, though. I drank a Coffee with Three Splenda, and Three Milk Creamers.... it was Deeelicous!!! I ate the 10 Piece Chicken McNuggets, it's One of my Favorites,... with Tangy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauces. It comes with Two Sauces. My husband ate Two Cheeseburgers. The Music Selection was GREAT!!! They even Played that song titled, ... " No One " by Alicia Keys this Afternoon. Oh, yes... I was Glad to see another Black Person at this McDonald's. He was working there, but on a Break. I noted his presence to my husband as well. I often feel, when I am Vacationing on the Washington state and Oregon Coasts .... like I'm the ONLY Black Person there. I give three stars just because it's McDonalds. I grew up eating here and am surprised that I don't have coronary issues because this was dinner and lunch several days of the week I my late twenties so I know a thing or two from my history with their food and service. I can get a medium size meal now and it won't even fill me up. Plus I feel gross after eating it, like my insides are full of grease. I don't get that with a few of the competitors. I will say though that my visit here was above par from my experiences from my local franchises. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. It was Saturday at 730 when I came in so it was fairly slow. It took about 5 minutes to get my order which was fine. As for quality, it was above par for what I'm used to getting from the Monroe & Sultan locations. BTW, I may eat from McDonalds less than 5 times per year anymore. This was our last night in Ocean Shores, we were excited to get hot fudge sundaes at McDonald's then go and watch the sunset on the beach. After a 32 MINUTE wait in line, we where told at the microphone that they were out of all ice cream items. WHY didn't the staff either put up a sign in the window where the line had wrapped around the building, visible to all in line, that they were out of ice cream????? Or, why didn't they have someone from the staff run out and let people waiting in line know that. Needless to say, we missed the sunset entirely, when we should have been in and out of that drive thru in under 5 minutes, which was not the case, Then we were trapped ANOTHER 6 minutes because we couldn't pull out anywhere to leave the line. We will NEVER go to this McDonald's again, unless some changes are put in place, and we will NEVER recommend this place unless they figure out customer service. read more

Nice staff, but management (the owner) needs to realize hiking the price for certain food during the tourist season is unfair to the locals and just not right. The McDouble goes up to a 1.39...
