I had an appointment nearby so when I had some time to grab a bite to eat I headed over to this McDonalds. This location has a good chunk of real estate dedicated to it, so it has quite a bit of seating. I was very surprised to see that there is actually a McDonalds play area connected to the restaurant. It is (not surprisingly) closed at this time due to the pandemic, but there were the familiar tubes for kids to crawl through. I had thought McDonalds had eliminated all these so it was nice to see. Hopefully in better times kids will be able to enjoy it again. This McDonalds has been renovated with the "McCafe" aesthetic, looking more like a modern day cafe than a traditional McDonalds. On the one hand it looks nice and clean with some neat non-traditional furniture. On the other, I definitely miss some of the more colorful features of McDonalds past. At the time I visited, indoor seating was open and people were socially distancing. The self serve sofa machine was open for customers to use as well. My food was served quickly. The fries were hot and crisp on the outside. My Filet O' Fish was also freshy made and tasty as always. A nice McDonalds with a cool looking interior and good service. I would visit again. read more

I ordered through my mobile app, when I got to the window I needed to add more food, but they wouldn't let me!! They said, "you already paid for your order, there's nothing we can do." Really??! I got my food and when I got home, they gave me the wrong breakfast sandwich. I called the restaurant and they were so uneducated. Terrible customer service, didnt even want to order food. Pull to window to order decline the app. I am asked for a min, like ok do what you gotta do, car behind me goes to secondary window to place order, lady who asked me to wait then services car that was behind me, asks me to wait again, car behind the other car then goes to secondary window, gets serviced. Lady gets back and asks me to wait again! so I responded I dont really need to wait you just serviced the two people behind me so IDK what one minute you need. Her response was I gave you the curtesy of saying I needed a min. I said I aint dealing with this S*** left. Ill just call the store let them know they have incompetence working. Call the store the lady who was working the window said she is the manager. And then says we only have 2 people working and she gave me the curtesy of saying she needed a min. So I tell her, idk what you mean by curtesy you serviced the people behind me, curtesy would of been servicing the first car there. So she complained about having no staffing available. Lady just said she was the manager, then complained about the staffing levels, she put on for the shift, keep in mind its 10:41 PM the inside store isnt exactly heavy foot traffic that late. You are only working the drive throughs. How does someone who is the "manager" who probably just did the old saturday night live bit of I am the manager. Complain about the amount of staffing she put onto her own shift, then come out and have the rude doucheyness of asking me to wait to service the people there after me. Called corporate dont normally wish malice on anyone, but lady whoever you are, hope you have a back up plan to what ever back up plan you are currently on, but It is now my mission to make sure you are no longer gainfully employed. read more

This location has really gone down hill over the years! The service is always slow here. If you ever go to the "drive through" you never just drive through. They always make you wait at one of their car side to go spots. The last time I went here will be the last time I use this location. That is because of the rude, unprovoked audacity of this short frumpy self proclaimed manager of the store who was incredibly rude and raised her voice to me for absolutely no reason. I ordered on the app, pulled up to the microphone and gave them my 4 digit app ordering code, they confronted my order and told me to pull to the window. Once I got there they told me to pull up to the waiting area. (What a surprise) A lady came out and delivered food to the car that had arrived after me but had pulled In front of me. When she went to walk back into the establishment she gave me a confused look as to say "why are you still here" and rushed over to rudely ask my order information. When she returned she proceeded to tell me they never received my order and it was not in their system. When I showed her my phone with the receipt, correct address and confirmation code she began yelling at me saying "that isn't going to make it appear in my system, I don't have it" I asked her to check again and she refused. Telling me there was nothing for me and I should leave. So I ended up waiting longer than expected and ended up with no food. I'm not sure who hurt this lady but I can tell you she is definitely hurting this location's business and customer relations with her horrible attitude and poor work ethnic. Rachael went out of her way to make my sons first time at McDonald's memorable. She brought our food out to the floor and even gave my son a treat. Everything was clean and the food was great. We actually got the wrong order but they fixed it before we could bring it up. read more

The staff here is wonderful but am having an terrible issue using the McDonald's app at the Tinton Falls location since March. Whenever I attempt to use the app in the morning, I'm told that the code has been previously used. HOWEVER, the app works at every other location! I've complained to the manager, the franchisee, and McDonald's Corporate with no success. McDonald's Corporate basically said too bad, don't use the app at Tinton Falls. The restaurant acknowledges the problem and that there have been other complaints but here it's June and it's not fixed. So disappointed because this was my go to for coffee and breakfast but am shortchanged by not having the ability to use the app. read more

Best staffed McDonalds in the area. A lot of the folks have been there awhile, so you get that local friendly vibe you might expect at a family run place. There are a few who deserve to be recognized by name, but my personal favorite employee is the guy in the first window in the morning. His positive attitude is infectious and I always drive away feeling a little better about starting my day. Often felt like if they knew the impact that guy had on so many folks, just by being friendly, he'd be running the store. He is far from the only one, the afternoon first window guy is great as well, as are all the folks who transplanted from the Lincroft spot. Really the food is close to the same for most McDonalds so the staff is what stands out. And in this case, all of them are excellent. read more

Just moved to the area and I normally don't review fast food locations but service and food was bad.

As senior citizens in the local area we often stop by this McDonald's to have our mid-morning cup of coffee at our senior discount price of 84 cents. Most time we sit inside to relax and often enjoy a friendly conversation with Loretta, the senior lady who cleans the tables and keeps the place looking spiffy. She is such a joy to talk with and she loves to tell us about her cats and other little critters like the raccoon, that hang out at her home. She is such a pleasure. I really applaud McDonald's for hiring seniors. BTW, the coffee is always fresh and hot and in my opinion, the taste competes with the best of them in the area. As long as they keep up the great coffee and keep Loretta around we'll keep coming. Oh, and did I mention we seniors get a refill at this location. read more

I would like to express my gratitude to the staff at McDonald's, Sabrina, in particular. My young daughter was sick with the flu and had a sore throat. My elderly parents were caring for her while I was at work and my father wanted to make her feel better with a McFlurry. He attempted to order an apple pie McFlurry ( not on the menu) that my daughter saw an ad for on the internet. Without hesitation the young woman improvised and made an apple pie McFlurry and added an apple pie as well. She also wrote "feel better McDonald's " on the bag. Thank you for going the extra mile!!! Thankfully they came out nice and hot but there was no communication to us that they were making them or if anyone was still alive back there. Not for nothing but when the person taking your orders asks if you want hot or mild sauce for your breakfast burrito and you say hot..and then at the pick up window you say "is the hot sauce in the bag?" And the snowflake at the window with the grumpy "I don't want to be here" face says yes. Well...it should be in the friggin bag. It's not. The only reason I ordered a breakfast burrito was for the hot sauce. So now I have a dry ass burrito with no hot sauce and I don't have time to go back because I didn't open the bag until I got to my doctors office parking lot. I know it's not a huge deal whether or not I have the hot sauce but don't yes me to death and then be full of crap. It would have taken 2 seconds to grab it and put it in the bag. Because they didn't, this is what happens. The restaurant gets a crap review on yelp and I have nothing but oj for breakfast. Oh, and I will never return to that location again. I know McDonald's probably pays minimum wage and that sucks BUT...if you can't do your job correctly you don't deserve more than minimum wage. They should call it minimum effort wage. read more

Came here around 12:30 am and the woman taking our order was extremely rude. Not even a you're welcome when we said thank you. She cut us off while ordering. All together was an extremely unpleasant costumer service experience. The young guy working the window was very pleasant though. There is rarely a wait in the drive through, but when you get up to the window, after paying, there is a very long wait to get your food. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it has happened multiple times. This location is convenient for the few times a year that we get fast food which is why we keep going back, but the wait time is way too long for a "fast" food restaurant. Once the food is ready, the employees do not acknowledge nor apologize for the wait. Unprofessional and rude in my opinion. read more
