Restaurant smells like a bathroom. This place has cool gaming tablets at a few tables for kids and a tv as well so it's a shame the atmosphere is brought down so much by the neglect of this place and unpleasant staff. I felt like I was being a bother while giving my order to staff because of the annoyed attitude I received. All of the self serve kiosk are out of order so customers have no choice but to order up front, so there should be no reason for rudeness. The manager with curly hair was very sweet and forgiving for the missing fries in my child's kids meal. My burger was also stale and not very appetizing. I hope they can bring this place up to better standards, otherwise we won't be back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service. I waited at the drive through order box for 5-6 minutes with no answers to my inquiries. I then decided to proceed to the window to order (as per instructions for hearing impaired costumers). Upon arrival, I was told by a female employee that I could not order at the window because her coworker was taking orders on his head set. They had taken peoples orders in front of us and behind us. The way the employees acted was unacceptable as I was very polite and understanding. Just don't come here. It's not worth the subpar food anyway. read more

I never ever go to McDonald's and was in a hurry. I went through the drive through and for a small fry and a cheeseburger (sad cheeseburger that looked like it belonged in a "homeless shelter give a way"!!! Long of the short, I was charged $16 plus dollars for two items that were less than acceptable going through a drive through. While the gentlemen working the pay/ order window was very nice. I went through the drive through and ordered two chicken nugget happy meals. Only to get home and find that both my meals didn't have any chicken nuggets. Absolutely ridiculous to miss the main item in the happy meal, so now I am home and kids are still hungry. Do you think my kids understand why they didn't get chicken nuggets?! Yikes. Now let me start by saying I've been one to give 5 stars to a Carl's Jr. so this knock isn't because it's a fast food joint. It's because I had the strangest experience here. From the outside, this location is really nice. It's right off the freeway in Temecula and easy to get to. When I came in, I knew some things were up. A lady was waiting cause she said she hadn't got her food and it'd been a while. One of the employees was talking pretty loud to give out instructions about orders they were concerned about filling quick enough. Our order took a little longer than usual but the food was fine! No issue with quality like others have mentioned. When we sat down, more people were ordering and the line started to get long. They were struggling to get receipts printed and people started complaining and it just got a little nuts. It just seemed really chaotic. To top that off, I tried to use the bathroom but turned away pretty quick. One of the stalls looked like someone had peed all over the floor and they covered it up with toilet seat covers. In the other, a woman was in there for the entire time we were at the restaurant. She'd left her bags outside and came out, went into the men's room, then left. I think she was in there for a while and not because of a stomach ache. Seemed a little sketchy and strange. The bathroom said you needed a token to get in but the doors just opened so maybe they need to go back to that system. read more

It's 3:15 am. We sit at the order box for almost 10 minute and after speaking to a non responding box we decide to move forward. We are literally sitting at the window making eye contact with who is working the drive through and they refuse to acknowledge us. He intentionally walked away and refused to come near the window. This place has alway been trash but this solidified me never coming here again. read more

We were traveling and pulled up to drive thru at 3:45am. The person told us that the system was down and needed to be reset or something. We knew that person was lying and went on our way to the next nearest McDonald's. Of course their system was working and provided exceptional service. I'm not one to write reviews about fast food joints but this is crazy. Ate about half of my quarter pounder before looking and seeing that is was very pink in the middle. Tried calling the location but no answer. Left a complaint via the McDonald's website. I was contacted the next day by a fast talking woman about my experience. I visited the place twice as I was in town working. Both times the experience was different. The first one was when I arrived after checking in to my hotel down the road. The place was pretty packed, but also spacious, I was trying to order thru one of the kiosk but none of them were working, but the employee at the counter were very resourceful to help me with my order, I still enjoyed their breakfast menu and others eventhough they didn't offer any salad on the menu, but my first time here went very smooth. The second time, I returned just 3 days later, but everything had changed, they refused to take my order at the front and forcing us to use the kiosk which is now working for some reasons, I asked them why and they explained they couldn't take order because noone were available and the drive thru was also backed up on orders that they decided to stop taking more orders from us, at that time me and my friend were the only people inside the restaurant, so I don't understand why they couldn't help us, moreover the kiosk couldn't customize my order, for example if I wanted to get 6 meat patties, I had to order 6 cheeseburgers and took out everything except the meats which would cost me more, eventually I gave up and decided to send out my order thru the front with my extra custom request which created more bad stuffs. Apparently the same stuffs I ordered twice got charged with different prices, because the guy who took my order didn't know how to work the register, I had included both receipts in pictures to compare why I gave this place a 2 stars. The first receipt I ordered 5 patties which only costed me $5, the guy knew how to customize my order, unfortunately the second guy on the second receipt needed to be retrained, instead of charging me for 5 patties, he charged me for 5 sausages which came out to a total of $9.99, I felt like I was being ripped off. My family and I have eaten several times due to the convenient location near Old Town Temecula. The one positive about this location is that it is consistent about being underperforming for a McDonalds. We have yet to get our orders completely correct: something is always missing even when we use the self-ordering kiosks. This is also where we learned that when one is going to use a McDonald's phone app deal, one must scan the coupon code first before actually ordering the coupon item. It became a fiasco when I attempted to use the coupon offer at the counter register instead. The kitchen his also slow when it come to fulfilling orders, just off the menu items, no special orders. We've now learned to drive up Rancho Road to a much better and organized McDonald's. read more

You usually don't need to rate fast food companies but this one is just so terrible that I had to anyways. I work night shifts so I need some food after work at 2am. On many occasions, this place finds a way to disappoint me and sometimes make me want to throw up. For example, one time a dude left a coin holder wrapper in my bag. How did it even end up there in the first place? Another time, I ordered sweet tea to accompany my long commute - I ended up drinking bland tea. Can't really complain though, it's fast food and results may vary. But this one is very consistent in disappointing so I just had to write a review. Proceed with caution. read more

Do not eat at this location. Read the reviews! Just came from here and feeling very frustrated by their employees. No one answered me at the speaker after I sat there and called out several times. I could hear the other lane pass through a 2nd car so I decided to pull up. I figured something was wrong bc I sat there behind 2 other cars for about 10 mins. By the time I got to the window they told me they can't take my order unless it was through the speaker. I explained that no one was answering, I waited a long time and now there's a full line of cars behind me. I only need a happy meal, they should be able to take it. She would not help me or even apologize for the inconvenience. None of them were in uniform or with a name tag. The person serving up food was wearing her backpack which was also weird. The employee walked away bc I asked to speak to a manager. I think it was a manager that came but he wouldn't even speak he just stood there. I explained what happened and he still told me no and that I had to go back around, did not want to help and was extremely rude to me unnecessarily. I asked for their name and he said he can't give it to me. No name tags so unsure how I can complain... I took a photo of their customer service hotline, called and I left a voicemail. I do hope they help improve this service. It's a very poorly managed location. I also just read several other reviews saying the same issues. I came across a post of the "manager" that would not give his name or help me -I pulled from someone else's post experiencing the same lack of professionalism or customer service. read more

Soft drink machines were down when I came. Never seen that before. Ordered a frappe instead, only wait 20 minutes in line, pay for it, get to the pickup window and be told that machine is broken too. I was asked if I wanted something else or get my money back. I got my money back and went to a different McDonald's , which had both a working soft drink machine and a working frappe machine. I regret eating the burgers I got here as well. I feel like throwing up, and I hope these people are washing their hands when they are preparing food! read more
