I came here recently after their remodel and the place looks great. That being said, it has a "self serve" ordering board which I absolutely hate. I am paying my money to talk to real people to take my order. I don't want to do all the work. When I walked in there were several people behind the counter so perhaps they could do it the "old fashioned way" too? Again I try this location being it's so close to my house and again another regret. I go through the drive through and the workers are super nice. The line moved fast. I ordered 2 number 9's which is the steak and egg bagels. I made the mistake of not checking the food till I got home. What I got was 2 egg McMuffins and hash browns. The first thing I walked in it was clean as hell. It looked very modern and the play place was open! But the older guy said no shoes allowed so it's understandable and he was really nice! We tried to walk in at 8 pm . The place closes at 9. The doors were closed. When we finally found someone who was coming out, there were two other individuals who also went in. An elderly man who was wearing a McDonald's shirt stopped us only and told us that we can't come in because no one allowed in the lobby. Clearly he let two other people in and not us. There was definitely something odd and unprofessional treatment of my family compared to others who also came in at the same time. A wonderful, very modern, McDonalds. Same food, different location and an ultra modern setting. Great job by the McDonalds team keeping their restaurants fresh, bright, very clean, and a fun place to be. I thought the new electronic ordering system (Kiosk) was a nice addition. Even while ordering, a team member asked me if I needed any assistance and walked me through the process. Like most locations, they had a big parking lot with an easy entrance in and out to the Main Street. All the food was fresh, hot and tasty. Disgusting.....is all I can say,I walked into this McDonald's today to order me and my boyfriend breakfast, as I walked in, I noticed a woman behind the counter very sick with a cold and cough. She proceeded to blow her nose in a tissue right in front of me. She then throws the tissue in the garbage and proceeds to walk over to the register, not even washing her hands and tries to take my order. I turned to her and said ma'am, that is disgusting. Go wash your hands before you take my order she then mumbled something under her breath and I'm not sure what she said, but it looked like she said something that made her angry because I told her to wash her hands. I then see her come out from the bathroom, which seemed like she was rubbing sanitizer on her hands, she then proceeds to take my order and as she is taking my order, she is coughing in her sleeve and sniffling and I just got so disgusted that I stepped back as she was taking my order. I'm glad the other lady came over because I did not want to take my change from this sick woman behind the counter. I then proceeded to wait for my order and I guess the woman behind the counter that had given me the change saw that I was very angry that the woman was sneezing and coughing all over the place, and she quickly put stuff in a bag and handed me my drinks and my food before the other lady can bag it up for me. If you are sick stay home I know people need money these days, but I do not want to get sick because of you being sick on the other hand the food is ok and they finally got my frappe the way I wanted it and anytime I come to this McDonald's it's always messy and no one ever looks over to the counter to see if anyone needs help it's kinda of annoying that you have to yell to someone to get there attention oh and on top of it the lady tried to charge me 26.00 for a meal with a frappe and an extra frappe when she told me this, I said how is it $26 for a meal and an extra frappe she said oh you wanted two meals and two extra frappe I said no I want a number eight a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel with hashbrowns and a frappe and then I want an extra caramel frappe so she got the other lady to come over to fix it and then the lady turned her and said well if you knew how to delete stuff why would you press that other button this lady needs to be retrained or fired? My only complaint was that it is difficult to get back on the highway (interstate) from this location. Everything else was great. Newly refreshed design; feels modern and upscale(!). Huge indoor kids play area. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Clean. Food was standard McDonalds fare. read more

Oh my is all I can say! So I walk in and start ordering my breakfast today and I hear some screaming coming from behind the counter. I look over and a manager is screaming at an employee (numerous f bombs) and then it happened. The manager took off her headset and chucked it over the counter and nearly hit me and it landed in the dining room. Then the employee responded with a few of her own f bombs! So they both run in the back with a bunch of other employees while I stand there waiting for my food that nobody cares to take care of! The only smart person was the woman preparing the food who said numerous times let's knock it off and Yale care of the customers. So after about 10 minutes I finally yelled to them to see if someone could get my food that was sitting there. They gave it to me no apologies are anything. The cost was outrageous! For 2 hash browns to cost about $5 and then come out soggy and cold.....that's not acceptable. Then pay $10 for 2 sandwiches and have one not even in its wrapper and a napkin stuck in the cheese, definitely not acceptable. You're paying employees $15 per hour to make horrendous meals and to just throw them in bag. Some huge changes need to be made. Travel into the city of Saratoga and visit that McDonald's, at least they serve you edible food. read more

It's your basic McDonalds, which is pretty good, if you can actually get inside. Whoever designed this place should have gotten an "F" in planning. Between all the one-way lanes, left-turn-only and right-turn only exits, the crazy intersection behind leading to/from Denny's and Hannaford, the building's exit-only doors, and entrances not in obvious places... let's just say I've seen corn mazes easier to navigate. The children's play area is huge, and there's some interesting decor inside as well as a variety of seating. It does need larger rest rooms. As for this particular visit, the cashier I got was either very new or not familiar with the food. I asked for the tomatoes to be held on one of the chicken sandwiches, and she said it didn't come with them - at which point I pointed her to the picture behind her which distinctly showed them. She said "oh," and I did get tomatoes held as requested on that sandwich. The unsweetened iced tea also had an off taste and must have been a bad brew. On the plus side, my Monopoly ticket awarded me a free breakfast sandwich, so all is forgiven... this time. read more

Drive through is adequate for a quick order to go, but as a previous poster mentioned, getting in and out can be confusing. There is no left turn allowed on to 50, so it is not possible to get back to the Northway without some convoluted driving. Inside is a different story: it is a mess. The tables and floor are almost always messy and covered with food or paper wrappers. There usually is only one counter person handling the inside customers, leading to long waits. In comparison to other fast food restaurants, the experience is chaotic. The owner must really be trying to keep costs down. So use the drive through if you must, but don't go inside. read more

My daughter ordered 2 breakfast meals. The sandwiches came out and the young lady promised to bring out our hash browns as soon as they were up. As we ate, I realized we weren't getting our potatoes since she became engaged in conversation with a young man who was clearly there to entertain her. The latest thing McDonald's is doing. Self serve cups. Now I don't think they care how many cups they give away. I watched people going back and forth to their table not knowing who paid. Here is my HUGE PROBLEM WITH THIS. Employees are supposed to wash their hands serving. Whether they do or not is not known. But the public doesn't. I watched an approximately 8 year old girl decide which cup she wanted. She picked a medium, walked around with it on her hand, put it back and decided on a large. If you haven't been to this new and highly improved McDonalds, You definitely have to go. The McDonalds that was located in this same spot previously, was completely torn down and a new McDonalds was built in its place. I have gone here a couple times since it was built and besides the fact that it looks extremely nice/sleek (I love the new look.) The staff here is so incredibly nice, helpful and organized. It is honestly such a nice experience to finally go to a fast food restaurant and literally, everyone on the staff is super nice. The food has always been fresh as well and they have never gotten our order wrong. I just wish that it was open 24hours. read more

It's true that you don't expect much from a fast food establishment--they either get your food right or they don't, they're clean or they're horribly maintained, they have the snottiest employees or they do their job and are unremarkable. With that in mind, I felt I needed to share a story from our trip through the drive-thru a month ago: there we were, sitting in an excruciatingly slow-moving line where it seemed the lead car, already pulled-up to the second window, had been sitting there as if they're waiting for the entire right-side of the menu they no doubt ordered. We're 4 cars back, we hadn't even reached the first window yet to pay for my weird imitation fast food milkshake-disguised-as-a-frappe. The crew that apparently ordered everything (and probably some diet cokes to wash them down) finally moves, and the car behind them seems to have the same appetite issue getting bag after bag when we reached the payment window. We hand the kid payment, and he hands me back, not only the receipt, but THE DRINK AS WELL! Stunned, we sat there for a moment, wondering if that really had happened and if we really could just leave, which we did just that. Looking back, either this young man has upper-management consideration in his future, or else he'll get fired at some point in the near-future for engaging common sense and not following staunch fast food protocol. This is the best McDonald's in town. The fries are always tasty and the service is pretty fast. All the employees are so nice and go out of their way to make your lunch, even if it a quick one, enjoyable! They also offer military discount which no other McDonald's around does. Hadn't been to a McDonald's in a while, and I was in a rush. Big mistake. I ordered a two cheeseburger meal, with the caveat that I wanted hamburgers instead. Simple enough, right. Nope. Now I'm not very big on fast food restaurants.. due to the obvious reasons, but it taste good right? Something that has been gaining popularity is health, and eating healthier and making better decisions as to what you're putting into your mouth. McDonald's taking this into consideration starts to advertise healthier menu choices. For example, the Egg McMuffin made with egg whites is advertised as "healthy," making their food more appealing and less scary to the public that fears weight gain and being unhealthy. Smart move by McDonald's, this will make overweight people think twice before trying to sue McDonald's for making them fat! Well I'm sorry but I never heard anyone in the world say I lost 20 pounds and got a six pack from eating at McDonald's... Considering that some of McDonald's salads have around the same amount of calories as one of their burgers. So back to the Egg McMuffin made with egg whites, there is only a 50 to 60 calorie difference when taking the egg yolk away. If I had to pick between the egg white and the normal one, I would have to pick the one with the egg yolk because the healthiest part of the egg is the yolk. But if you don't care about calories or being healthy then McDonald's is just the place for you. For the most part their food taste pretty good, but then again if I deep-fried my underwear in fat and cover it with salt and served it with special sauce it would taste pretty good to. Their burgers taste alright, milkshakes are satisfying but their fries suck. I have to look at each french fry before putting it into my mouth just to make sure I'm not eating cardboard. Most of the people that go there gross me out, in my opinion just about everything is unclean and the blood in the bathroom sink was very displeasing. I also did not like their Shamrock shake, I'm not big on watching TV and I heard about the Shamrock Shake in class..... and I'm not a very big fan. It tasted like milk and sugar and a little bit of mint flavoring with some green food coloring just to make it look pretty. It's funny because a lot of people say that they liked it I don't really understand, maybe they didn't put enough chemicals in mine... maybe next time I'll ask for extra.
