    Lost appetite.

I've been coming to this location for many years, under the impression that because it is one of the most updated and newest location, quality of food would be great... Wrong. It was almost 4pm, slow time, not too crowded. You would think the grill would be clean enough to at least have a good quality of food. Not the case. I m disappointed. To the point that i even lost my appetite and whats worst. The wanting to come back here.

The customer service here is fantastic. The restaurant is clean. I love using their kiosk to order food to get points on the app. They close their diner area early every day at 6 pm. You have to ask them to unlock the restroom door to use it. Some of the tables are still dirty.

This McDonald definitely deserve 4 stars! Super super clean inside & out. Employees are really friendly too.

Just needing a small meal to get me through to the next meal, lol. Employee was friendly and helpful in helping get a small value meal that included a cheeseburger. He did his magic and $7.00 later I happy with my purchase. Would this count as a HAPPY MEAL lol.

Not all McD's are the same. I was happy that they had curbsite which is super convenient. However, my order did not come out for 15 mts. When I went in, I saw my order sitting on the counter. The lady at the counter was talking to someone in the back and when I tell her I am waiting for my order, she pushes it towards me and then turns back to her conversation. She basically said no words... I have no words.

This was the first McDonald's I've been to that has 2 drive-thru lines, which I think is quite efficient.

This is their current location, but I don't think it's their permanent place of business. Just for the time being. Google maps will take you to a parking lot entrance that's closed, blocked by a chain, so make sure you enter the parking lot on Locust Street. I ordered online, and the wait time was a bit long (20+ minutes) but not terrible. And once you arrive, there's a sign near the parking lot directing you to walk down an alley-like path. No signs at the door, just a dumpster outside. Yup, that's where you pick up. It feels like you're walking through the back door of a restaurant kitchen. Actually when you step inside, it indeed IS the kitchen which doubles as a pickup spot (no seats, no signs, I just showed the guy my order on my phone and he handed me my food packed neatly in a paper bag). I got the perro loco which comes with fries on the side, and an arepa with cheese. I didn't like that customers can't customize items when ordering online for pick up. Also wasn't a fan of the pineapple sauce, though I think that's one of the things they're known for. But the hot dog was still good, generous with the toppings and certainly unique. The sausage was plump and juicy with a mild flavor. The fries were delicious as well, and didn't taste cheap. And the mini arepa with cheese was buttery and had a nice texture. Altogether it made for a filling meal.

The menu is extensive with a mix of options (including a vegetarian burger). I ordered El Apto which came with a beef patty, bacon, shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato...all between a brioche bun. This came with fries and a side of pineapple sauce and apto sauce. I dipped my fries in the apto sauce and it was so good! The pineapple sauce goes well in the burger and also on the fries. The beef patty was perfectly seasoned and so juicy. All the flavors were amazing and tasted so fresh. I loved the crispy bacon and the shredded chicken. The chicken was well flavored and they put an ample amount on top of the burger. Wow! What a great combo. I also tried the maracuya (passion fruit) drink and it was so good! I like that it wasn't too sweet. It's fresh and refreshing. They are pretty busy because it's their opening so there might be a wait but it's totally worth it. There are tables around for you to sit so it's casual. The owner is so nice and you can tell he is very proud of his food. Highly recommend!!

They are seemingly ordinary looking, in the heart of Downtown San Jose, but you are kindly greeted by staff at the front counter when you enter. They are patient and explain the menu items to you. And when your order comes, they have this knowingness, as though they let you in on a secret, "There you go. Do you want the spicy orange sauce?" Yas! The friendly personalities of the staff seem to be a standout. Go here to satisfy your wagyu smash burger hankerings. They are so flavorful and juicy, and well worth the visit! At grand opening, my husband and I were able to spark up a conversation with the owner. He had such a welcoming, amiable quality naming the other fellow smash burger joints in the area that he himself would recommend trying. It was then that we learned about his use of New School American Cheese, which they use for the burgers. This American cheese aspires to use premium quality ingredients that allow for a sexy melt that oozes on the smash burgers in an unprocessed sort of way. I find this to be a critical decision, and is one of the reasons why I continue to go here! But my review today really has to be for the Jumbo Ripper which I ordered with the tater tots. The hot dog is deep fried in beef tallow, creating a juicy snap to the hot dog. The tater tots had that excellent crunch factor. Dress both of them up either in ketchup or their Spicy "6" Sauce -- or both! Yeah! Just go here and try it! :D

From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and making a reservation about a month in advance definitely paid off since the restaurant was packed. For starters, we ordered the fried chicken & cornbread and the summer peach salad. The chicken and cornbread were easily a 10/10 super crispy, well seasoned, and the cornbread was rich and buttery. The peach salad with friend goat cheese (YUM!) was really fresh and bright, a nice lighter dish to balance out everything else. I also had a glass of rose. For mains, we had the Prime Ribeye and the 7oz Harris Ranch Prime Filet, both cooked exactly how we asked and full of flavor. We shared a bottle of Duckhorn cab, and I appreciated that their wine list felt reasonably priced for the quality. We corked what we didn't finished and took it home. The only slight downside was our table being in a bit of a funky spot along a walkway, but service was attentive enough that it never really became a problem. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, and next time I'm saving room for dessert.
