I went through the drive-through order late at night and honest to God. I had the best experience I've ever had in any place I've been to. Better than a five star steakhouse restaurant. the service? immaculate. the ice cream machine... Working. Customer service? Exceptional. Despite it being 11 o'clock at night, the workers put their all in. The person working the drive-through was so professional told me to have a good day when it was 11 o'clock at night who gets that type of service! Already got me feeling good for the next day. My order was complicated and he did not fold under pressure. When we pulled to the second window to get our ice cream, the man who served it to us gave us his all again despite being 11 o'clock at night. He politely told us that the cookies were gonna take a bit longer so we had to pull to the side and wait. To our surprise as soon as we pulled our car in the parking lot he was already there with our cookies and ice cream in hand that type of service is what you get at a sonic not a McDonald's really 10 out of 10 guys out did yourself once again will come back. read more

I ordered 4 five dollar meals and I wasn't given two of the McDonald's doubles. And when I went to go into the store to tell them the doors were locked so I walked around to the window and told them I was missing two McDoubles. They seemed very annoyed and when I received my McDoubles they came with Mac sauce on them. I asked for two McDoubles with everything but mustard. Last time I checked Mac sauce only comes on Big Macs. This McDonalds needs to get there workers in check. They aren't doing there job. read more

Ordered 1 big breakfast (3 pancakes, eggs, sausage, a hash brown and a biscuit), 2 sides of eggs, hash browns and an additional thing of hotcakes. The big breakfast only came with 1 pancake, sausage and a biscuit, missing 2 pancakes, eggs and a hash brown. I wouldn't really have a big problem with this but the fact that i cost me $7 just for that. Next it took us at least 4 different tries to actually get our order correct because the person at the window/taking orders could barely understand what we were saying and kept getting our order wrong. I was patient and polite and went slow so that they could get it correct but the fact that even had to happen in the first place was a waste of 12 minutes. If you're going to have someone taking orders please at least have them understand what the people are wanting to order to avoid confusion and mis-orders! Even after explaining what we wanted to order, thinking that we had it all correct and worked out, we were still missing items! We asked for the stuff that we were missing and we're told that we had it in the bag already when we clearly did not. It's just unnecessary complications that can easily be avoided. read more

I have been going to this location since before it was remodeled. The remodel is a big improvement. I am a long distance hiker, and showed up at this location with dirty hikers, and have had some less than pleasant interactions with employees who viewed us not as long distance hikers, but as homeless. Anyway, no problems with any food items or drinks. Staff are generally friendly, and I think the rude interactions I had were with staff no longer there. I never had a big problem, they just treated me and another hiker like we were homeless. I have not dined inside the restaurant in a while, but all take out has been ok. read more

Do Not Use the Kiosk takes twice as long. What I belived to be the manager was barking out orders at the employees and they did know where the food going to tables were suppose to go. This McDonald's is pretty good. Don't really have complaints on the food itself it's usually always warm and fresh. HOWEVER! It's always disappointing how the ice cream/milkshake machine is broken!! I know it takes time to clean, I've worked in fast food before BUT it's getting out of hand that I go there on the rare occasions I am there the ice cream machine is "broken." The Sausage McMuffins are supposed to be available at all times, especially when I come through at midnight. The first time I asked for them, they said they can't because they had to clean the equipment which makes no sense. The second time I asked a different night it was that they didn't serve breakfast until 7am. The third night I went through, it was they didn't have breakfast until 4am. The employee was actually pretty rude about it that time. I said ok thanks and drove away and of course he didn't say sorry about that or anything because the employee Steve must hate his job. I have been enjoying the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich for years from the McDonalds all over the county. This evening was a first. There was good flavor, but the piece of chicken was as thin as a regular sized hamburger. The meat was stringy and dry. Most of it ended up in the trash. Such a disappointment. Next trip will be to Burger King. Also, there were two young men, not at the food window but near it. They had masks, but a mask on your neck or on your chin does not protect anyone. These people are near the food,filling sodas, emptying the coffee pot. Covid 19 virus is still new. We don't know everything about it and these people are near the food and one with his hands on his face. When we go to a restaurant of any level we expect people near the food area are following the rules. Please fix this, and fix your chicken sandwiches. read more

This particular location has a very rude staff and a manager who backs them up. Don't go there around dinner time even if it's not busy. If you are looking for friendly courteous staff, you won't find it here. What you will find is a dreary desolate looking dining area. And don't ever ever tell them they got your order wrong, because they won't correct it and they won't give you back the extra money you gave them for the wrong order. This McDonald's is usually very good. Food is OK it's McDonald's food and the service is usually above average of other McDonald's I've been too. But this particular trip was disgusting. I ordered two cheeseburgers and a 10 piece McNugget and when I open up the cheeseburgers it was mustard smeared all over the outside of the bottoms with a ton of onions and McNuggets or burnt to a crisp. Worst McDonalds in Pittsfield worth going across town to the one on west Route 20 near Hancock, MA. The one in Allendale couldn't get my order right from the start asked for a Number 2 value meal and only got sandwich. Asked for a Filet O Fish meal with tarter on the side and got a lite tarter. Manager got called in was treated like a idiot got to tell person ordering to be specific that I am ordering a meal when I ordered a number 2 not just a sandwich. Unknown to Manager I'm a chef with 35 years experience in food service since 1986. Once again, a terrible drive thru experience. Their drive thru is one of the worst in the chain in terms of order accuracy. The experience began with an emotionless person taking my breakfast order; no "hello", "good morning", or other pleasant greeting. I should have known that something was wrong when it took too long to advance to the first window to pay for my order; that was only the beginning. The person taking my money was pleasant and asked if I had ordered . . . , to which I answered "yes." She then took my money and gave me a receipt which looked correct to me. When I arrived at the order pick-up window, the person started to hand me a large orange juice which I hadn't ordered. I then told her what I had ordered and handed her my receipt. She apologized and said they couldn't find the order in their system. Inside the crowded order pick-up area, there must have been three or four people standing around looking at screens and pointing at things. She again apologized and asked if I would drive over and wait for my order. I told her that I would, but that the "timer was running." This isn't uncommon for this particular location to have to wait out of line for your order; breakfast often sneaks up on them! After waiting about ten minutes with nothing being delivered, I locked my vehicle and ventured inside the restaurant. I asked the cashier to speak to the manage on duty and she found her for me. I told her that I was waiting for my drive thru order and had been waiting for over ten minutes. She searched around and found part of my order and then began locating the missing items. When she delivered my order, I of course had to check to make sure that all of the items that I ordered were in the bags. This particular location often leaving items you've ordered out of the bag and puts things like maple syrup into the bag when you didn't order pancakes. I asked the manager why it too so long for my order and she said they were waiting for hash brown potatoes, which wasn't correct because they were all lined up at the fry station. She just forgot the order and was covering for their incompetence. This wasn't an isolated incident with this particular location. I've been ordering essentially the same breakfast for several years and I've had to start looking in all the bags before driving away to make sure that they've gotten my order correct. Breakfast seems to be particularly difficult for them because I visit the same location for other meals and they're usually much better. I think that if you order a coffee, they can probably get it correct, but anything more complicated is a struggle. The McDonald's chain runs television ads in the Albany, NY area with happy friendly employees delivering breakfast orders to ski area employees and manufacturing workers, but they can't even get drive thru orders right when you come to them! read more

I decide to have breakfast after my doctor's appointment. By the time I paid and got my breakfast, it was luke warm. I had to wait for the person to pay as she was talking to someone else and for my breakfast the person was not in the window and my breakfast was just sitting there.
